Improved imaging devices and methods. A portable SPECT imaging device may co-register with imaging modalities such as ultrasound. Gamma camera panels including gamma camera sensors may be connected to a mechanical arm. A coded aperture mask may be placed in front of a gamma-ray photon sensor and used to construct a high-resolution three-dimensional map of radioisotope distributions inside a patient, which can be generated by scanning the patient from a reduced range of directions around the patient and with radiation sensors placed in close proximity to this patient. Increased imaging sensitivity and resolution is provided. The SPECT imaging device can be used to guide medical interventions, such as biopsies and ablation therapies, and can also be used to guide surgeries.
SCANNING APPARATUS, METHOD, AND SYSTEM
A scanning apparatus (110), a medical image obtaining method, and a medical image obtaining system (100) are provided. The scanning apparatus (110) comprises a gantry, a controller, a C-shaped arm, a radiation source (112), and a detector (113). The radiation source (112) and the detector (113) are arranged at both ends of the C-shaped arm. The C-shaped arm is connected to the gantry. The controller is configured to control a motion of the gantry to drive the C-shaped arm to move so as to scan a target object.
Cantilevered x-ray CT system for multi-axis imaging
A multi-axis imaging system comprising an imaging gantry with an imaging axis extending through a bore of the imaging gantry, a support column that supports the imaging gantry on one side of the gantry in a cantilevered manner, and a base that supports the imaging gantry and the support column. The imaging system including a first drive mechanism that translates the gantry in a vertical direction relative to the support column and the base, a second drive mechanism that rotates the gantry with respect to the support column between a first orientation where the imaging axis of the imaging gantry extends in a vertical direction parallel to the support column and a second orientation where the imaging axis of the gantry extends in a horizontal direction parallel with the base, and a third drive mechanism that translates the support column and the gantry in a horizontal direction along the base.
MEDICAL IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, X-RAY DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
In one embodiment, a medical image processing apparatus includes: processing circuitry configured to extract 3D blood vessel data of an object from 3D image data of the object, detect a tip position of a medical device moving in a blood vessel in real time from a fluoroscopic image of the object inputted during an operation, and calculate at least one of a recommended route and a recommended direction of the medical device from the 3D blood vessel data, a rough route of the medical device, and the tip position of the medical device; and a terminal device configured to display a 3D blood vessel image of the object generated from the 3D blood vessel data and to designate the rough route of the medical device on the 3D blood vessel image.
Universal Positioning System for X-Ray Imaging System
An X-ray system with a universal positioning system includes a multiple degree of freedom overhead support system mounted within a location for the X-ray system, a first imaging device on the overhead support system, a multiple degree of freedom wall stand disposed within the location for the X-ray system, the wall stand comprising a motive module and a number of moveable members operably connected to the motive module that can be operated by the motive module to move the wall stand over a floor of the location, a second imaging device mounted to the wall stand, a table disposed within the location for the X-ray system, including a base disposed on the floor of the location and a support surface secured at one end to the base, and a workstation including a processing unit configured to send control signals to and to receive data signals from the universal positioning system.
Imaging systems and methods
Versatile, multimode radiographic systems and methods utilize portable energy emitters and radiation-tracking detectors. The x-ray emitter may include a digital camera and, optionally, a thermal imaging camera to provide for fluoroscopic, digital, and infrared thermal imagery of a patient for the purpose of aiding diagnostic, surgical, and non-surgical interventions. The emitter may cooperative with an inventive x-ray capture stage that automatically pivots, orients and aligns itself with the emitter to maximize exposure quality and safety. The combined system uses less power, corrects for any skew or perspective in the emission, allows the subject to remain in place, and allows the surgeon's workflow to continue uninterrupted.
