Multipurpose article for bodily acupressure and massage
A bodily acupressure and massage article includes: a main member defined by an elongate bottom, an arched top formed in accordance with a top arc radius, a substantially flat front, a substantially flat rear, and arched sides each formed in accordance with a side arc radius and extending from the arched top; a first protrusion downwardly, outwardly extending from a first end of the elongate bottom and semi-circularly formed in accordance with a first protrusion arc radius; and a second protrusion downwardly, outwardly extending from a second end of the elongate bottom and semi-circularly formed in accordance with a second protrusion arc radius, where the top arc radius is larger than the respective side arc radiuses, and the side arc radiuses are each larger than the respective first and second protrusion arc radiuses.
INSTRUMENT FOR ASSISTED SOFT TISSUE MOBILIZATION
An instrument for assisted soft tissue mobilization including a graspable central core and defines a central axis, a sagittal plane perpendicular to the central axis, a longitudinal plane passing through the central axis and perpendicular to the sagittal plane, a first end spaced from the sagittal plane a second end opposite the first end with respect to the sagittal plane, and at least one arm protruding from one of the ends and defining a contouring configured to perform soft tissue mobilization, wherein the central core includes an ellipsoidal bulb configured to allow an operator to grasp the central core from different angles with respect to the central axis.
ANIMAL MASSAGER
An animal massager for stimulating a pet animal, such as a house cat, is disclosed. In a particular version, the animal massager is ideally suited to gently engage, massage, and stimulate cat whiskers and the surrounding tissue located at the base of the whiskers by contacting the animal with one or more protrusions and surfaces. In a version, the animal massager generally comprises an elongated handle and a head portion affixed to an end of the elongated handle. The head portion may include a lateral extending protrusion, a rear continuous surface, and a pair of longitudinally extending protrusions. The lateral extending protrusion, rear continuous surface, and pair of longitudinally extending protrusions provide contact points and surfaces for rubbing or massaging multiple areas of the animal, particularly suited to massage the head and face area of a cat.
Chain mail mesh and process for reducing stress
A chain mail mesh comprising interconnecting, polygonal links suitably interconnected to define a sheet having each of the interconnecting, polygonal links having at least one degree of freedom of movement in at least one direction with respect to its neighbouring polygonal links wherein each of the interconnecting, polygonal links, interconnected to at least one neighbouring interconnecting polygonal link, combine to form an operative upper surface and an operative lower surface of the sheet, and wherein at least a portion of at least one of the operative upper surface and the operative lower surface of the sheet generally feels smooth with gaps, which produce a calming or pleasing effect when contacted with or moved over, or combinedly contacted with and moved over a human's body portion which being apt to sense of touch. The sheet has a predetermined drape coefficient, nonlinear motion, and is capable of providing relief in stress or pleasure when a human employs the same.
Method for non-surgical correction of joint deformity
A method of non-surgical correction of joint deformity using a therapy stimulator machine that includes a first and second handheld probe electrode; using the hand held probe electrodes with water to apply pressure to locations and wiggle the probe electrodes around the joint to stimulate directing toxic waste to the blood circulatory system of the patient.
Body massaging apparatus
A self-operated, or therapist assisted, apparatus particularly adapted for massaging a user's body parts affected by repetitive strain injuries such as tendinitis and carpal tunnel syndrome, comprises two clamping arms joined at a base end and provided with an opening at the other end. Flexible massaging members are mounted on opposite medial sections of the arms. A body part may be placed between the two arms of the device to be acted upon by the massaging members, whereby the body part is adjustably clamped between the pair of massaging members and massaged by translating and rotating movements of the body part along an axis perpendicular to the mounting axes of the massaging members. Alternatively, one of the arms of the apparatus may be separated from the apparatus and used independently to massage body parts that otherwise would not fit between the arms of the apparatus.
SUCTION ASSEMBLY
A suction assembly is described. The suction assembly includes a therapy unit with a body that can apply a supplemental therapy to a skin surface. The suction assembly also includes a cup that can be removably connected to the therapy unit and that can interface with a skin surface to define a chamber within the cup. A pump of the therapy unit can reduce a pressure within the chamber to draw the skin surface into the chamber in a cupping therapy. In response to the skin surface being drawn into the chamber, the body can move in a longitudinal direction to maintain contact with the skin surface. A wall of the cup is translucent and the suction assembly is dimensioned to provide a user with a view into the chamber through the wall of the cup that is substantially unobstructed by the housing.
MASSAGE APPLICATOR
A massage applicator for massaging cream-type fluids into the skin, provided with an end wall with a massage region, on which massage elevations are provided. The end wall is penetrated by at least one outlet channel for the cream-type fluid. The massage applicator is provided with suitable markings in the massage region for measuring the fluid to be used, the applicator is provided with a cover which can be blocked in an open position and/or secured in a closed position, and an assembly of two valves is used in order to secure against unintentional discharge.
Massage and Scrub Device
Massage devices and back scratchers have had a long history in our civilization, which have led to the creation of many different deviations of the home use massage stick. One truth behind each and every massage stick design is that there has been an optimal distance between the massage object of the “head” of the massage device and the beginning of the curve of the “head” portion that has never been documented before. This patent can merge and create a massage tool and a cane into a single package. The massage stick can be a single entity or have a detachable shaft for the cane. The advantages of this patent allow manufacturers to design an effective massage stick and create a dual purpose massage stick that can act as a cane for the elderly to move around with, and allow easy access to the massage stick when they are seated.
Portable therapeutic apparatus
A portable therapeutic apparatus is disclosed. The portable therapeutic apparatus may include a handle, a protrusion, a resistance element, and an adjustment element attached to the handle. The handle may include a first slot that houses the resistance element. The protrusion may include an indentation. The resistance element may include an elastic element.
