Method and apparatus for disinfection
A process and apparatus for disinfection of spaces using a disinfecting liquid droplet spray atomization are described, in which an electric fan 107 is used to dispense the atomization from an atomization chamber 104 via venture outlets 106 into the space to be disinfected. The operation of the electric fan 107 is modulated in a cycle having a first phase in which the fan is operated at full speed and a second phase at which the fan is operated at a randomly selected speed to vary the rate of dispensing into the space in order to improve the dispersal of the atomized droplets in the space and hence the efficacy of disinfection.
COMPLIANCE-BASED CLEANING DEVICE
A compliance-based cleaning device includes an internal housing and a sanitization chamber coupled to the internal housing and configured to receive a piece of equipment to be cleaned. The sanitization chamber transitions between an open position and a closed position by rotating about an axis within the internal housing. The device further includes a cleaning member located in proximity to the sanitization chamber and configured to perform a cleaning process on the piece of equipment in response to the sanitization chamber entering the closed position.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CLEANING AND SANITIZING FOODSTUFF TANKS
A system and method for cleaning, rinsing, and sanitizing a container is disclosed. The system has a sanitizing agent chamber for storing a sanitizing agent, the one or more solution chambers in fluid communication with the container, a pump in fluid commination with the sanitizing agent, wherein the pump is in communication with a gas, and at least one spray nozzle fluidly connected to the at least one solution chamber via a conduit positioned within the container, wherein the spray nozzle comprises a housing inside which the sanitizing agent is mixed at pressure with the gas to disperse the sanitizing agent and gas mixture into the container for sanitizing the container.
Apparatus and method for sterilizing endoscope
A method of sterilizing an article includes receiving the article in a sterilization chamber. The method also includes applying a vacuum to a first pressure less than 100 torr. The method also includes introducing a sterilant into the sterilization chamber. The method also includes maintaining the first pressure in the sterilization chamber for a first period of time. The method also includes venting the sterilization chamber to a second pressure less than 100 torr. The method also includes maintaining the second pressure. The method also includes venting the sterilization chamber to a third pressure. The method also includes maintaining the third pressure. The method also includes venting the sterilization chamber to atmospheric pressure. The method further includes between venting and maintaining steps applying a vacuum to a fourth pressure less than 100 torr, introducing additional sterilant, and maintaining the fourth pressure.
PLASMA TREATMENT DEVICE AND METHOD OF TREATING ITEMS
The use of plasma to clean or sterilize items can be particularly advantageous for items that cannot be readily washed or cleaned by standard methods. The toxicity and complications generating sufficient plasma makes it hard to use for such purposes. The subject invention addresses the problem by generating a minimal amount of highly reactive plasma to sterilize an item. This is achieved by reducing the amount of space and ambient air around and within the item. In this way, the plasma generated fills only the required volume of the item to be cleaned and the plasm is directed at the object, not directed at or released into non-target areas.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DISINFECTING AND CLEANING ENCLOSED SPACES IN PARTICULAR, SUCH AS A PASSENGER COMPARTMENT ON A MEANS OF TRANSPORT
Disclosed is a method for disinfecting and cleaning to prevent contamination of a passenger vehicle, characterized in that it includes the following operations: —installing at least one filter and condenser in the ventilation circuit; creating a swirling vortex of a disinfectant liquid by a gas referred to as a driving gas; spraying the swirling mixture created onto the clothing and luggage of passengers before they enter the passenger compartment; and spraying the mixture created onto the solid surfaces and/or into the air of the passenger compartment to be disinfected. Also disclosed is a device for implementing the method.
OXIDANT COMPOSITION FOR SUPPRESSING LOSS OF ADHESIVE DURABILITY, AND USE OF SAME
The disclosure relates to a microbicidal composition with excellent action of limiting a decrease in durability of synthetic adhesives as well as high microbicidal action. The microbicidal composition contains 0.03 to less than 1.0 mass % of peracetic acid, 0.045 to less than 1.5 mass % of hydrogen peroxide, and 0.036 mass % or more of glycine.
Automated endoscope reprocessing unit with in-line peracetic acid sensor
An apparatus and process to clean medical devices, such as endoscopes, that includes an automatic endoscope reprocessor system equipped with a peracetic acid/hydrogen peroxide sensor are described.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES, AND DEVICES FOR FACILITATING SANITIZING INTERIOR SPACES OF AN AIRCRAFT USING A PRECONDITIONED AIR (PCA) SYSTEM
A method of facilitating sanitizing interior spaces of an aircraft using a pre-conditioned air (PCA) system. The method comprises cutting an opening in a duct wall of a pre-conditioned air (PCA) supply duct of the PCA system. Further, the method comprises installing a device in the PCA supply duct around the opening, coupling an inlet opening of the device with a device outlet port of a sanitizing device after the installing, wherein a sanitizing agent generator of the sanitizing device generates a sanitizing agent for transferring the sanitizing agent to the inlet opening through the device outlet port. Further, the method comprises injecting the sanitizing agent into the PCA supply duct from an outlet opening of the device based on the transferring. Further, the sanitizing agent mixes with the PCA based on the injecting. Further, the sanitizing agent is supplied to the interior space along with the PCA.
DECONTAMINATION SYSTEM
The present invention achieves a decontamination effect with a proper amount of hydrogen peroxide mist supplied to a room to be decontaminated by further refining such hydrogen peroxide mist supplied to the room for dispersion/diffusion, and reducing the duration of operations such as aeration to increase efficiency of decontamination.
The decontamination system includes a mist generation means, a mist discharge port, and a mist dispersion/diffusion means. The mist generation means converts a decontamination liquid into a mist to generate a mist for decontamination. The mist discharge port is opened at an upper portion on an internal side wall surface of the room to discharge a such mist into the inside of the room. The mist dispersion/diffusion means generates sound flows by an ultrasound in the vertical direction from a plate surface of a vibration plate provided adjacent to a lower portion of the mist discharge port on the internal side wall surface of the room or adjacent to a lower portion on a side surface in a mist discharge direction. The mist is pressed by acoustic radiation pressure backward or laterally in intermittent operation or stronger/weaker operation of the system.
