MATERIALS AND METHODS FOR ENGINEERING CELLS AND USES THEREOF IN IMMUNO-ONCOLOGY
Materials and methods for producing genome-edited cells engineered to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) construct on the cell surface, and materials and methods for genome editing to modulate the expression, function, or activity of one or more immuno-oncology related genes in a cell, and materials and methods for treating a patient using the genome-edited engineered cells.
CHIMERIC ANTIGEN RECEPTORS TARGETING CD70
The disclosure provides CARs (CARs) that specifically bind to CD70. The disclosure further relates to engineered immune cells comprising such CARs, CAR-encoding nucleic acids, and methods of making such CARs, engineered immune cells, and nucleic acids. The disclosure further relates to therapeutic methods for use of these CARs and engineered immune cells comprising these CARs for the treatment of a condition associated with malignant cells expressing CD70 (e.g., cancer).
METHODS OF TREATING CANCER USING TIGIT INHIBITORS AND ANTI-CANCER AGENTS
The present disclosure provides methods comprising administering to the individual an effective amount of an agent that decreases or inhibits TIGIT expression and/or activity and an anti-cancer agent and/or an anti-cancer therapy. Further provided are kits comprising an anti-cancer agent, an agent that decreases or inhibits TIGIT expression and/or activity, or both, as well as instructions for use thereof.
INTRANASAL mRNA VACCINES
The present invention in general to intranasal mRNA vaccines, more in particular comprising one or more immunostimulatory molecules, one or more pathogenic antigens and a specifically designed delivery system. Specifically said immunostimulatory molecules and pathogenic antigens are provided for in the form of mRNA molecules encoding such molecules and antigen; more in particular mRNA molecules encoding for CD40L, caTLR4 and/or CD70 in combination with one or more mRNA molecules encoding a bacterial, viral or fungal antigen. Specifically said, the delivery is a mixture of chemical compounds that allow protection and deposition of the vaccine and targeting to the antigen presenting cells in the nose. In particular, present invention is well suited for development of a rapid response vaccine in an outbreak setting.
PEPTIDES AND COMBINATION OF PEPTIDES FOR USE IN IMMUNOTHERAPY AGAINST OVARIAN CANCER AND OTHER CANCERS
The present invention relates to peptides, proteins, nucleic acids and cells for use in immunotherapeutic methods. In particular, the present invention relates to the immunotherapy of cancer. The present invention furthermore relates to tumor-associated T-cell peptide epitopes, alone or in combination with other tumor-associated peptides that can for example serve as active pharmaceutical ingredients of vaccine compositions that stimulate anti-tumor immune responses, or to stimulate T cells ex vivo and transfer into patients. Peptides bound to molecules of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC), or peptides as such, can also be targets of antibodies, soluble T-cell receptors, and other binding molecules.
CHIMERIC ANTIGEN RECEPTOR FACTORIES AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
This invention is directed to chimeric antigen receptors and cells comprising the same, wherein the cells further secrete monoclonal antibodies locally at a tumor site.
BIPARTITE AND TRIPARTITE SIGNALING IMMUNE CELLS
Embodiments of the disclosure include compositions and methods effective for immunotherapy, such as for cancer. The embodiments include cells that recognize a combination of two signals or three signals present at the tumor microenvironment. In certain embodiments, the signals for antigen stimulation, co-stimulation, and cytokine signaling act through separate molecules, although in certain embodiments the signals for antigen stimulation and co-stimulation are transmitted through the same molecule.
