HOUSING FOR A FLEXIBLE CONTAINER
An arrangement includes a housing and a flexible container. The flexible container is arranged in the housing and filled with a medicine or another liquid which occurs in a pharmaceutical production process. The housing is at least partially lined with an elastic foam configured to compensate for an increase in volume of the flexible container that occurs upon freezing.
Device for chilling insulin in a travel mug
A device for use with a travel mug for storing and chilling at least one vial is disclosed. The device generally comprises at least a first cylindrical portion having a top end and a bottom end, wherein the top end comprises at least one recessed portion for storing the at least one vial and a second cylindrical portion having a top end and a bottom end. In one embodiment, the device comprises a rod having a first end connected to the bottom end of the first cylindrical portion, and a second end connected to the top end of the second cylindrical portion.
Medical product transportation and storage enclosure with directed cooling and heating
A medical fluid storage and transportation enclosure can include a housing, a chamber, an exhaust duct, an inlet duct, and a valve. The housing can include walls defining a cavity, where the cavity can be configured to receive a medical product therein. The chamber can be adjacent to the cavity and can be configured to exchange heat with the cavity. The valve can be located in the inlet duct, where the valve can be movable in response to an air.
STORAGE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STORING AND TRANSPORTING MEDICAMENT
A storage system for storing a drug includes a container, at least one passive cooling system, and an active cooling system. The container includes an interior volume to accommodate at least one drug. The at least one passive cooling system is disposed within the container and includes a phase change material. The active cooling system is operably coupled with the container and, when in an operational mode, maintains a desired temperature within the interior volume of the container.
Immunotherapy treatment kit and method of using the same
The invention generally relates to medical kits, e.g., an immunotherapy treatment and testing kits, and more particularly to a method of using the kits and system for treating allergies.
Insulin storage and dispensing system
An insulin storage and dispensing system for housing a standard insulin bottle and securely keeping the bottle in place when using a syringe to access the port on the top of the bottle to fill the syringe while providing accessibility in the form of a convenient mounting assembly for mounting on a refrigerator, an interior cabinet door or wall.
SENSOR CONTAINER FOR MOUNTING A TEMPERATURE SENSOR, AND ASSOCIATED REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator for storing products includes a sensor container configured to position at least one temperature sensor within a refrigerated interior in a cabinet of the refrigerator. The sensor container includes a main body portion enclosing a hollow interior space configured to receive a ballast liquid, and a plurality of dry wells which each extend generally horizontally between a closed end within the hollow interior space and an open end. The temperature sensors positioned in the dry wells are surrounded by ballast liquid but are not in direct contact with refrigerated air within the cabinet or the ballast liquid. The temperature measurements therefore approximate the thermal response of products (such as blood) stored in the cabinet without necessitating submersible sensors or a risk of liquid leaks. The temperature measurements may be sent to elements such as a chart recorder, and a display and alarm device associated with the refrigerator.
Rapid freezing, storage, transport, and thawing system for containers of biopharmaceutical products
A system for freezing, storing, transporting, and thawing biopharmaceutical product, the system including a stationary equipment and one or more movable pallet, each pallet being configured to carry one or more container units, each containing biopharmaceutical product, the stationary equipment including a gas circulating unit configured to cause a circulation of cold gas and/or warm gas, from a pull inlet toward a blow outlet, wherein there is provided at least a first side plenum having one or more gas conveying channel therein, configured to be fluidly coupled to the blow outlet of the gas circulating unit, the first side plenum having a plurality of outlet ports directed toward an interior volume of the pallet, wherein the gas circulates substantially in a horizontal direction in the interior volume of the pallet.
PORTABLE DEVICE FOR COLD CHAIN STORAGE
Disclosed embodiments include portable devices for cold chain storage and methods of fabricating portable devices for cold chain storage. In an illustrative embodiment, a portable device for cold chain storage includes a container defining therein a storage region. The container includes an inner cylinder, and the storage region is defined coaxially inwardly of the inner cylinder. The inner cylinder includes phase change material disposed therein, and the phase change material is in thermal communication with the storage region. The inner cylinder also includes evaporative coils disposed therein. The evaporative coils are embedded in the phase change material. The container also includes a thermally insulated outer cylinder. An outer wall of the outer cylinder is disposed radially outwardly of an outer wall of the inner cylinder.
CARRY BAG WITH INSULATED MEDICINE COMPARTMENTAND RELATED METHODS
A system may include a mobile wireless device and a carry bag. The carry bag may include a pouch having an opening therein, at least one divider within the pouch defining a medical container compartment and a storage compartment, insulation lining the medical container compartment, a temperature sensor carried by the pouch and configured to monitor temperature within the medical container compartment, a wireless transceiver carried by the pouch, and a processor carried by the pouch and cooperating with the temperature sensor and the wireless transceiver to send temperature data to the mobile wireless device. The mobile wireless communications device may be configured to generate an alert when the temperature within the medical container compartment is outside of safe storage temperature range.
