HELMET INCLUDING AIR CIRCULATION SYSTEM
A helmet includes a mask and an air circulation system mounted on the mask, the air circulation system comprising an air blower and a processing system, electronically coupled to the air blower, the processing system comprising a controller, wherein the controller is to receive a first signal representing a light intensity detected by a photo sensor, determine initialization of a welding gun in view of the first signal, and responsive to determine the initialization of the welding gun, issue a first instruction to start an operation of the air blower.
Solar-Powered Air Delivery System for Welder's Mask
A solar powered air delivery system for a welder's mask comprises a welder's mask having a pneumatic tube terminating at an open first end within the welder's mask and terminating at a second open end about a belt. A pair of air filters and battery operated blower motor are secured to the belt and pulls air in a first direction into the second open end and out the first open end. The battery is charged by means of a solar cell disposed upon a face of the welder's mask being in electrical communication with the battery.
Magnetic quick connect
A magnetic quick connect for a fluid delivery system includes a male coupling member and a female coupling member. The male coupling member defines a first outer fluid communication path and includes a first magnetic material. A first inner member is disposed within the first outer fluid communication path and defines a first inner communication path. The female coupling member defines a second outer fluid communication path and includes a second magnetic material. A second inner member is disposed within the second outer fluid communication path and defines a second inner communication path. The male and female coupling members are detachably held together by an attractive force between the first and second magnetic materials such that the first and second outer communication paths are held in fluid communication, and the first and second inner communication paths are held in fluid communication.
OXYGEN ENRICHMENT DURING CORNEAL COLLAGEN CROSSLINKING
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus relating to corneal collagen crosslinking (CXL). In some embodiments, disclosed methods and apparatus provide boosted oxygen diffusion into corneal stroma and make possible efficacious accelerated CXL using a non-contact apparatus that reduces use of disposable supplies. In some embodiments, increased atmospheric oxygen concentration around a corneal outer surface occurs, which increases oxygen diffusion into stroma. Accordingly, in some embodiments, increased CXL efficacy occurs as well as reduced overall procedure time.
Protective headwear with airflow
In one aspect, a protective headwear is provided and includes an outer shell, a first shell duct coupled to the outer shell and including a first exhaust port, and a second shell duct coupled to the outer shell and spaced apart from the first shell duct. The second shell duct includes a second exhaust port. The protective headwear also includes a manifold positioned externally of the outer shell and configured to divert airflow into at least a first portion of airflow and a second portion of airflow. The manifold includes a first diversion member coupled to and in fluid communication with the first shell duct to provide the first portion of airflow to the first shell duct, and a second diversion member coupled to and in fluid communication with the second shell duct to provide the second portion of airflow to the second shell duct.
Protective headwear with airflow
In one aspect, a protective headwear is provided and includes a headgear, an outer shell, a duct and a manifold. The headgear is configured to engage a wearer's head and at least partially support the protective headwear on a wearer's head. The headgear includes a front, a rear opposite the front, a right side, and a left side opposite the right side. The outer shell is coupled to the headgear at a coupling location and includes a shield positioned to the front of the headgear. The duct is at least partially coupled to and at least partially positioned in an interior of the outer shell. The duct is located below the coupling location. The manifold is positioned to the rear of the headgear and configured to divert airflow into at least a first portion of airflow and a second portion of airflow
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR HEAD PROTECTION AND PROVIDING AIR FLOW
Example hard hat adapters include: a coupling mechanism to removably couple the hard hat adapter to a hard hat; an upper arm configured to removably couple to an outer face shield and an inner face shield; and a lower arm configured to removably couple to a blower shell, wherein the outer face shield and the inner face shield are configured to removably couple to the hard hat adapter at a first pivot point of the hard hat adapter.
Method and apparatus for head protection and providing air flow
Provided is a head protection device with multiple face shields, where the head protection device is configured to be able to provide a flow of air to a user of the head protection device. The air flow may be provided by an external air providing device.
FACE SHIELD WITH POWERED AIR PURIFYING RESPIRATOR AND METHODS OF USE
Air purifying respirator for user's having a face shield configured to shield the user's face from splatter, a head strap configured to encircle at least a portion of the users head, said head strap configured to support the face shield, at least one fan, and a fan housing positioned proximate an upper edge of the face shield, said fan housing configured to support said fan, a filter media positioned on an outer perimeter flange of the fan housing to maximizing a surface area of said filter media, a face shroud connected to a perimeter of the face shield, the face shroud configured to provide a seal between the face shield and the user's face and thus, to facilitate pulling the air through the filter media, and the fan pushes the filtered air from said fan housing to the user between said face shield and the user's face.
