Dental panoramic views
Provided herein are devices and methods generating a panoramic rendering of a subject's teeth. Methods and processes are provided to image the subject's teeth with a dental scan. Methods and processes are also provided to automatically 3D render the subject's teeth with the scan images. Methods and apparatuses are also provided to generate simulated panoramic views of the subject's dentition from various perspectives.
DISEASE CHARACTERIZATION FROM FUSED PATHOLOGY AND RADIOLOGY DATA
Methods and apparatus distinguish invasive adenocarcinoma (IA) from in situ adenocarcinoma (AIS). One example apparatus includes a set of circuits, and a data store that stores three dimensional (3D) radiological images of tissue demonstrating IA or AIS. The set of circuits includes a classification circuit that generates an invasiveness classification for a diagnostic 3D radiological image, a training circuit that trains the classification circuit to identify a texture feature associated with IA, an image acquisition circuit that acquires a diagnostic 3D radiological image of a region of tissue demonstrating cancerous pathology and that provides the diagnostic 3D radiological image to the classification circuit, and a prediction circuit that generates an invasiveness score based on the diagnostic 3D radiological image and the invasiveness classification. The training circuit trains the classification circuit using a set of 3D histological reconstructions combined with the set of 3D radiological images.
IMAGE QUALITY COMPLIANCE TOOL
The technology relates to a methods and systems for improving medical imaging procedures. An example method includes receiving a first set of quality metrics for a plurality of medical images acquired at a first imaging facility; receiving a second set of quality metrics for a second plurality of medical images acquired at a second imaging facility; comparing the first set of quality metrics to the second set of quality metrics; based on the comparison of the first set of quality metrics to the second set of quality metrics, generating a benchmark for at least one metric in the first set of quality metrics and the second set of quality metrics; generating facility data based on the generated benchmark and the first set of quality metrics; and sending the facility data to the first imaging facility.
Medical imaging apparatus and method of operating same
A medical imaging apparatus is provided. The medical image apparatus includes an output unit; and a controller configured to control the output unit to display an image obtained by photographing an object and to display, over the image, a top indicator for setting a top limit for an area to be X-rayed and at least one guideline indicating a bottom limit for the area to be X-rayed according to the top indicator and the number of partial photographing operations.
Method and system for assistance in guiding an endovascular instrument
A system for assisting guiding an endovascular instrument in vascular structures of an anatomical region of interest of a patient. This system includes an imaging device for capturing three-dimensional images of parts of the body of a patient, a programmable device and a viewing unit. The imaging device captures partially superposed fluoroscopic images of the region, and the programmable device forms a first augmented image, representative of a complete panorama of bones of the region, and cooperates with the imaging device to obtain a second augmented image including a representation of the vascular structures of the region. The imaging device captures a current fluoroscopic image of a part of the region, and the programmable device registers the current fluoroscopic image with respect to the first augmented image and locates and displays, on the viewing unit, an image region corresponding to the current fluoroscopic image in the second augmented image.
System and method for identifying and marking a target in a fluoroscopic three-dimensional reconstruction
A method and system for facilitating identification and marking of a target in a displayed Fluoroscopic Three-Dimensional Reconstruction (F3DR) of a body region of a patient. The system includes a display and a storage device storing instructions for receiving an initial selection of the target in the F3DR, fining the F3DR based on the initial selection of the target, displaying the fined F3DR on the display, and receiving a final selection of the target in the fined F3DR via a user selection. The system further includes at least one hardware processor configured to execute said instructions. The method and instructions may also include receiving a selection of a medical device in two two-dimensional fluoroscopic images, where the medical device is located in an area of the target, and initially fining the F3DR based on the selection of the medical device.
Methods and systems for digital mammography imaging
Various methods and systems are provided for tracking a biopsy target across one or more images. In one example, a method includes determining a position of a biopsy target in a selected image of a patient based on an image registration process with a reference image of the patient, and displaying a graphical representation of the position of the biopsy target on the selected image.
Storage medium, dynamic analysis apparatus, and dynamic analysis system
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program causes a computer to perform an analysis process based on a radiation moving image in which a dynamic state of a specific site of a subject is captured. The program includes the analysis process in which, an analysis is performed based on the radiation moving image wherein when a plane in which the specific site is movable is to be a movable plane, the radiation moving image is obtained by irradiating radiation on the specific site in a state in which the radiation is orthogonal to the movable plane.
Extended tissue types for increased granularity in cardiovascular disease phenotyping
Systems and methods for improving soft tissue contrast, characterizing tissue, classifying phenotype, stratifying risk, and performing multi-scale modeling aided by multiple energy or contrast excitation and evaluation are provided. The systems and methods can include single and multi-phase acquisitions and broad and local spectrum imaging to assess atherosclerotic plaque tissues in the vessel wall and perivascular space.
METHOD AND SYSTEM TO PREDICT PROGNOSIS FOR CRITICALLY ILL PATIENTS
A method for evaluating one or more diagnostic linages of a patient obtained in different examination sessions and evaluating the diagnostic images using trained machine learning logic to generate prognosis and treatment information related to a medical condition of the patient detected during the evaluation. The prognosis-related information is recorded and displayed.
