BED-LEAVING PREDICTION NOTIFICATION DEVICE AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM
20230025313 · 2023-01-26 ·

A bed-leaving prediction device (server device) (10) is connected through a digital communication network (60) to: a portable information processing terminal (40) of care staff; environmental sensors (32 to 34) for detecting environment values such as temperature in a room; a human sensor (31); and a bed sensor (35). A bed-leaving prediction processing section (115) calculates a bed-leaving prediction value indicative of a degree of possibility that a care recipient leaves a sleeping furniture after a second time interval has expired since a current time point based on a plurality of environment values detected in a time period between the current time point and a time point before expiration of a first time interval, outputs of the human sensor, and outputs of the bed sensor. A bed-leaving notification processing section (117) compares the bed-leaving prediction value with a threshold value, and transmits, to the portable information processing terminal, a bed-leaving notification indicating that the care recipient leaves the sleeping furniture after the second time interval expires when the bed-leaving prediction value exceeds the threshold value.

Certain aspects of the disclosure are directed to an apparatus including a scale and external circuitry. The scale includes a platform, and data-procurement circuitry for collecting signals indicative of the user's identity and cardio-physiological measurements. The scale includes processing circuitry to process data obtained by the data-procurement circuitry, therefrom generate cardio-related physiologic data, and to send user data to the external circuitry. The external circuitry identifies a risk that the user has a condition based on the reference information and the user data provided by the scale and outputs generic information correlating to the condition to the scale that is tailored based on the identified risk.

SYSTEMS, APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR PROPERLY LOCATING ITEMS

Systems, methods and apparatus are disclosed for properly using and locating object retention wands via the use of at least one sensor located on or in the wand body for determining when the wand is capable of properly scanning a target area. In one form, a proximity sensor is used. In another form a motion sensor is used. In still other forms, both a proximity sensor and motion sensor are used. In some forms, the wand system further includes an indicator for indicating whether the wand is within proper read range, speed and/or orientation of a target area so as to confirm proper use of the wand to locate retained objects before concluding a procedure. In other forms one or more of a user interface, scanner and network interface may also be used with the system. Further systems, methods and apparatus are also disclosed herein.

Robotic interactions for observable signs of intent

Described herein are assistant robots that anticipate needs of one or more people (or animals). The assistant robots may recognize a current activity, knowledge of the person's routines, and contextual information. As such, the assistant robots can provide or offer to provide appropriate robotic assistance. The assistant robots can learn users' habits or be provided with knowledge regarding humans in its environment. The assistant robots develop a schedule and contextual understanding of the persons' behavior and needs. The assistant robots may interact, understand, and communicate with people before, during, or after providing assistance. The robot can combine gesture, clothing, emotional aspect, time, pose recognition, action recognition, and other observational data to understand people's medical condition, current activity, and future intended activities and intents.

MULTIMODAL CONVERSATIONAL PLATFORM FOR REMOTE PATIENT DIAGNOSIS AND MONITORING

A virtual agent instructs a responding person to perform specific verbal exercises. Audio and image inputs from the responding person's performance of the exercises are used to identify speech, video, cognitive, and/or respiratory biomarkers, which are then used to evaluate speech motor function and/or neurological health. Contemplated exercises include test aspects of oral motor proficiency, sustained phonation, diadochokinesis, reading speech, spontaneous speech, spirometry, picture description, and emotion elicitation. Metrics from evaluation of the responding person's performance are advantageously produced automatically, and are presented in spreadsheet format.

Distributed healthcare communication method

A graphical audio station of a nurse call system is operable to permit a user to perform one or more of the following functions: establish a two-way voice communication link with another computer device in another patient and/or with a another computer device located in another staff work area and/or with a wireless communication device carried by caregiver and/or with a telephone of the healthcare facility; broadcast a voice page to a group of other selected computer devices; compose and send a text message to a portable device that is carried by a caregiver and that has wireless communication capability; browse web pages and/or view multimedia content, such as videos, hosted on servers of the healthcare facility and/or that are accessible via the Internet; view and/or acknowledge and/or answer and/or cancel alerts or nurse calls originating in a plurality of patient rooms.
