Radiographic Imaging System
Radiographic imaging system comprising an x-ray radiation source. Multiple radiographic imaging apparatuses, each including multiple radiation detecting elements, are arranged two-dimensionally, and configured to read charges generated in the radiation detecting elements as image data and transmit an image signal in response to a command. A console communicating with, controlling with a command the operation of, and receiving image signals from, the multiple radiographic imaging apparatuses and acquires multiple radiographing order information items indicating which of the multiple radiographic imaging apparatuses is to be used for conducting radiographing. Upon receiving the image signal from a first of the radiographic imaging apparatuses, the console determines from the multiple radiographing order information items a subsequent radiographing order item to be conducted by the first radiographic imaging apparatus, and sends a first command to the first radiographic imaging apparatus instructing it to conduct the subsequent radiographing order item.

A radiation imaging system includes pixel array, scanning circuit to scan rows of the pixel array, and readout circuit to read signals from the pixel array. Each pixel includes converter to generate electric signal corresponding to radiation and transistor connected to the converter. The readout circuit reads signal from the converter via the transistor. The system performs image capturing modes and conditioning mode of conditioning a threshold voltage of the transistor. In the conditioning mode, the scanning circuit supplies, to a gate of the transistor, an OFF voltage different from OFF voltages in the image capturing modes. The scanning circuit scans the rows in units of at least one row in the image capturing modes, and scans the rows in units of at least two rows in the conditioning mode.

The medical image apparatus includes an output unit; and a controller configured to control the output unit to display an image obtained by photographing an object and to display, over the image, a top indicator for setting a top limit for an area to be X-rayed and at least one guideline indicating a bottom limit for the area to be X-rayed according to the top indicator and the number of partial photographing operations.
IMAGING SYSTEMS USING X-RAY FLUORESCENCE
Disclosed herein is a method, comprising: causing emission of characteristic X-rays of a chemical element in an object by directing radiation to the object; capturing images of the object using the radiation that has transmitted through the object; capturing images of the chemical element in the object using the characteristic X-rays; reconstructing a three-dimensional image of the object based on the images of the object; determining a three-dimensional distribution of the chemical element in the object based on the images of the chemical element; and superposing the three-dimensional image of the object and the three-dimensional distribution of the chemical element in the object to form a superposed image of the object. The radiation directed to the object comes from multiple radiation sources. The images are captured with multiple image sensors. The radiation sources and the image sensors are stationary with respect to the object.
