Spine assisting table
The invention relates to an adjustable table for use while laying in a prone position on a body section cushion and includes a knee cushion for leg support. A headrest is provided for securing the head while lying face down, along with a work platform. A detachable foot platform is also provided.
Standing assistance device and method
A standing assistance device can help a user in need of standing assistance to use their upper body weight to push down on a plunger portion of the device to provide upward lifting force to a platform. Therefore, when a user kneels on the platform and leans down on the plunger, the downward leaning force is converted into upward lifting force to help a user rise to a standing position. The plunger can take the form of a horizontal crossbar. The platform can be linked to the plunger with a gearing mechanism to transfer the downward force on the plunger to upward lifting force on the platform. The device does not need electric motors and should be easy to carry around.

Inverted pendulum type vehicle
An electric locomotion apparatus including a dynamically stabilized vehicle including two wheels, the vehicle including a pivot arranged along a longitudinal axis and rotatable about the longitudinal axis. The pivot is configured to transfer a steering control to the wheels. A seat is positioned on the vehicle, wherein the seat is configured to accommodate a user affected by motor disability of the lower limbs, the seat being tiltable sideways by a lateral shift of the user's weight. The locomotion apparatus further includes one or more transmission device arranged between the seat and the pivot, the transmission device configured to transfer a tilting movement of the seat to the pivot. A first rod and a second rod can be centrally pivoted together, the second rod pivotally fixed to the vehicle, and the seat being associated with a second end of the first rod.
MOTORIZED WHEELCHAIR FOR IMPROVED MOBILITY
A wheelchair assembly that enables an occupant to rotate their self from the seating position to the prone or kneeling prone position so that the occupant may use their arms to better reach and grasp without the aid of another person.
Inverted Pendulum Type Vehicle
Electric locomotion apparatus comprising: a dynamically stabilized vehicle having two wheels; said vehicle comprising a bar to allow said vehicle to steer on the basis of its rotation; characterized in that it comprises first and second support means of an ergonomic seat that are fixed to said vehicle; said first means being connected to said bar, so that a user's body movements to the right or to the left correspond to torsions of said bar and consequently allow said vehicle to steer.
