The therapy device includes a control unit coupled to the pad. The control unit is configured to provide temperature therapy to the skin surface of the user and provide vibration therapy to the skin surface of the user. The pad includes a coupling connector configured to removably couple the control unit. The pad can include a heat generation module comprising a resistive wire and a heat spreader. The pad can include one or more electrical stimulation modules, wherein each electrical stimulation module comprises a conductor and a pad. The pad includes a temperature sensor coupled to the heat generation module. The adhesive layer can be coupled to the heat spreader.
CLINICAL GARMENT WITH A CONVECTIVE DEVICE
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a warming device that includes a clinical garment and a first pneumatic convective device. The clinical garment includes an inner surface for facing the patient and having an inner surface area. The clinical garment has a hemline and forms a longitudinal axis. The first pneumatic convective device can have an air-permeable layer having a pneumatic surface area, the pneumatic surface area is at least 25% of the inner surface area in a deployed state. The warming device can include a first inlet for admitting a stream of pressurized, warmed air into the first pneumatic convective device. The second end of the first pneumatic convective device extends past the hemline when in the deployed state, and, when the first pneumatic convective device is in a folded state, the second end extends no greater than 3 inches past the hemline.
TEXTILE-TYPE DRY ELECTRODE PLATE
The present disclosure discloses a textile-type multi-channel high-sensitivity sensing dry electrode plate including a body, a conductive cloth and at least one electrode connection part. The body is a sheet-shaped body. The conductive cloth is arranged on one side of the body. The conductive cloth includes at least one electrode part. The electrode connection part is arranged on the body, through the body and electrically connected to the electrode part of the conductive cloth. Moreover, the electrode connection part transmits currents onto the conductive cloth, so that the electrode part of the conductive cloth generates an effect of an electrotherapy or a thermotherapy, or both the electrotherapy and the thermotherapy simultaneously. The electrode part receives physiological electric signals transmitted by a human body and transmits the physiological electric signals back to an apparatus through the electrode connection part to perform a physiological measurement.
APPARATUS FOR SEALING AND COUPLING MATERIAL TO A BODY
A bandage-type apparatus includes a skin condition compartment that is adhered to cover a skin condition with leak-proof adhesive surrounding the compartment that attaches to skin adjacent the skin condition and with a non-adhesive material of the compartment covering the skin condition. A liquid pouch or container with a releasable liquid is coupled to the skin condition compartment and configured for the liquid, such as saline solution, to be released into the compartment to provide a bath or soak in the leak-proof, body-adhered skin condition compartment to provide treatment or relief to the skin condition, such as a sore nipple of a breastfeeding mother.
UNIVERSAL WRAP FOR SECURING A THERMAL PACK
A system and method for providing a universal wrap that can apply a thermal pack to many different regions of a patient's body. The universal wrap is provided in a standardized form. The medical provider is provided with options to modify the standardized form in order to adapt the wrap to many different applications.
Medical Pad And System For Thermotherapy
An improved medical pad for contact thermal exchange with a patient includes a fluid circulation layer for containing a thermal exchange fluid circulatable therethrough, a first port and a second port for circulating the thermal exchange fluid in to and out of the fluid circulation layer, and a hydrogel layer interconnected to and extending across one side of the fluid circulation layer to define an adhesive surface for adherence to a patient's skin. The hydrogel layer can include an ultraviolet light-cured composition with a cross-linking copolymer, water, and glycerol. The hydrogel layer is provided to have a thermal conductivity of at least about 1.9 ca//hr-cm-° C.
HEAT GENERATION TOOL
This invention provides a heating tool that is capable of significantly suppressing a reduction of an active ingredient contained in an adhesive layer. More specifically, the invention provides a heating tool comprising an exothermic composition containing an oxidation accelerator, an oxidizable metal powder, and water; an active ingredient-containing adhesive layer; and a vapor deposition layer, the exothermic composition being housed in an air-permeable container bag, the vapor deposition layer being disposed between the container bag and the adhesive layer.
COOLING PACK FOR HEAD PROTECTOR
Disclosed is a cooling pack for a head including an outer cover fixed at an inside of the head protector. The outer cover adheres to a top of a human body, a refrigerant is embedded in the outer cover, and a plurality of fixers are coupled to the outer cover. The fixers are attachable to or detachable from the head protector, and the refrigerant is formed of a polyester polymer powder.
Array Of Cutaneous Patches For Delivery And Heating Of Personal Care Products
An array of heating patches for placement on the skin, especially the skin of the face. Each patch has a heating circuit incorporated therein, and the patches are electrically connected to each other in series and/or parallel. Electrical energy, and optionally, digital information, may be supplied to the patches through one or more cables that originate in an appropriate electrical connector. Each patch has two layers; a disposable layer and a reusable layer.
PAD, METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING THERMOTHERAPY AT INTRAVASCULAR CATHETER ADMINISTRATION SITE
An intravascular catheter site pad is provided for thermal exchange (e.g. cooling) adjacent to a catheter introduction site (e.g. a catheter for the administration of a chemotherapeutic agent). The pad includes an opening defined by an opening edge that may be positioned about the catheter introduction site. The pad may further include a fluid containing layer and an inlet port and an outlet port for circulating fluid (e.g. cooled fluid) through the pad. The pad may be fluidly interconnected to a fluid conditioning unit to circulate fluid through the pad under negative pressure.
