Disclosed is a digital breast tomosynthesis system including: an X-ray tube configured to generate X-rays; a C-arm configured to receive the X-ray tube and rotate about a first rotation axis during an X-ray exposure period; an X-ray detector configured to convert the X-ray, which is emitted from the X-ray tube and passes through a breast, into image information; and a focal spot controller configured to operate in conjunction with a movement of the X-ray tube caused by a rotation of the C-arm, in which the focal spot controller controls a position of a focal spot of the X-ray with various methods. As a result, the position of the focal spot of the X-ray tube may be controlled by the simple structure and method, thereby eliminating blurring of a projection image that affects the determination of quality of a three-dimensional image, and thus significantly improving sharpness.

RADIOLOGICAL IMAGING METHOD AND RADIOLOGICAL APPARATUS WITH VERTICAL SCANNING OF 2 RADIATION SOURCES

A radiological apparatus including: a gantry encapsulated within a cover, a patient platform, and two radiation sources with imaging directions orthogonal to each other, sliding vertically to perform vertical scanning of a patient standing on the platform. The gantry cover top view is L shaped, each radiation source being located outside the gantry cover, inside the angular sector of the L, and is encapsulated within a cover sliding vertically with the radiation source it encapsulates. The radiological apparatus also includes: a first security device stopping the vertical scanning, when it detects a patient body part going outside a first predetermined area, to avoid collision with the vertically sliding radiation sources covers, and a second security device stopping the vertical scanning, when it detects an object or a person external to the radiological apparatus within a second predetermined area, to avoid collision with the vertically sliding radiation sources covers.

IN VIVO MEASUREMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE LOCALIZED MEASUREMENT OF RADIOTRACER CONCENTRATION IN THE BODY

Various embodiments of a device for in-vivo measurements radiopharmaceuticals used for diagnosis and monitoring of radiotherapy are presented. In some embodiments, the present disclosure relates to a device having a cannula that may include a measurement chamber, a radiation detector and a delivery lumen, wherein the device may be used to both deliver material to the patient (e.g., radiotracers used in radiopharmaceuticals) and measure levels and concentrations of radioactive material in, for example, the patient's blood both during and after administration of the radioactive material. In some embodiments, particles emitted by the radioactive material interact with a scintillation material, resulting in the release of light that may be transmitted, via the scintillation material and/or fiber optic material, to an optical detectors or processor for processing. In some embodiments, particle absorbing materials may be used to limit measurements to materials within the measurement chamber or other area of interest.
