Deodorizing attachment for a fan
A deodorizing attachment for a fan includes a plate having an adhesive backing and a plurality of open-faced cups being disposed upon a face opposite the backing. Each cup has a mesh cover with each cup being configured to removably secure a unit of an air freshener.
SCENTED ATTACHMENT FOR CONTAINERS
Aspects of the disclosure include an attachment for providing a scent to a container. The scented attachment may be configured for being associated with a container, such as a drink or a food storage container. In one instance, the attachment is of a size or shape so as to fit around a circumference of the container. In another instance, the attachment may be configured for being associated to the container with a suitable attachment mechanism. For instance, the attachment may include a substrate having a first surface comprising an attachment mechanism for associating the scented attachment to the container; and a second surface comprising a scent. Systems including a scented attachment and a container, including their methods of use, are also provided.
SOLID AIR FRESHENER
The present invention relates to a solid pressed air freshener and odor neutralizer composition which can include greater than 10% fragrance. The air freshener comprises a fragrance; preferably the fragrance is impregnated within a water soluble substrate made from a foamed vegetable starch, a surfactant and a solidifier. The solid formulations break down easily in the presence of water and may be sprayed, within the area to be freshened.
SILICA MICROCAPSULES AND METHODS OF PREPARING SAME
Disclosed is a microcapsule containing: (i) a microcapsule core having an active material, and (ii) a microcapsule wall formed of a first polymer and second polymer. The first polymer is a sol-gel polymer. The second polymer is gum arabic, purity gum ultra, gelatin, chitosan, xanthan gum, plant gum, carboxymethyl cellulose, sodium carboxymethyl guar gum, or a combination thereof. The weight ratio between the first and second polymer is 1:10 to 10:1. Also disclosed are processes for preparing the microcapsule and uses of the microcapsules in consumer products.
Air freshening system and method
The present invention supports an airflow register accessory comprising an accessory having an outer and an inner surface and defining vents, a fastening mechanism located on the inner surface of the accessory, and a scented component located on the inner surface adjacent and accessorizing the vents. In a preferred embodiment, the accessory may be easily attached to and detached from the room-facing surface of an airflow register. Upon air flow from an HVAC system through the airflow register and airflow register accessory, a pleasant scent may be imparted to the room via release of scent from the scented component.
Membrane device for the release of volatile compositions
A membrane device is intended for the release of volatile compositions. The membrane device includes one or more membrane layers which are permeable to the volatile composition and which are positioned within a vapor impermeable package such as package formed by an upper and lower vapor impermeable panel. The upper vapor impermeable panel includes a window that allows access to the membrane layer for activation of the membrane device. The membrane device can also include decorative portions for aesthetic appeal.
MALODOR REDUCTION IN AIR CARE APPLICATIONS
Described herein are compositions for malodor reduction in various air care applications.
DIFFUSER OF ACTIVE AGENTS SUCH AS INSECTICIDES, PERFUMES, DETERGENTS OR DISINFECTANTS, AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS THEREOF
Diffuser of an active liquid agent, for the treatment of a fluid environment, be it at the gaseous or liquid state, of the type including a container (1) of the active agent, closed by grid element apt to maintain in position the active agent and to allow the emanation of fluids of the same, the grid element being covered by a barrier film, peelable at the time of the first use to make operative the grid element, wherein the container (1) is closed by a single multilayer film (2, 3a, 3b) including at least one external barrier layer (3a) and at least another inner sealing layer (2) apt to maintain in position the active agent and to form the grid element, at the time of the first use of the container, following the simultaneous removal of the barrier film and of predefined portions of the sealing layer.
Fragrance dispenser with user-selectable release rate
A fragrance dispenser and a corresponding method of dispensing fragrance, comprising at least one receptacle having a major open end, with a porous diffuser layer occlusively overlying the major open end of the receptacle, wherein at least a sectional area of the porous diffuser layer is removable to uncover a portion of the receptacle to control of the release rate of a fragrance source. The fragrance dispenser may comprise a plurality of receptacles and the porous diffuser layer comprises a plurality of sections that are individually removable to uncover each receptacle. The fragrance dispenser could comprise a removable cover sheet that is peelably detachable from the porous diffuser layer. Porous diffuser layer could be an organic polymeric nonwoven web and/or the receptacle is made of a thermoplastic organic polymeric resin. The fragrance dispenser may further comprise a secondary diffuser layer that has 50% more permeability that the porous diffuser layer.
Method of system for inducing a Pavlovian conditioned association of an aroma with a state of satiation
A system for inducing a Pavlovian conditioned association of an aroma with a state of satiation, the system comprising at least a physiological sensor, wherein the at least a physiological sensor is configured to detect at least a physiological parameter of a user, and to transmit a detection signal, a control device configured to receive the detection signal from the at least a physiological sensor, wherein the control device is further configured to ascertain that the user is experiencing a physiological state associated with satiation, and to transmit the detection signal to an automatically activated scent diffuser, thereby conditioning the user to associate said scent with satiation, and an automatically activated scent diffuser, wherein the scent diffuser is configured to automatically activate upon receiving the detection signal, wherein automatically activating further comprises diffusing a scent in response to the detection signal.
