Massage apparatus and massage method
A massage apparatus includes a sheet member attachable to a skin of a body, and a pressure unit that presses the skin from the sheet member. The sheet member is elastic and thermoplastic such that the sheet member is hardened at a temperature of the skin and is softened at a predetermined temperate different from the temperature of the skin. The sheet member has one or more indications indicating an area of the skin to which the sheet member is to be attached. The pressure unit applies a pressure to the skin so as to provide a predetermined pressure distribution in which positions of the pressure distribution are defined with reference to one or more positions on the body in a situation in which the sheet member is attached to the area.
ELECTROMECHANICAL ROBOTIC MANIPULANDUM DEVICE
An electromechanical manipulandum device, comprising: a drive system comprising a plurality of electrical motors; an arm driveable by the drive system and having three degrees-of-freedom of motion; a capstan transmission for transmitting actuating force from the drive system to the arm; an end-effector coupled to the arm, the end-effector configured to engage a user and having at least three degrees-of-freedom of rotational motion; and a control system for controlling the drive system such as to provide a force to the end-effector in a selected direction.
System and method for generating pressure point maps based on remote-controlled haptic-interactions
System and method for providing remotely guided physical treatment are disclosed. A computing device is communicably coupled to a therapeutic robot and a remote guidance device. The computing device receives full-body images of a treatment subject. The computing device generates a plurality of key physical points for the treatment subject by identifying a three-dimensional human body template that corresponds to the shape and posture parameters of the treatment subject and fitting the identified first three-dimensional human body template to the full-body images of the treatment subject. The fitting causes adjustments to locations of the corresponding set of key physical points of the first three-dimensional human body template. The adjusted locations of the corresponding set of key physical points of the first three-dimensional human body template are provided to the guidance device as basis for a treatment procedure that is specified by the treatment guidance provider during the physical treatment session.
HIP EXOSKELETON
An exoskeleton wearable on a body of a human having two legs, the exoskeleton comprising a first HAA joint and a second HAA joint to assist the human with leg abduction and adduction movements that are parallel to a frontal plane, each of the first and the second HAA joints having an actuator, each actuator including a motor and a clutch. The exoskeleton further comprises a sensor system for measuring a combined center of mass of the human and the exoskeleton in the frontal plane and a step width of the human in the frontal plane. The exoskeleton further comprises a controller that outputs adjustment angles for each of the first and the second HAA joints based on the center of mass and the step width. The first and the second HAA joints are respectively rotated based on the respective output adjustment angles.
MASSAGE CONTROL METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE IMPLEMENTING MASSAGE CONTROL METHOD
A massage control method includes obtaining three-dimensional parameter data of a user, determining acupuncture points, a position of a first part, and a position of a second part of the user according to the three-dimensional parameter data, adjusting a position of a massage device according to the three-dimensional parameter data so that the position of the massage device corresponds to the three-dimensional parameter data, and aligning at least one massage component of the massage device with the acupuncture points according to the positions of the first part and the second part of the user.
HANDHELD SYSTEM OF AUTOMATIC ACUPOINT STIMULATION
A handheld system of automatic acupoint stimulation has a case, a camera unit, a storage unit, a human-machine-interface (HMI) unit, a processing unit, an acupoint recognizing unit, and an acupoint stimulating unit. The case has an accommodating space and a handle portion. The camera unit is to capture an image from a body part of a user. The storage unit is to store multiple predetermined acupoint data. The HMI unit is to receive an input signal. The processing unit searches for at least one predetermined acupoint datum that is corresponding to the input signal. The acupoint recognizing unit is to receive the at least one predetermined acupoint datum and obtain a reference length and a beginning basis to locate the acupoint. The acupoint stimulating unit is to stimulate the acupoint of the user located by the acupoint recognizing unit.
UPPER LIMB FUNCTION ASSESSMENT DEVICE AND USE METHOD THEREOF AND UPPER LIMB REHABILITATION TRAINING SYSTEM AND USE METHOD THEREOF
The present invention provides an upper limb function assessment device and the use method thereof and an upper limb rehabilitation training system and the use method thereof, wherein the upper limb function assessment device includes a display, a depth camera and a central processor, the depth camera is used to capture a user's motion, the display is used to display motion demonstration and the user's motion, and the central processor is connected to the display and the depth camera, respectively. The present invention captures the user's motion precisely with the depth camera, which makes the obtained data more accurate and objective, and also facilitates recording and storage of the obtained data. The central processor determines whether the completion of the motion meets the requirements in assessment scales, allowing the user to come up with an assessment report on his own without requiring a lot of assistance from a physician.
ELECTRICALLY STIMULATED RESPIRATORY ASSISTANCE COMPONENTS
A respiratory assistance component is disclosed that changes shape when an electrical charge is provided. The amount of electrical charge that is applied may be based on values, characteristics, or user controlled parameters of the respiratory assistance system. The component may be all or part of a patient interface, a tube, a flow generator, and/or a sleep mat.
ADJUSTABLE BACK PLATE FOR MECHANICAL COMPRESSION DEVICE
Examples of the disclosure are directed to adjustable back plates or backboards for a mechanical compression device to accommodate different patient sizes and/or for ease of storage. Examples of the disclosure includes back plates that can be folded, pieced together, or otherwise have a variable distance between connectors that attach to legs of a chest compression device. Examples also include back plates which may have two sides, such as an adult patient side and a pediatric patient side, to accommodate different patient sizes.
Leg care apparatus and method for controlling the same
A leg care apparatus includes a main body configured to provide an action space in which a leg is accommodated and at least one action space adjustment module configured to adjust a size of the action space. Accordingly, a leg may be cared to fit a size and length of the user's leg.
