Mandibular repositioning device
An intra-oral device includes an upper splint, a lower splint and a pair of lateral connecting rods. Each connecting rod has a first rod end that connects to the lower splint and a second rod end that connects to the upper splint. The connecting rods are configured to maintain the mandible in an advanced position relative to the maxilla. The upper splint includes at least one upper gutter portion that retains the upper splint on the maxilla. The lower splint includes at least one lower gutter portion that retains the lower splint on the mandible. The thickness of the at least one upper gutter portion and/or the at least one lower gutter portion may vary across the profile of the teeth.

Multilayer dental appliances and related methods and systems
A dental appliance for positioning a patient's teeth includes a removable orthodontic tooth positioning appliance having teeth receiving cavities shaped to directly receive at least some of the patient's teeth and apply a resilient positioning force to the patient's teeth. The appliance includes a hard polymer layer having a hard polymer layer elastic modulus disposed between a first soft polymer layer having a first soft polymer layer elastic modulus and a second soft polymer layer having a second soft polymer layer elastic modulus. The hard polymer layer elastic modulus is greater than each of the first soft polymer layer elastic modulus and the second soft polymer layer elastic modulus. At least one of the first soft polymer layer and the second soft polymer layer has a flexural modulus of greater than about 35,000 psi.

ACCESSORY AND ASSEMBLY OF ACCESSORY AND SHELL-SHAPED TOOTH REPOSITIONER
Provided is an accessory for being fixed on tooth and enabling a shell-shaped tooth repositioner to apply forces to the tooth, wherein the accessory is a 3D body enclosed by a bottom surface, a guiding surface and N successively-adjoined force-applying surfaces, the accessory can be fixed on the tooth by bonding the bottom surface and a surface of the tooth, the bottom surface and the guiding surface adjoin each of the N successively adjoined force applying surface, transition between the guidance surface and the surface of the tooth is gentler than transition between each of the N force-applying surfaces and the surface of the tooth, N is a natural number greater than or equal to 2, among the N successively-adjoined force-applying surfaces, an angle between a first force-applying surface and the N.sup.th force applying surface is greater than or equal to 60° and less than or equal to 120°.

OVERLAPPING CANINES AND LATERALS DENTITION APPLIANCE
A preformed dentition appliance to adjust an alignment of a person's teeth. The preformed dentition appliance includes a body having a front portion and a rear portion extending from the front portion. The body defines a central longitudinal axis extending from the front portion to the rear portion and includes a trough disposed between an outer shield spaced from an inner shield. The outer shield and the inner shield are each inclined with respect to the trough. A first protrusion extends laterally along a distal surface of the outer shield directed toward a second protrusion that extends laterally along a mesial surface of the inner shield. The first and second protrusions include one or more terminating ends located toward a distal side of a lateral incisor tooth and a mesial side of a canine tooth to adjust the alignment thereof to accommodate anterior crowding of upper and/or lower teeth.
