DEVICES AND METHODS FOR AUDITORY REHABILITATION FOR INTERAURAL ASYMMETRY
A device, system and related methods to provide assessment and treatment of amblyaudia through standardized methods that do not require advanced training or a booth with loudspeakers for the operator to administer. The ARIA stimuli protocols for both assessment and treatment, encoded in or to be used by a software program or application, are transferred to a stand-alone set of specialized noise-cancelling headphones attached or connected to, wired or wirelessly, a software platform on an electronic computing device. or integrated with the headphones. The program administers assessment tests to individuals through the noise-cancelling earphones. The device enables someone with minimal instructions to administer automatically or semi-automatically both assessment and treatment protocols, generate results, make interpretations, store data, and produce reports. The device or system may be loaded with standard protocols for English-speaking individuals, as well as dichotic speech material in any language.

Tactile Interface System
A system for indicating a direction to a user is disclosed. The system may include a first unit and a second unit to be worn proximate to a first ear and a second ear of the user respectively. The system may indicate a direction to the user through tactile sensations delivered proximate to the ears of the user by the first and second units. The system may also include microphones to aid in determining the direction of a source of a sound and the system may indicate the determined direction, thereby allowing the user to localize the sound. The system may also function as hearing aids. The system may aid individuals with hearing disabilities by alerting them to the direction of the source of a sound.
SKIN AUDIBLE WATCH FOR ORIENTATION IDENTIFICATION AND AN ORIENTATION IDENTIFICATION METHOD
A skin audible watch for orientation identification includes a dial (1) and a strap (2). A plurality of sound collection modules (3) are arranged along a circumference of the dial (1), and the sound collection modules (3) are sequentially connected with a digital filter (4), an analog-to-digital converter (5), a single-chip microcomputer (6), and a row and column drive module (7); the single-chip microcomputer (6) is also connected with vibration motors (8) and a gyroscope (9); a number of the vibration motors corresponds to a number of orientations; the digital filter (4), analog-to-digital converter, single-chip microcomputer, row and column drive module, the vibration motors and the gyroscope are located inside the dial; the row and column drive module is connected with a current contact pin (12), and a free end of the current contact pin extends out of a surface of the vibration motors.
Light control devices and methods for regional variation of visual information and sampling
Exemplary light control devices and methods provide a regional variation of visual information and sampling (“V-VIS”) of an ocular field of view that improves or stabilizes vision, ameliorates a visual symptom, reduces the rate of vision loss, or reduces the progression of an ophthalmic or neurologic condition, disease, injury or disorder. The V-VIS devices and methods generate a moving aperture effect anterior to a retina that samples and delivers to the retina environmental light from an ocular field of view at a sampling rate between 50 hertz and 50 kilohertz. Certain of these V-VIS devices and methods may be combined with augmented or virtual reality, vision measurement, vision monitoring, or other therapies including, but not limited to, pharmacological, gene, retinal replacement and stem cell therapies.
