Intubation devices
A stylet is disclosed for insertion into an endotracheal tube for guiding the tube during intubation. The stylet has a body (3) with a pivotable tip portion (5) at its distal end which is movable in either of two opposing directions away from the axis of the stylet. The tip portion (5) may carry an image acquisition device for video imaging. A control mechanism for controlling the pivot angle of the pivotable tip has a hand-operated actuator (7) at the proximal end of the stylet and flexible control wires (23) extending down the stylet to connect the actuator to the pivotable tip portion (5). Also disclosed is an endotracheal tube (100) usable with the stylet and having a bending portion (103), defined by a concertina or thinned portion, at its distal end to facilitate bending of its tip portion (104) by the stylet tip portion (5).
End-expiratory CO.SUB.2 .guided tracheal intubation device
An end-expiratory CO.sub.2 guided tracheal intubation apparatus includes: an intubation tube, an end-expiratory CO.sub.2 catheter, a suction tube, an airbag and an inflation tube. The end-expiratory CO.sub.2 catheter partially penetrates the sidewall of the intubation tube, one end of the end-expiratory CO.sub.2 catheter extends beyond an end of the intubation tube, and the other end is connected to an end-expiratory CO.sub.2 sensor, the suction tube partially penetrates a sidewall of the intubation tube, one end of the liquid suction tube extends beyond an end of the intubation tube, the other end is connected to an air pump, the airbag sleeves the outer wall of the intubation tube, the inflation tube partially penetrates the sidewall of the intubation tube, one end thereof is connected to the airbag, and the other end is connected to the air supply device.
Puncture cricothyrotomy set
A puncture cricothyrotomy set includes a tracheal tube and a puncture cannula arranged therein, which has a rotary actuating device with a handle. By moving the handle about its rotational axis, the puncture cannula can be moved from its puncture position into the tracheal tube far enough that the tip section is arranged completely within the tracheal tube.
Endotracheal tube cap with pressure relief valve
A non-ventilator ET tube cap used to oxygenate a patient during an intubation procedure. The ET tube cap generally comprises an oxygen source connector configured to connect to an oxygen source via an oxygen tube. This provides oxygen to a patient via an ET tube while being intubated. The ET tube cap further includes an ET tube receiving aperture that is specifically arranged to engage an ET tube in a removable relationship prior to the ET tube connected to a ventilator while the ET tube is deployed in a patient. Optionally, the ET tube cap can comprise a pressure relief valve that opens when pressure inside of the ET tube cap exceeds a predetermined pressure threshold to prevent harm to the patient that is being intubated.
Inflatable laryngeal mask airway for endoscopic diagnosis and treatment
The present invention provides an inflatable laryngeal mask airway (LMA) for endoscopic diagnosis and treatment. The inflatable LMA for endoscopic diagnosis and treatment includes a cuff and an airway tube. The cuff is fixedly connected to the airway tube. The airway tube includes a ventilation airway, an endoscope channel and an inflation channel which are arranged in parallel. The ventilation inlet, the endoscope inlet and the inflation inlet are located at the end of the airway tube away from the cuff. The cuff includes a base body and an air bag connected to the base body. The inflation outlet is connected to the air bag. The endoscope outlet is connected to a lower surface of the base body and directed to the front side of the base body. The back surface of the endoscope channel is provided with an expansion port extending from the endoscope inlet to the endoscope outlet.
Neurostimulation induced medicine devices and related methods of use
Example neurostimulation induced medicine devices and methods of use are described herein. An example endotracheal device can include an elongate tubular member having a proximal end and a distal end, an inflatable cuff arranged between the proximal and distal ends of the elongate tubular member, and an electrode array disposed in proximity to an exterior surface of the inflatable cuff. The inflatable cuff can be configured to expand to contact a subject's tracheal wall. Additionally, the electrode array can include a plurality of flexible electrodes, where a set of the flexible electrodes anatomically align with a region of the subject's tracheal wall for selectively targeting vagus nerve activity.

A non-ventilator ET tube cap used to oxygenate a patient during an intubation procedure. The ET tube cap generally comprises an oxygen source connector configured to connect to an oxygen source via an oxygen tube. This provides oxygen to a patient via an ET tube while being intubated. A medical supportable variable tracheal tube ventilation device, having a tracheal tube main body having a telescopic length; the tracheal tube main body comprises a telescopic tracheal tube main tube achieved by compressible sections and a variable tracheal tube head coupled to one end of the tracheal tube main tube; the tracheal tube head is made of a material shapable according to different temperatures; the variable tracheal tube head is a compressed cone, and by airflow inflation, the compressed cone of the variable tracheal tube head expands and opens to the cylindrical shape; an outer side of the tracheal tube main body is sleeved with a tracheal tube sealing cuff, and the tracheal tube sealing cuff is disposed proximal to the variable tracheal tube head; another end of the tracheal tube main tube is connected with a tracheal tube connector.
