A drug depot delivery system includes a housing having a cavity. A cartridge is positioned within the cavity and includes a body having a channel. The body includes a first pair of rails and a second pair of rails. A plunger is slidably disposed in the housing and the cartridge. The plunger is configured to move a drug depot through the channel and out of the housing. Kits and methods of use are disclosed.

MACHINE LEARNING ENABLED DETECTION OF INFUSION PUMP MISLOADS
A method may include capturing, by a camera at an infusion pump, one or more images of the pump loaded with an infusion set. A machine learning model may be applied to the images to detect nonconformities that may be present in the images of the pump loaded with the infusion set. Examples of nonconformities include a misload of the intravenous set in which an upper fitment, a lower fitment, and/or a tubing of the intravenous set is misplaced within the pump. In response to an output of the machine learning model indicating a presence of a nonconformity in the one or more images of the pump loaded with the infusion set, a corrective action may be performed. For example, the pump may be prevented from performing an infusion and a message identifying the nonconformities may be generated. Related methods and articles of manufacture are also disclosed.
Injector with ready to use indicator
An injection system, including an injector having a dispensing mechanism configured to dispense a medicament, and a ready-to-use indicator. The ready-to-use indicator includes a controller configured to interact with the ready-to-use indicator and an audio and/or visual indicator, a temperature sensor, and a temperature analog having similar thermodynamic properties of the medicament. The temperature sensor is configured to detect a temperature of the temperature analog which represents the dynamic temperature of medicament as the medicament is heated or cooled. The temperature sensor is configured to communicate the detected temperature to the controller and to alert the controller when a preset temperature is reached. The ready-to-use indicator is configured to alert a user when the preset temperature is reached, signifying the medicament is thermally ready to be delivered by the dispensing mechanism. The audio and/or visual indicator is configured to display indicate one or more notifications to the user.
SYRINGE COVER DEVICE
A syringe cover device comprises a first cap with a first frame and a first seal coupled thereto, and a second cap with a second frame and a second seal coupled thereto. The first frame and the second frame are couplable to each other to form an accommodating space therebetween. The first seal and the second seal are couplable to each other to form a main seal body and disposed in the accommodating space. The main seal body has a first surface abutting against the first frame and the second frame, a second surface opposite to the first surface and an aperture formed through the first surface and the second surface. The first frame and the second frame may be attached to a syringe flange with the syringe plunger passing through the aperture to cover and seal a back opening of the syringe barrel.

A device (1) for monitoring the state of an injection applicator comprising an energy source (10) and the following electronic components: an accelerometer (5), a time measuring means (6), a temperature measuring means (7), a processing unit (8) connected to a system adapted to store, process and transfer data, said system including: the time measuring means (6), the accelerometer (5), the temperature measuring means (7) and a memory (9), a user interface (4) connected to the processing unit (8) for presenting information based on the data transferred by the processing unit (8), said monitoring device (1) being connected to a control member (3) of the applicator, and wherein said monitoring device (1) is adapted to operate in a sleep mode and in an active mode, and is further adapted to detect by means of the accelerometer (5) at least a first action and a second action, the first action being related to taking said monitoring device (1) out of the sleep mode and putting it into the active mode, and the second action being related to the setting and/or the delivering of a dose.
Electronic Label for a Drug Delivery Device
The present disclosure relates to an electronic label for a drug delivery device configured for administering a medicament to a patient. The electronic label includes a flexible substrate configured for attachment to a body. The electronic label further includes an electronic display located on the flexible substrate, wherein the electronic display is configured to display a first information content of a first information type, a second information content of a second information type, and a third information content of the first or of the second information type. The electronic label includes a processor connected to the electronic display, which is configured to modify or to control a visual appearance of the electronic display by visualizing at least a portion of the first information content and at least a portion of the third information content separately, simultaneously, sequentially or alternately on the electronic display.
AUTOMATIC INJECTION DEVICE
Automatic injection device includes a housing, a syringe, a plunger, and a syringe carrier. The housing includes a barrel between a first end and a second end. The barrel includes an elongated window to allow viewing of contents inside the housing. The syringe is disposed within the housing and has a reservoir. The plunger is at least partially disposed within the syringe and includes a visual indicator. The syringe carrier is disposed within the housing and configured to contain the syringe and displace the syringe within the housing between a first position and a second position. The syringe carrier can be substantially transparent. The syringe carrier can have first and second legs and an extension disposed therebetween, and at least a portion of the extension can be configured to align with the window and the reservoir when the syringe carrier is in the first position.
ELECTRONICALLY-CONTROLLED CAPTURING SYSTEM FOR DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEMS
An electronically-controlled capturing system for capturing data representing an amount of a drug expelled or discharged from a drug reservoir includes an electronic circuit including an electric energy unit, a processing unit operable by electric power obtained from the electric energy unit and operable to acquire data, and an electronic storage unit connected to the processing unit and configured to store the acquired data. The processing unit is operable to write the acquired data in the storage unit and is operable to read and provide the stored data from the electronic storage unit. The capturing system also includes a data reading disabling unit operably connected to the processing unit , the electronic storage unit and/or the electric energy unit. The data reading disabling unit is switchable into an activated state, in which the data reading disabling unit persistently prevents readout or providing of stored data from the electronic storage unit.
