Polyurethane gel composition and use thereof
Provided is a polyurethane gel composition containing A and B below. Here, A represents a polyurethane obtained by reaction of (a) a hydrogenated polybutadiene having isocyanate groups at the terminals and (b) a glycol represented by HO—R.sub.3—OH (wherein R.sub.3 represents a linear or branched C2 to C6 alkylene group optionally having an ether bond), or A represents a polyurethane obtained by reaction of (c) a hydrogenated polybutadiene having hydroxyl groups at the terminals, (d) a diisocyanate compound, and the (b) glycol represented by HO—R.sub.3—OH (wherein R.sub.3 represents a linear or branched C2 to C6 alkylene group optionally having an ether bond), and B represents an oil agent. The polyurethane gel composition of the present invention is particularly useful as a raw material for cosmetics since a film of an oil-soluble gel obtained using the polyurethane gel composition is exceptionally excellent in any point of transparency, high gloss, elasticity, and resilience.
WATER-BASED COSMETIC
A water-based cosmetic including:
agar having a weight average molecular weight of 10,000 to 60,000 (component (A));
xanthan gum (component (B)); and
a water-soluble polymer excluding the component (A) or (B) (component (C)).
SKIN-PROTECTIVE EMULSIONS
Cosmetic oil-in-water emulsions that can provide a hydrophobic film to protect from excessive hydration are disclosed. In some aspects, a cosmetic oil-in-water emulsion can include water at a concentration of at least about 70% by total weight of the cosmetic oil-in-water emulsion, a plurality of water-in-oil emulsifiers, a base oil, an oil-in-water emulsifier, and a film-forming polymer. The base oil can have a wVTR of about 1.0 to 30 g/m.sup.2/hr and can be at a concentration of no more than about 15% by weight of the cosmetic oil-in water emulsion.
LONGWEARING COMPOSITION FOR KERATINOUS FIBER
Inventive embodiments disclosed herein include an oil-in-water mascara formulation that includes non-emulsifying waxes in a concentration of 1 to 12 percent by weight; at least one viscosity modifier; and at least one non-wax grafted polymer and at least one wax grafted polymer with a combined concentration of 0.10 percent to 50 percent.
Skin external preparation comprising an aqueous dispersion of finely dispersed wax, nonionic surfactant, and ionic water-soluble thickener
A skin external preparation includes a finely dispersed wax composition that is solid or semisolid at room temperature, a nonionic surfactant, an aqueous dispersion medium, and an ionic water-soluble thickener, and optionally further contains at least one of silicone oil and fluorinated oil which is liquid at room temperature, and the mass ratio of the nonionic surfactant to the wax being 1.0 or more, the particle size of the finely dispersed wax is 500 nm or less, and it substantially contains no ionic surfactants therein.
Topical creams
The present disclosure provides compositions as topical creams for treating vaginal atrophy, methods of making these compositions, and methods of using these compositions to treat vaginal atrophy.
STABLE COSMETIC CLEANSING COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING COLD CREAM
Cosmetic cleansing compositions and methods employing the cleansing compositions are provided herein. In an embodiment, a cosmetic cleansing composition includes: a) at least one anionic surfactant and/or a fatty acid soap, b) at least one animal wax and/or a derivative of an animal wax, c) at least one vegetable oil, d) at least one C.sub.2-C.sub.6 polyol, e) at least one natural thickening agent, f) at least one chamomile extract, and g) allantoin.
EMULSION COMPOSITION CONTAINING A COLD CREAM
A cosmetic emulsion composition for skincare, which comprises a. at least one anionic surfactant and/or a fatty acid soap, b. at least one animal wax and/or a derivative of an animal waxes, c. at least one vegetable oil, d. at least one C.sub.2-C.sub.6 polyol e. at least one natural thickener f. at least one extract from chamomile and g. allantoin,
has excellent skin care properties (skin-soothing effect, moisturizing properties). Moreover, they are storage stable and have a pleasant texture.
COSMETIC COMPOSITION BASED ON BIOSOURCED ISODODECANE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The invention relates to a method for preparing a cosmetic composition comprising the preparation of isododecane of natural origin and the mixture of isododecane formed with at least one compound selected from among: waxes, oils, film-forming agents, dyes and mixtures thereof. The invention also relates to the resulting cosmetic composition.
Preservative Compositions and Methods of Use
Methods are provided for reducing or preventing undesirable changes in a composition over time, such as microbial growth, oxidative damage, and/or color changes. Date palm pollen or an extract thereof serves as a preservative, antimicrobial, and/or antioxidant component, thereby stabilizing the composition.
