ORAL HEALTH ASSESSMENT FOR GENERATING A DENTAL TREATMENT PLAN
A computer program and computer-based system for remotely determining a dental treatment plan (10) of a user (30) of a personal computing device (20) by obtaining, using the personal computing device (20), at least one digital image (1) of the person’s oral cavity (31) and additional non-image data (2) comprising a choice (7) of a predefined topic (5) by said user (30). The digital images (1) and non-image data (2) are processed to extract dental health indicators (8) that are used to evaluate any dental condition (9) of said user (30). A dental treatment plan (10) is generated based on the dental condition (9) and a database (3) defining logical relationships between predefined topics (5) and actions (6) for said user (30) to take, wherein a selection of said actions (6) arranged in a regimen and displayed on a user interface (25) of said personal computing device (20).
Melrose Pain Solutions Method and Algorithm: Managing Pain in Opioid Dependent Patients
The present invention provides a novel, comprehensive approach for the effective, safe and compassionate management of pain and opioid dependency, both in inpatient and outpatient settings, through the various stages of patient contact with the current healthcare system (e.g. initial encounter, treatment initiation, inpatient care, discharge, and post-discharge/chronic management) via innovative methods and treatment algorithms that provide consistent, repeatable and material advances in potential and high-risk, opioid-dependent patient management.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ASSOCIATING SYMPTOMS WITH MEDICAL CONDITIONS
Disclosed is a system for associating a symptom with a medical condition. The system comprises a server arrangement, associated with a user device. The server arrangement is operable to: provide, to user device, a set of user activities; receive, from user device, information relating to selection of a user activity from set of user activities; receive, from user device, user input associated with selected user activity; analyse user input and assign performance score thereto; identify, based on performance score, one or more symptoms; and assign severity score to symptom for associating symptom with medical condition. Disclosed also is method for associating symptom with medical condition and computer program product to execute aforementioned method.
System and method for managing pharmacological therapeutics including a health monitoring device
Embodiments herein relate to systems, devices and methods for managing pharmacological therapeutics and aspects of the same. In an embodiment, a hearing assistance device can include a control circuit, an electroacoustic transducer for generating sound in electrical communication with the control circuit, a power supply circuit in electrical communication with the control circuit, and a sensor package in electrical communication with the control circuit. The control circuit can be configured to evaluate a signal from at least one of the sensors of the sensor package to detect administration of a therapy or receive data indicating that administration of a therapy has taken place. The control circuit can also be configured to record an instance of a detected medication administration event along with a timestamp. Other embodiments are also included herein.
Accessory for an inhaler, inhaler and method for detecting a drug administration process
The accessory (110) for an inhaler (100) is adapted to be removably assembled on a casing (101) of the inhaler (100), and comprises: an acceleration sensor (112), an optical type proximity sensor (113), an electronic circuitry (114) electrically connected to the acceleration sensor (112) and to the proximity sensor (113); the electronic circuitry (114) in combination with the acceleration sensor (112) and the proximity sensor (113) is adapted to detect a drug administration process; the electronic circuitry (114) in combination with the acceleration sensor (112) is adapted to detect an inhalation flow inside said inhaler (100).
COMPLIANCE-BASED CLEANING DEVICE
A compliance-based cleaning device includes an internal housing and a sanitization chamber coupled to the internal housing and configured to receive a piece of equipment to be cleaned. The sanitization chamber transitions between an open position and a closed position by rotating about an axis within the internal housing. The device further includes a cleaning member located in proximity to the sanitization chamber and configured to perform a cleaning process on the piece of equipment in response to the sanitization chamber entering the closed position.
Processor implemented systems and methods for measuring cognitive abilities
A computer-implemented cognitive assessment tool is provided for assessing cognitive ability of an individual while multi-tasking. In one embodiment, a computer processing system on which the tool is implemented may receive form the individual first responses to a first task and second responses to a second task, where the first task and the second task are presented to the individual simultaneously. The system may determine that the first task and the second task are performed by the individual based on the first responses and the second responses, and compute a cognitive measure using one or both of the first responses and the second responses. Further, computing the cognitive measure may be based on performance measures of one or both of the first responses and the second responses. Based on the cognitive measure, the system may output a cognitive assessment to the individual.
Adherence monitor for a medicament inhaler with tethered cap
Some embodiments are directed to an adherence monitor for use with a tethered cap inhaler device. The adherence monitor engages the inhaler device, and includes a tether opening located within a housing of the adherence monitor for receiving the tether. The tether opening is in the form of a slot in a base portion of the housing. The path length of the tether around the adherence monitor is kept from being increased, compared to its path length when the adherence monitor is not attached to the inhaler, by having the slot located to allow the tether to pass through the slot. Various sensors of the adherence monitor in various embodiments detect inhaler usage.
Evaluation and visualization of glycemic dysfunction
An amount of glycemic dysfunction associated with mis-timing (e.g., delay) of meal boluses based on replay analysis is determined. The amount of dysfunction of historical or estimated bolusing as compared to an optimally timed bolus based on the replay analysis is quantified and visualized. Inferences may be made about diabetes meal management regarding inputs from a patient.
