Stabilization of particles coated with non-amphoteric, quaternizable and water-soluble polymers using a dispersing component
Described herein is an aqueous composition including particles coated with at least one non-amphoteric, quaternizable polymer which is water soluble at 20° C., and at least one dispersing component, where the dispersing component includes a dispersing agent selected from an amphiphilic graft polymer based on water-soluble polyalkylene oxides (A) as a graft base and side chains formed by polymerization of a vinyl ester component (B), the polymer having an average of ≤1 graft site per 50 alkylene oxide units and a mean molar mass M.sub.w of from 3000 to 100 000.
Conditioning Composition
A conditioning composition is free of talc and includes tapioca starch, optionally potato starch, optionally corn starch, at least one anionic surfactant, and optionally at least one amphoteric surfactant, which may be described as a core particle. The conditioning composition may include, or be free of, a coating disposed about at least a portion of the core particle and having a compound chosen from cellulose polymers, anionic or cationic polymers, vinyl polymers, natural polymers, polysaccharides, copolymers thereof, and combinations thereof. The conditioning composition includes from about 0 to about 25 percent by weight of liquid, has a pH of from about 3.5 to about 5 when mixed with water at about 10 wt % and produces a flash foam of less than about 10 ml when contacted with water at a temperature of about 26 to about 30° C. degrees.
COMPOSITION COMPRISING A DISPERSION OF POLYMER PARTICLES IN A NON-AQUEOUS MEDIUM, A CATIONIC POLYMER AND AN ANIONIC POLYMER
The present invention relates to an aqueous composition comprising at least one dispersion of polymer particles in a non-aqueous medium, at least one cationic polymer and at least one anionic polymer. The present invention also relates to a cosmetic treatment process, notably a process for styling keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, using this composition. Finally, the present invention relates to the use of this composition for the cosmetic treatment of keratin fibres, in particular of human keratin fibres such as the hair, and in particular for styling the hair, i.e. for shaping and/or fixing the head of hair.
Coated powders having high photostability
A coated powder comprises (a) particles, and (b) a coating on the surface of the particles including (1) silica moieties, (2) organo oxysilane moieties selected from the group consisting of mono-organo oxysilane moieties, bi-organo oxysilane moieties and tri-organo oxysilane moieties, and (3) poly(dialkyl)siloxane moieties. The amount by weight in SiO.sub.2 equivalents of the organo oxysilane moieties and the silica moieties is at least 0.0625% of the total coated powder weight per m.sup.2/g of the specific surface area of the particle to be coated.
IN VIVO BULKING AGENT, INJECTION COMPRISING SAME, AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention relates to an in-vivo bulking agent which can be used as a medicinal agent for prevention or treatment of at least one disease selected from the group consisting of urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and gastroesophageal reflux or as a filler for use in a plastic surgery procedure, and to a preparation method therefor. The in-vivo bulking agent can exhibit a bulking effect when injected into the body and particularly, is highly biocompatible because a first composition in which silicone particles are coated with a zwitterionic polymer having a surfactant property is introduced into a second composition, whereby the bulking agent can inhibit inflammatory reactions in vivo.
COMPOSITIONS SUITABLE FOR WHITENING ORAL CARE AND OTHER USES
A modified precipitated silica comprising precipitated silica and at least one polymer selected from the group consisting of poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate and poly(vinylphosphonic acid) is useful for the manufacture of peroxide-based whitening oral care compositions having improved stability over time. It is also useful for the manufacture of elastomeric compositions having a performing balance of properties including e.g. high rolling resistance and/or high wear resistance.
Hair coloring composition comprising microcapsules
The present disclosure relates to the field of hair coloring compositions. Described herein is an oxidative hair coloring composition including microcapsules made of a perfumed-oil based core and a polymeric shell. Also described herein are a method for coloring hair and a hair coloring kit.
ORGANIC-INORGANIC COMPOSITE POWDER AND COMPOSITION INCLUDING THE SAME
One aspect of the present disclosure is an organic/inorganic composite powder and a composition including the same in which a coating film on a surface of an inorganic powder is not easily fall off under various conditions such as pH, temperature, physical force, etc., so that has excellent moisture retention and less transferring and allows for natural makeup.
