COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR INHIBITION AND INTERRUPTION OF BIOFILM FORMATION
Compositions and methods for inhibiting and interrupting biofilm formation, and for destabilizing established biofilms are provided, the novel compositions including polymeric resins and monomeric non-polymerizable and polymerizable resins. More particularly, the compositions and methods enable the protection and removal of biofilms from surfaces in the context of medical, consumer, domestic, food service, environmental and industrial applications, where the effects constitute beneficial and desirable biofilm attenuating activity.
METHOD FOR THE DECOLORIZATION OF KERATIN MATERIAL THAT HAS BEEN DYED USING AN AMINO SILICONE AND A PIGMENT
A process for decolorizing keratinous material which has been colored by the application of at least one pigment is disclosed. The process comprises applying to a dyed keratin material a decolorizing agent comprising at least one amphoteric and/or zwitterionic surfactant and a pH of from about 1.0 to about 4.3. The process further comprises rinsing the decolorizing agent from the keratin material after a contact time. A method for dyeing and later decolorizing human hair is also disclosed, and comprises applying a colorant to the hair to give a dyed hair, the colorant comprising at least one amino-functionalized silicone polymer and at least one pigment; applying to the dyed hair the decolorizing agent to give a decolorized hair; and rinsing the decolorizing agent from the decolorized hair. A multi-component packaging unit comprising a first container comprising the colorant and a second container comprising the decolorizing agent is also disclosed.
POLYMERIC FATTY ACID SALT COMPOUNDS FOR THE TREATMENT OF FIBROUS AMINO ACID-BASED SUBSTRATES, ESPECIALLY HAIR
The present invention is directed at organic ammonium salts comprising
an organic ammonium-group-comprising cation which does not contain an estolide moiety and a carboxylate anion (COO—) group-comprising anion selected from the group consisting of anions containing at least one estolide moiety or carboxylate anions containing at least one internal ester group.
The invention is also directed at a process for the production of such organic ammonium salts, the use of such organic ammonium salts in cosmetic formulations for skin and hair care, the use of such organic ammonium salts for the treatment of fibers, the use of the organic ammonium salts for the treatment of hair, at compositions containing such organic ammonium salts, the use of the products of the process for the production of organic ammonium salts in cosmetic formulations for skin care and hair conditioner and hair shampoo, the use of said products for the treatment of fibers, and compositions containing said products for the treatment of hair.
HAIR CONDITIONING COMPOSITION FOR IMPROVED DEPOSITION
A conditioning composition results in improved particulate benefit agent deposition on to hair, said composition comprising: (i) 0.01 to 10 wt % of a linear cationic conditioning primary surfactant; selected from structure 1 and mixtures thereof; (ii) 0.1 to 10 wt % of a linear fatty material; (iii) a particulate benefit agent selected from conditioning actives and mixtures thereof; (iv) 0.01 to 5 wt % of a linear di-alkyl cationic co-surfactant, selected from structure 2 and mixtures thereof.

HAIR CONDITIONING COMPOSITION FOR IMPROVED DEPOSITION
A composition provides superior deposition of benefit agent to hair, said composition comprising: (i) 0.01 to 10 wt % of a linear cationic conditioning primary surfactant; selected from structure 1 and mixtures thereof: Structure 1 wherein: R1 comprises a linear alkyl chain having a carbon-carbon chain length of from C16 to C24, preferably C18 to C22; 10. Rheofluidifying concentrated foaming composition and uses of same, in particular for body hygiene
A rheofluidifying surfactant composition structured into planar lamellar phases includes: a) at least one anionic surfactant and b) at least one compound selected from among amphoteric surfactants and non-ionic surfactants, in which the total active material of said surfactants is between 35 and 60% by weight relative to the total weight of said composition, in which the ratio of anionic surfactant is between 0.3 and 0.9, the ratio of amphoteric surfactant is between 0.0 and 0.7 and the ratio of non-ionic surfactant is between 0.0 and 0.7, said ratio being the ratio between the weight percentage of active material of said surfactant in said composition and the weight percentage of total active material of said surfactants in said composition, the pH of the composition being between 4 and 8, said at least one anionic surfactant being selected from the group comprising alkyl sulfates, alkyl ether sulfates, sulfonates, derivatives of phosphoric acid, phosphates and alkyl phosphates, isethionates, taurates, sulfoccinates, alkyl sulfoacetates, anionic derivatives of proteins of plant origin, amino acids and amino acid derivatives, polypeptides, carboxylic acids and the salts of same, salts of fatty acids from saponification, lactic acid derivatives and alkyl polyglucoside derivatives, and said composition being free of sodium chloride other than that which may be provided by the surfactants.

The present disclosure relates to a solid hair cosmetic composition comprising—based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition—0.1 to 40.0% by weight of at least one polysaccharide, at least one polysaccharide being starch from corn, rice, potato or tapioca; modified starch; hydroxypropyl starch phosphate or a dextrin, and optionally: 10.0 to 60.0% by weight of at least one polyhydric alcohol, 0.1 to 15.0% by weight of at least one cationic surfactant, and 0.1 to 15.0% by weight of at least one saturated or unsaturated, branched or unbranched C.sub.8-C.sub.30 alcohol and/or a saturated or unsaturated, branched or unbranched C.sub.8-C.sub.30 carboxylic acid and/or a salt of a saturated or unsaturated, branched or unbranched C.sub.8-C.sub.30 carboxylic acid, as well as production and application methods and uses thereof.
Synergistic anti-inflammatory compositions
The present invention is directed to a personal composition comprising a) a strobilurin; b) salicylic acid wherein the ratio of a:b is from about 1:1 to about 100:1; wherein there is a synergistic anti-inflammatory/cellular stress activity.
HAIR COSMETIC COMPOSITION

Cosmetic compositions including about 0.1 to about 3 wt. % of a cationic surfactant grafted halloysite compound; about 0.5 to about 10 wt. % of a nonionic surfactant, a cationic surfactant, or a mixture thereof; and water, wherein all weight percentages are based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. Methods of making and using the cosmetic compositions are also disclosed.
