IN VIVO BULKING AGENT, INJECTION COMPRISING SAME, AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR
20220354790 · 2022-11-10 ·

The present invention relates to an in-vivo bulking agent which can be used as a medicinal agent for prevention or treatment of at least one disease selected from the group consisting of urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and gastroesophageal reflux or as a filler for use in a plastic surgery procedure, and to a preparation method therefor. The in-vivo bulking agent can exhibit a bulking effect when injected into the body and particularly, is highly biocompatible because a first composition in which silicone particles are coated with a zwitterionic polymer having a surfactant property is introduced into a second composition, whereby the bulking agent can inhibit inflammatory reactions in vivo.

The hair care compositions may include one or more nonionic surfactants comprising one or more alkylpolyglucosides; one or more fatty alcohols; one or more fatty esters comprising caprylic/capric triglyceride; about 0.5 to about 30 wt. % of a fatty compound other than fatty alcohol and fatty ester; one or more silicones comprising polysilicone-11; one or more thickening agents; and water, wherein the hair care composition is an emulsion, and all weight percentages are based on the total weight of the hair care composition.

SILICA ANTISCALANT COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR SILICA SCALING INHIBITION IN MEMBRANE APPLICATIONS

An antiscalant composition, the composition having a silica inhibitor composition, and a dispersant composition. A method for inhibiting scale formation in a membrane system, the method providing an antiscalant composition, the antiscalant composition having a silica inhibitor and a dispersant, and adding the antiscalant composition to an aqueous stream of an aqueous system.

Polymer for treating hair

The present invention relates to a polymer comprising repeating units derived from at least one first monomer (monomer A) which is a molecule comprising a thiolactone ring and an ethylenically unsaturated, polymerizable double bond, and at least one second monomer (monomer B) which is N-vinyl pyrrolidone. Furthermore the present invention relates to a modified polymer, the structure of which is identical to the structure of the said polymer apart from the only difference, which is that all or at least some of the thiolactone moieties of the said polymer are modified by opening the thiolactone ring with a substance selected from the group consisting of ammonia, a primary amine, 2-amino-1-ethanol and L-lysine, wherein the N-atom of said substance is binding to the carbonyl group of the opened thiolactone ring. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a process for making the modified polymer and to the use of the polymer or of the modified polymer for treating hair.
