INTRAVENOUS BLOOD SET FOOT PUMP
An IV blood set foot pump includes a base plate, a squeezing plate movably coupled to the base plate by a pivot member and a biasing member coupled to the base plate and the squeezing plate. The biasing member is configured to exert a biasing force against the squeezing plate when the biasing member is in a compressed state. One of the base plate and the squeezing plate comprises a cavity configured to receive an IV pump bulb. IV sets with IV blood set foot pumps and methods of operating IV blood set foot pumps are also provided.
External Driving Mechanism
A system comprises a syringe pump and a special designed syringe. The syringe pump includes a housing with a flange holder for receiving a flange of the syringe barrel, an electrical motor disposed inside the housing, a plurality of gears driven by the electrical motor, a leadscrew connected to the plurality of gears, and a cage housing for housing the leadscrew and for holding at least partially the plunger. The flange of the plunger inserts into the flange holder, the leadscrew engages the plunger and moves the plunger in and out of the syringe.
INTRAVENOUS SET HAND PUMP
An IV set hand pump includes a body having an egg-shape, a grip portion extending radially outward from the body, an inlet port disposed at a first end of the body and an outlet port disposed at a second end of the body. The IV set hand pump is configured, when squeezed, to increase a fluid flow rate of an IV set downstream of the IV set hand pump beyond a maximum gravity based fluid flow rate of the IV set. IV sets with IV set hand pumps and methods of operating IV set hand pumps are also provided.
INTRAVENOUS SET CORKSCREW HAND PUMP
An IV set corkscrew hand pump includes a body, a corkscrew member disposed in the body, an inlet port disposed on a first end of the body, an outlet port disposed on a second end of the body and a drive mechanism coupled to the corkscrew member. The drive mechanism is configured to cause the corkscrew mechanism to turn within the body to increase fluid flow downstream in an IV set. IV sets with IV set corkscrew hand pumps and methods of operating IV set corkscrew hand pumps are also provided.
Intravenous filter
IV filters are described herein. An IV filter includes a body, a filter media, and a bulb. The body defines a body volume. The filter media is disposed within the body volume. The filter media defines an inlet portion of the body volume and an outlet portion of the body volume. The filter media permits inlet flow from the inlet portion of the body volume to the outlet portion of the body volume and captures particulate from the inlet flow. The bulb defines a bulb volume in fluid communication with the outlet portion of the body volume. The bulb is deformable to compress the bulb volume and direct back flow from the outlet portion of the body volume through the filter media and into the inlet portion of the body volume, displacing particulate captured in the filter media into the inlet portion of the body volume.
MANUALLY ACTUATED INFUSION DEVICE WITH DISPLAY
A manually operated medicament infusion device is provided. The device is capable of delivering an accurately controlled volume of medicament with reliability. Additionally, the device includes a battery-operated indication device for tracking the number of doses of medication delivered. Optionally, the device includes a ratchet and pawl to prevent inadvertent dispensing of medicament.
APPARATUS FOR PATIENT-CONTROLLED DRUG INJECTION HAVING COUNTER
The present invention relates to an apparatus for patient-controlled drug injection having a counter capable of counting the number of administrations. According to one aspect of the present invention, disclosed is an apparatus for patient-controlled drug injection having a counter, comprising: a case; a pressing part, provided in the case, for applying pressure to pump a chemical liquid; and a counter, provided in the case and having a counting button that is pressed by pressure when a user presses the pressing part, for counting the number of times that the pressing part is pressed.
Bolus Delivery Device
A bolus delivery device is provided that comprises a housing and a reservoir defined by an activation dome and a reservoir seat and disposed within the housing for receipt of a volume of a fluid. The bolus delivery device further comprises a bladder disposed in the housing that is in fluid communication with the reservoir for receipt of the fluid from the reservoir; an actuator; an inlet conduit in fluid communication with the reservoir for providing the fluid to the reservoir; and an outlet conduit in fluid communication with the bladder for providing the fluid to a patient. The actuator is in operative communication with the reservoir to initiate a flow of the fluid from the reservoir to the bladder. The bladder expands as the bladder receives the fluid and contracts as the bladder dispenses the fluid. An infusion assembly including a bolus delivery device also is provided.
RELOCATION MODULE AND METHODS FOR SURGICAL EQUIPMENT
Modules for housing electronic and electromechanical medical equipment including a system to measure and record administration of one or more IV medications or fluids for IV administration. A system and method for fusing independent measures of the physiological parameters, in some examples using a Kalman filter for each possible combination of sensor measurements.
Staged deflation syringe systems and associated methods
Devices used to deflate an inflatable hemostasis device are disclosed. The devices may be configured to deflate the inflatable hemostasis device in staged increments over a period of time. The devices may include a barrel member and a plunger member comprising an insert configured to couple with a retention ring of the barrel to restrict a retraction distance of the plunger member.
