Method and device for determining the homogeneity of skin color
In various embodiments, a method for determining a homogeneity of complexion is provided. The method may include provision of a digital image on which skin is portrayed and which is parameterized in a color space which is defined by a parameter set in which one of the parameters is a hue, identifying and/or defining at least one skin examination area in the transformed image, calculating a hue distribution in the at least one skin examination area, and determining at least one homogeneity value for the complexion based on the calculated hue distribution.
DEFORMABLE MEMBRANE FOR SPECKLE MITIGATION
A system with a deformable membrane for speckle mitigation. In some embodiments, the system includes a laser for producing laser light; a photodetector for detecting the laser light after interaction of the laser light with a sample; and a silicon deformable membrane, for modulating the phase of the laser light.
SKIN CLEANSER
A skin cleanser includes a surface, such as a silicone surface, with at least one textured portion for transmitting vibrational tapping to the skin. The skin cleanser includes at least one oscillating motor for generating the tapping motion to the skin. The textured portion includes touch-points or a wave that transmit the tapping motion to skin in contact with the textured portions. The touch-points may include thicker and thinner formations of the touch-points to provide firmer or softer vibrations to the skin. The touch-points are within about 0.5 to 2.5 mm in diameter. One configuration includes multiple oscillating motors configured to provide different vibration frequencies at around 50-300 Hertz and operable simultaneously.
Health monitoring device
Example aspects of a volatile organic compound detection device, a wearable health monitoring device, and a method of monitoring a user's health are disclosed. The volatile organic compound detection device can comprise a collector comprising a collector material configured to collect volatile organic compounds given off from a user's skin; a separator comprising a gas chromatography column configured to separate mixtures of the volatile organic compounds into their constituent chemicals; and an identifier comprising a detector and a processor, the detector configured to transduce the constituent chemicals into a signal, the processor configured to process the signal to identify specific volatile organic compounds indicative of a health condition.
SKIN CARE DEVICE THAT CAN CHECK IMPROVED SKIN BASED ON BIOMETRIC INFORMATION
The present invention relates to a skin care device that maximizes effects of cosmetics by generating a microcurrent on the skin and allows a user to directly recognize effects of the skin care device by checking skin condition using a configuration capable of detecting biometric information.
The skin care device comprises: a main body unit equipped with a power button; a current rod installed on the main body unit and transmitting a microcurrent to a user's skin; a control unit installed inside the main body unit, supplying and controlling the microcurrent to the current rod based on an operation signal of the power button, and a sensor unit installed on the main body unit and measuring the user's skin information, wherein the skin care device informs skin condition of the user in real time based on the skin information measured by the sensor unit.
