DENTAL ISOLATION SYSTEM
A dental isolation system includes a dental tool that has a handle portion at a proximal end, a tip portion at an opposite, distal end, and a body portion extending between the handle portion and the tip portion. The handle portion has handles and finger apertures so that a dentist can manipulate the distal end. The tip portion is inserted into an O-ring of a dental dam and, when actuated by a dentist, the tip portion forms a quadrant, allowing the stretched O-ring to easily fit over a tooth.

DENTAL ASPIRATION PREVENTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An aspiration prevention system may be configured to keep items from moving from a mouth of a patient into a throat of the patient. The system may include a mouth prop, a frame, and an air-permeable barrier. The mouth prop may have a top surface configured to abut top teeth of the mouth, a bottom surface configured to abut bottom teeth of the mouth, and a frame coupling feature. The frame may have a barrier retention feature configured to retain an air-permeable barrier, and a prop coupling feature that is attachable to the frame coupling feature of the mouth prop in a position in which the frame at least partially covers the throat.
DEVICE FOR SHEILDING TEETH TO BE TREATED
The invention relates to a device for shielding teeth to be treated in order to prevent an inflow of liquid, such as saliva or blood for example, and to a use of the device according to the invention. The invention relates to a partial dental dam (1) for protecting teeth to be treated, comprising a tensioning cloth (2) made of an elastic material and two actuation elements (3) arranged on opposing ends of the tensioning cloth (2). The tensioning cloth (2) is designed to be introduced into at least one intermediate tooth space (11) from the occlusal side in a first tensioned state, which can be achieved by pulling apart the actuation elements (3) in a tensioning direction (90), and to sealingly rest against the interdental gingiva and the approximal surfaces of the teeth (10) forming the at least one intermediate tooth space (11) in a second state after being introduced into the at least one intermediate tooth space (11). Each actuation element (3) rests against at least one tooth (10) and/or against the surrounding gingiva in the second state. The invention further relates to the use of the partial dental dam according to the invention. The tensioning cloth (2) is elongated by pulling the actuation elements (3) in the tensioning direction (90); the tensioning cloth (2) is introduced into at least one intermediate tooth space (11) from the occlusal side in the elongated state; and the tensioning cloth (2) is brought to rest against the interdental gingiva and the approximal surfaces of the teeth (10) forming the at least one intermediate tooth space (11) by releasing the tensioning force. Each of the actuation elements (3) rests against at least one tooth (10) and/or against the surrounding gingiva.

Film clamping element
The inventive film clamping element (10) is held by a lip ring (14) and a vestibular ring (16), between which and possibly beyond which a film (12) extends. The film (12) and also the rings (14, 16) are elastically deformable, and it is provided that the film (12) comprises an attachment (24, 26) each at two positions opposite one another. Between these attachments (24, 26), at least one elastic band (20, 22) extends which is suitable to constrict the film (12) radially towards the inside.
Tear-resistant dental dams
A tear-resistant dental dam is provided. The tear-resistant dental dam includes a first thermoplastic elastomeric sheet and a second thermoplastic elastomeric sheet disposed on the first thermoplastic elastomeric sheet. The first and second thermoplastic elastomeric sheets have a grid pattern of weld joint regions configured to couple together the first and second thermoplastic elastomeric sheets. The grid pattern of weld joint regions define a plurality of unwelded regions of the first and second thermoplastic elastomeric sheets.

AN ANATOMICAL DRAPE DEVICE
An anatomical drape, such as a dental drape, for covering a treatment area of an anatomical part, the drape comprising an elastomeric material capable of conforming to the contours of the anatomical part and including a curing agent wherein activation of the curing agent, for example by a light source, causes selective hardening of the stretched material to at least partially set the drape in a configuration conforming to the anatomical part. The semi-rigid set drape is liquid impermeable but gas permeable. A method of manufacturing the drape is also disclosed.
