The present disclosure provides certain N-Acylethanolamide derivatives, and uses relating thereto.

Ophthalmic compositions

The present disclosure provides an ophthalmic composition comprising 4-(3-amino-1-(isoquinolin-6-ylamino)-1-oxopropan-2-yl)benzyl 2,4-dimethylbenzoate or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts; about 0.01% weight/volume to about 1.0% weight/volume of a buffer; and about 0.01% weight/volume to about 10% weight/volume of a tonicity agent.

Vectors Conditionally Expressing Therapeutic Proteins, Host Cells Comprising the Vectors, and Uses Thereof

This invention relates to the field of therapeutics. Most specifically, the invention provides methods of generating conditionally expressing vectors for one or more immuunomodulators under the control of a gene expression modulation system in the presence of activating ligand and uses for therapeutic purposes in animals. These vector may be provided to treat a variety of disorders, e.g., neoplastic disorders, through direct injection or through in vitro engineered cells, such as dendritic cells.

POLYMORPHIC AND AMORPHOUS FORMS OF (R)-2-HYDROXY-2-METHYL-4-(2,4,5-TRIMETHYL-3,6-DIOXOCYCLOHEXA-1,4-DIENYL)BUTANAMIDE

Disclosed herein are polymorphic and amorphous forms of anhydrate, hydrate, and solvates of (R)-2-hydroxy-2-methyl-4-(2,4,5-trimethyl-3,6-dioxocyclohexa-1,4-dienyl)butanamide and methods of using such compositions for treating or suppressing oxidative stress disorders, including mitochondrial disorders, impaired energy processing disorders, neurodegenerative diseases and diseases of aging. Further disclosed are methods of making such polymorphic and amorphous forms.

Composite Lacrimal Insert and Related Methods

Lacrimal implants, methods of making lacrimal implants, and methods of treating ocular, respiration or other diseases or disorders using lacrimal implants are disclosed.

TREATMENT OF ERYTHROPOIETIN (EPO) RELATED DISEASES BY INHIBITION OF NATURAL ANTISENSE TRANSCRIPT TO EPO
20180010131 · 2018-01-11 ·

Oligonucleotide compounds modulate expression and/or function of Erythropoietin (EPO) polynucleotides and encoded products thereof. Methods for treating diseases associated with Erythropoietin (EPO) comprise administering one or more oligonucleotide compounds designed to inhibit the EPO natural antisense transcript to patients.

GLUCOCEREBROSIDASE MODULATORS AND USES THEREOF

The invention provides compounds for modulating glycosidases, prodrugs of the compounds, and pharmaceutical compositions including the compounds or prodrugs of the compounds.

COMPOSITIONS FOR THE SUSTAINED RELEASE OF ANTI-GLAUCOMA AGENTS TO CONTROL INTRAOCULAR PRESSURE

Controlled release dosage formulations for the delivery of active agents, especially for treatment of eye diseases or disorders, such as glaucoma, have been developed. These provide release of the active agent, such as ECA or a derivative thereof, for an effective period of time.

Smoking device
11707089 · 2023-07-25 · ·

Apparatus and methods are described for use with a portion of plant material that includes at least one active ingredient. A vaporizing unit includes a heating element configured to heat the plant material, and a sensor configured to detect an indication of airflow rate through the vaporizing unit. Control circuitry is configured to receive an indication of the airflow rate through the vaporizing unit, and, in response thereto, to determine a smoking profile that is desired by the user. The control circuitry drives the heating element to vaporize the active ingredient of the plant material by heating the plant material according to the determined smoking profile. The control circuitry dynamically updates the smoking profile in response to changes in airflow rate over the course of a smoking session. Other applications are also described.
