NON-INVASIVE SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IN-SITU PHOTOBIOMODULATION

Products, compositions, systems, and methods for modifying a target structure which mediates or is associated with a biological activity, including treatment of conditions, disorders, or diseases mediated by or associated with a target structure, such as a virus, cell, subcellular structure or extracellular structure. The methods may be performed in situ in a non-invasive manner by application of an initiation energy to a subject thus producing an effect on or change to the target structure directly or via a modulation agent. The methods may further be performed by application of an initiation energy to a subject in situ to activate a pharmaceutical agent directly or via an energy modulation agent, optionally in the presence of one or more plasmonics active agents, thus producing an effect on or change to the target structure. Kits containing products or compositions formulated or configured and systems for use in practicing these methods.

Controlling light exposure for circadian phase management

This disclosure pertains to a system configured to control light exposure for circadian phase management and/or light deficient disorders of a subject. The system comprises a user interface, physiological sensors configured to generate output signals conveying physiological data of the subject, and a light control valve configured to block or reduce blue light ambient radiation reaching eyes of the subject. Processors are in communication with the user interface, the physiological sensors, the light control valve, and radiation generators. The processors cause the system to receive physiological goals of the subject, determine a light control plan based on the physiological goals, the physiological data, environmental data, and time data. The system operates the light control valve to block or reduce blue light ambient radiation based on the light control plan, and generate, using the one or more radiation generators, therapeutic light radiation based on the light control plan.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SLOWING BRAIN ATROPHY

Systems and methods of the present disclosure are directed to neural stimulation via non-invasive sensory stimuli. The non-invasive sensory stimuli can reduce neuroinflammation, improving synaptic plasticity and stimulating neural networking, and improving microglial-mediated clearance of cerebral insults, which would otherwise contribute to the progression of brain atrophy, by inducing synchronized gamma oscillations in at least one region of a brain in a subject. Stimulations can adjust, control or otherwise manage the frequency of the neural oscillations to provide beneficial effects to one or more cognitive states or cognitive functions of the brain, while mitigating or preventing adverse consequences on a cognitive state or cognitive function that stem from progression of brain atrophy.

Lighting system for circadian control and enhanced performance

Systems tune, control, or remediate the intrinsic Circadian clock. A light controller sets spectral distribution, intensity of a bioactive spectral band to shift or entrain circadian response to enhance performance and/or synchronize with local or expected conditions. The systems enhance performance under conditions that might be changing, disrupted, or otherwise present an irregular phase or unnatural change in the subject's circadian status, for example, due to geographically discontinuous activity or spectrally deficient workplace illumination, or due to divergent individual sleep/wake behaviors of subjects in a structured group activity. An illumination recipe that compensates for the deficiency of lighting or of participant sleep or behavior patterns, or age- or disease-related changes, to evoke, shift, or align circadian response and improve behaviors such as classroom alertness, relaxation, excitability, attention, or focus. Systems may receive sensed light values and automatically apply high- and/or low-CER illumination to effect the intended circadian phase.
