CLINICAL GARMENT WITH A CONVECTIVE DEVICE
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a warming device that includes a clinical garment and a first pneumatic convective device. The clinical garment includes an inner surface for facing the patient and having an inner surface area. The clinical garment has a hemline and forms a longitudinal axis. The first pneumatic convective device can have an air-permeable layer having a pneumatic surface area, the pneumatic surface area is at least 25% of the inner surface area in a deployed state. The warming device can include a first inlet for admitting a stream of pressurized, warmed air into the first pneumatic convective device. The second end of the first pneumatic convective device extends past the hemline when in the deployed state, and, when the first pneumatic convective device is in a folded state, the second end extends no greater than 3 inches past the hemline.
Therapeutic garment
A therapeutic garment for cooling an arm of a user includes a vest that is configured to position over a torso of the user. A sleeve is coupled to and extends from a circumference of an armhole of the vest so that the sleeve is configured to insert the arm of the user. The sleeve comprises an inner layer that is coupled to an outer layer so that the inner layer and the outer layer define an interior space. The interior space extends from a cuff of the sleeve to the armhole. An orifice is positioned in the outer layer proximate to the armhole. The orifice is configured to selectively insert a cooling material into the interior space, positioning the cooling material to cool the arm of the user. A closure is coupled to the outer layer proximate to the orifice and is positioned to selectively and sealably close the orifice.
SYSTEM AND APPARATUS TO APPLY VIBRATION, THERMAL AND COMPRESSIVE THERAPY
A therapeutic device for applying vibration, thermal and compressive therapy is disclosed. According to one embodiment, the device has a top layer and a bottom layer adapted to contact a body surface of a user. The device further includes a therapeutic element disposed between the top layer and the bottom layer, the therapeutic element including a vibration component, a thermal component, and a compression component, where, upon activation of the therapeutic element: (i) the vibration component applies a vibration force, (ii) the thermal component applies a thermal therapy, and (iii) the compression component applies a compressive force.
TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED AND VIBRATING THERAPEUTIC STRAP ASSEMBLY
A wearable temperature control assembly includes a temperature control module comprising a contact and a thermal element configured to heat or cool the contact. The assembly also includes a primary strap configured to receive the temperature control module and secure the contact against a subject. The assembly also includes a secondary strap configured to be connected to the primary strap. The secondary strap is configured to provide adjustment of a pressure between the contact and the subject when the primary strap secures the contact to the subject.
Weighted sleep mask
A sleep mask is created comprising a sleep mask cover that can accommodate a weighted mask component and a thermal mask component. The sleep mask cover may include a fastening mechanism at the opening which may be removably engaged or disengaged to disable or enable, respectively, access to the opening for insertion of the weighted mask component and the thermal mask component. The weighted mask component may include a set of eye panels that are devoid of weight material to prevent unwanted pressure on a human user's eyes when the sleep mask is worn around the head of a human user. Further, the weighted mask component may include a pocket for insertion of the thermal mask component.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TREATMENT OF USER'S EAR
A securing device is shown and describe for positioning on a user's head. The securing device may be used to couple or attach an insert to the user's head in a desired position.
UNIVERSAL WRAP FOR SECURING A THERMAL PACK
A system and method for providing a universal wrap that can apply a thermal pack to many different regions of a patient's body. The universal wrap is provided in a standardized form. The medical provider is provided with options to modify the standardized form in order to adapt the wrap to many different applications.
Mobile cold therapy device
A mobile, self-contained cold therapy device having a container including an internal liquid or ice water tank, air and water pumps for driving air and water to a cold therapy pad with internal air and water bladders, wherein the pad is worn on an injured region of a user. The device includes an electronic controller for controlling air and water flow to and from the bladders, and a holder for supporting the container and worn on the user's body for portable, hands-free mobility while receiving cold therapy. Nipples are incorporated into a thermal conduction surface of the pad and reciprocated into the user's injured region by an air bladder to further reduce edema.
Modular Therapeutic Eye Mask
A modular therapeutic eye mask is an apparatus that is used to help the user to sleep naturally and comfortably while receiving various therapeutic benefits. To do so, the apparatus includes a mask body, a support band, and a plurality of therapeutic inserts. The mask body is designed to be comfortably worn around the user's eyes to completely block any light from the surroundings. The mask body is also designed to retain the plurality of therapeutic inserts as well as other mask accessories that help the user to naturally sleep. The support band is designed to comfortably position the mask body and the plurality of therapeutic inserts retained within the mask body against the user's face. The plurality of therapeutic inserts includes several therapeutic inserts that provide various therapeutical benefits when at least one therapeutic insert is used with the mask body while the user is resting.
TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED AND VIBRATING THERAPEUTIC GARMENT
A temperature controllable wrap assembly that includes a wrap portion configured to be worn around a user’s body part, and at least a first temperature control module positioned on the wrap portion. The first temperature control module includes a housing, a controllable temperature element, a spreader member and at least a first finger spreader pivotably attached to the spreader member. The lower surface of the spreader member is positioned to contact the user’s body part. The controllable temperature element is configured to transfer thermal energy to an upper surface of the spreader member, and the spreader member is configured to conduct thermal energy to the first finger spreader.
