Haptic touch feedback surgical device for palpating tissue
A surgical device for providing haptic feedback includes a housing having a cavity defined therein configured to receive a finger of a user and an elongated shaft configured to extend through the housing and into the cavity and configured to support a spring thereon and a pressure contact. A fluid-filled sensor is included that has a plurality of tubes configured to extend from the cavity, each tube includes a fluid-filled bladder at both ends thereof joined by a fluid channel therebetween. Each tube is configured to contain a fluid therein such that when a user's finger is engaged between the fluid-filled bladder at the proximal end of the tubes and the pressure contact, changes in pressure in the fluid-filled bladders at a distal end of the tubes is correspondingly registered in the fluid-filled bladders at the proximal end of the tubes providing haptic feedback to the user.
WEARABLE SUPPORT STRUCTURES FOR MEDICAL DEVICES
A system for supporting a surgical instrument relative to a body of a user can comprise a body-mountable portion for supporting an arm of the user, the body-mountable portion comprising a forearm support, an instrument support connected to the body-mountable portion to hold a handle of the surgical instrument proximate the forearm support, and a positioning device configured to hold a position of the instrument support relative to the body-mountable portion. A method for supporting a medical instrument against the body of a user can comprise placing an arm of the user in a support structure, attaching the support structure to the body, positioning the medical instrument in an instrument support connected to the support structure, and adjusting a positioning device to fix a position of the medical instrument relative to the body. In examples, the support structure can comprise an exoskeleton sleeve.

TILTING SEAT WITH LOWERED JOINT
A tilting seat for operators in a controlled environment, particularly for surgeons and the like, comprising a saddle, a chest support, a forehead support and a leg support connected to a base standing on the ground, such that the saddle, the chest support, the forehead support and the leg support are integrally movable with rotation about a horizontal-axis joint placed below the saddle, keeping the space over the joint free from movable elements while in use, guaranteeing the substantial lack of contamination in such space.

CONSOLE FOR OPERATING ACTUATING MECHANISM
Disclosed is a console for operating an actuating mechanism, relating to the technical filed of automatic control, and being for use in resolving the technical problem of shift of a controller under the influence of gravity. The console for operating an actuating mechanism includes a controller and a support base. The controller is constrained in both the longitudinal direction and the vertical direction, so that connection between the controller and the support base is tight and reliable, and no displacement would occur in any of three directions (i.e., the longitudinal direction, the horizontal direction, and the vertical direction). Thus, the phenomenon that position information given by the controller is inaccurate due to shift of the controller under the influence of the gravity after long-term usage can be avoided, thereby removing the factors affecting success of surgery, and ensuring the success rate of the surgery.
Surgeon Support System for Operating Tables
Systems and methods of providing an attendant support on an operating table include obtaining a cushion presenting an attendant support surface and coupling the cushion to a rail of the operating table such that the attendant support surface of the cushion is oriented at least partially laterally outward from the rail. The attendant support surface is operable to provide support to an attendant positioned adjacent to and leaning against the operating table.
SURGICAL ROBOTIC SYSTEM USER INTERFACES
A surgical robotic system includes: a surgical table; a plurality of movable carts being oriented toward the surgical table, each of which includes a robotic arm, and an alignment unit configured to determine an orientation of the movable cart and the robotic arm relative to the surgical table; and a computer coupled to each of the plurality of movable carts and configured to calculate a yaw angle for each of the plurality of movable carts.
Therapeutic skin lifting device and related systems and methods
A therapeutic device includes a generally rigid but elastically deformable sheet body including a bridge portion, first and second support portions extending outwardly from the bridge portion in opposite directions along a longitudinal dimension, and adhesive or an adhesion member on a first surface along the bridge portion that is adapted for adhesion to skin of a user above a target site. The therapeutic device also includes first and second projections on the first surface proximate to lateral edges of the sheet body. The sheet body is configured to assume a neutral configuration in which the first and second projections space the bridge portion and the adhesive or the adhesion member apart from the target site by an air gap, a depressed position during affixation of the first surface to the target site, and an adhesion configuration after affixation of the first surface to the target site.
