Robot
Provided is a robot. The robot includes a main body provided with a traveling wheel and a traveling motor for rotating the traveling wheel, a seating body including a seat body and disposed above the main body, a seat body actuator for operating the seat body, a plurality of accessories selectively mounted on an accessory mounting portion disposed on at least one of the main body or the seating body, and a processor for controlling the traveling motor and the seat body actuator based on a type of accessory mounted on the accessory mounting portion.
WHEELCHAIR
A wheelchair having a seat assembly and a base assembly. The base assembly includes a central frame, rear wheels, and leg assemblies. The leg assemblies are movable between at least a first position and a second position, which enables the leg assemblies to be stowed away when not in use. The seat assembly includes a seat component, a backrest component, and opposing side structures. The backrest component is connected to, and pivotable about, the side structures such that it may be folded down for storage or reclined for more comfortable sitting. The side structures include adjustable armrest assemblies that enable vertical adjustments of the armrests.
Retractable storage devices
A retractable storage device for an armrest of a chair, including a vertically extending arm assembly including a first distal end and a second distal end, a horizontally extending arm assembly including a first distal end and a second distal end, a middle connector, and a storage container. The second distal end of the vertically extending arm assembly is pivotally secured to the middle connector, and the first distal end of the horizontally extending arm assembly is pivotally secured to the middle connector. The retractable storage device is moveable between a stowed position and a raised position. The storage container is coupled to the second distal end of the horizontally extending arm assembly, where the storage container is stowed beneath the armrest when the retractable storage device is moved to the stowed position.
Mobile patient support chair
A mobile patient support chair to assist in bathing of a patient by a carer with little or no upper body strength comprises a chair pivotally mounted in a support frame comprised of four legs each ending in a wheel. The chair frame comprises groups of support panels which can be locked in support positions and rotated through 90 degrees to provide access to the patient's legs, buttocks and back. Additionally the chair is balanced to allow easy rotation into a fully backwards lying position, and a fully forward lying position. In the fully forward lying position flexible retaining strips are placed across the patient to retain them in place. Additionally the wheels may be step-climbing wheels to assist in climbing small steps found in bathroom entrances and shower cubicles.
Transfer device
Provided is a transfer device capable of moving a care receiver who has difficulty in walking by himself/herself to a desired place in a comfortable posture. The transfer device is capable of moving a care receiver by a care giver. The transfer device includes: a front wheel and a rear wheel; a support body which supports an upper body of the care receiver; a leg guide portion which is brought into contact with lower leg front surfaces of the care receiver and is inclinable frontward from an approximately vertical state; and a foot placing portion on which soles of the care receiver are placed; a rear wheel advancing and retracting mechanism configured to move the rear wheel rearward in an interlocking manner with frontward inclining of the leg guide portion.
Folding Human Mobility Device
A conveyance to carry humans, such as a wheelchair, is described having levers on each side of the wheelchair that are manually moved forward and backward to propel the conveyance. The user is able to shift into forward, reverse or neutral, brake, and change mechanical advantage (gear ratio), all this without removing the user's hands from the drive levers.
Support leg for human mobility device
A conveyance to carry humans, such as a wheelchair, is described having levers on each side of the wheelchair that are manually moved forward and backward to propel the conveyance. The user is able to shift into forward, reverse or neutral, brake, and change mechanical advantage (gear ratio), all this without removing the user's hands from the drive levers.
Robot
Provided is a robot including a main body including a traveling wheel, an accessory mounting portion and an opening, the opening being spaced apart from the accessory mounting portion, a rear sensor which is accommodated in the opening and facing a rear of the robot to sense outside of the main body, and an accessory including a mounter mounted on the accessory mounting portion and a supporter for supporting an article.
Toilet with lid for sealing bowl for analysis and washing
An analytical toilet comprising a bowl for receiving excreta from a user; and a lid adapted to cover the bowl and form an airtight seal between the bowl and the lid forming a sealed chamber; and at least one fluid outlet for cleaning the bowl is disclosed.
External structural brace apparatus
An external structural brace apparatus for supporting a user in a semi standing position on a surface includes first and second support extension beams that to attach to the surface, also included is a channel having a base with first and second legs, wherein the first and second legs extend in the same direction from opposing sides of the base, the first leg is affixed to the first support structure and the second leg is affixed to the second support structure, the channel can be lockably positioned along the first and second beams. In addition, a saddle seat with a midpoint extension portion, the saddle is attached between the first and second legs and positioned such that the midpoint extension extends opposite of the base, wherein operationally the user partially rests their buttocks on the saddle and leans their back against the base to assume a semi supported standing posture.
