An absorbent article comprising an absorbent core comprising an absorbent material between a top core wrap and a back core wrap, said absorbent core having a first and second longitudinal edge and a first and second transverse edge; the absorbent core comprising at least a front and a rear attachment zone, and a bridging zone extending at least partially between said front and rear attachment zone, wherein the bridging zone extends from a first longitudinal portion of the absorbent core to a second longitudinal portion of the absorbent core, such that upon wetting of the absorbent material, a front and rear channel are created at said front and rear attachment zone, respectively, wherein the bridging zone allows a liquid flow between the first longitudinal portion and the second longitudinal portion.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH CHANNELS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THEREOF
An absorbent article comprising an absorbent core comprising an absorbent material between a top core wrap and a back core wrap, said absorbent core having a first and second longitudinal edge and a first and second transverse edge; the absorbent core being comprising at least a first and a second attachment zone, extending next to each other in the direction of the first and/or second transverse edge; wherein in said first and second attachment zone: said top core wrap is attached to said back core wrap along an attachment which extends over a transverse distance which is at least 1 mm; and/or said top core wrap is attached to said back core wrap along a discontinuous attachment at a plurality of locations at a distance of each other; such that upon wetting of the absorbent material, a first and second channel are created at said first and second attachment zone.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH CHANNELS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THEREOF
An absorbent article comprising a liquid pervious topsheet, a liquid impervious backsheet, and an absorbent core comprising an absorbent material between a top core wrap sheet and a back core wrap sheet, said absorbent core being positioned in between said topsheet and said backsheet, said absorbent core having a first and second side edge, a front edge and a rear edge, wherein the absorbent core is provided with a plurality of attachment zones where the top core wrap sheet is attached to the back core wrap sheet, and where substantially no absorbent material is present, wherein, seen in a longitudinal direction of the absorbent core, looking from the front edge to the rear edge, the absorbent core comprises subsequently a first, second, third, fourth and fifth zone.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH CHANNELS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THEREOF
An absorbent article comprising a liquid pervious topsheet, a liquid impervious backsheet, and an absorbent core comprising an absorbent material between a top core wrap sheet and a back core wrap sheet, said absorbent core being positioned in between said topsheet and said backsheet, said absorbent core having a first and second longitudinal edge and a first and second transverse edge, said absorbent core having a first portion (130a), (130b) and a second portion (130b), (130a) on either side of a transverse crotch line (L), wherein the absorbent core is provided with a plurality of attachment zones where the top core wrap sheet is attached to the back core wrap sheet, wherein, measured in a transverse direction, a first maximum distance between a first and a second attachment zone is bigger than a second maximum distance between a third and a fourth attachment zone.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article according to the present invention may comprise an absorbent pad 12, which includes: a wood pulp web 12b and a cotton-based nonwoven fabric 12a laminated on the wood pulp web 12b, wherein the nonwoven fabric 12a includes a valley part continuously formed on a surface thereof in a length direction and arranged at a predetermined interval in a width direction thereof. The absorbent article manufactured according to the present invention includes the absorbent pad layer 12 consisting of the cotton-based nonwoven fabric 12a, wherein the nonwoven fabric 12a includes the valley part continuously formed in the length direction and arranged at a predetermined interval in the width direction on the surface of the nonwoven fabric 12a in order to form channels C in the length direction of the absorbent pad 12, thereby effectively preventing leakage of the menstrual fluid or urine. Further, the absorbent article according to the present invention includes the wood pulp web 12b as well as the cotton-based nonwoven fabric 12a in the absorbent pad 12, thus to rapidly absorb the menstrual fluid or urine and safely keep the same therein.
Flexible absorbent pad
A flexible absorbent pad has a dry thickness of between 2 mm and 10 mm and a difference in flexural-resistance between the dry state and the wet state of an absorbent center zone of the absorbent pad of less than 100 grams-force. The absorbent core of the pad may include an airlaid, a foam, or a fibrous staple filament. The absorbent core of the absorbent pad may be corrugated, such as with flexure hinges, in which case adhesive is applied to the backsheet of the absorbent pad in a pattern that leaves the flexure hinges devoid of adhesive so that the backsheet is attached to the absorbent core in a manner that does not impede the flexing of the flexure hinges.
BLADDER CONTROL ARTICLE FOR LEAKAGE CESSATION
Disposable absorbent articles suitable for providing bladder leakage cessation for females that experience urinary incontinence may comprise a primary sheet, a secondary sheet, and an absorbent sheet disposed between the primary and secondary sheet. The four-sided primary and secondary sheets each may include four edges, whereby each edge having a selvedge. The absorbent sheet may further include a plurality of macrofolds folded in a counter direction to the primary sheet length and the secondary sheet length. The selvedge edges of the primary sheet and the secondary sheet may couple together around the absorbent sheet to form a pillow package. With the proper placement of the pillow package, bladder leakage can be stopped and mitigated. The article can exhibit an article length and width from about 38 mm to about 50 mm.
Absorbent articles having substrates having zonal treatments
The present disclosure is directed, in part, to absorbent article comprising a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, a lateral axis defining a front region on a first side of the lateral axis and a back region on a second side of the lateral axis, and an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the liquid permeable topsheet and the liquid impermeable backsheet. The liquid permeable topsheet may comprise a first zone situated primarily in the front region and having a substantially transferrable chemical treatment and a second zone situated primarily in the back region and having the substantially transferrable chemical treatment. A basis weight of the substantially transferrable chemical treatment may be greater in the second zone than in the first zone.
