An atomizer nozzle for the automatically dispensing of a liquid comprises: a main body; a dispensing head; and a locking assembly. The main body comprises: an inlet configured to be supplied with the liquid; an outlet; and a cavity extending from the inlet to the outlet. The dispensing head, movable along the cavity, is configured to dispense the liquid beyond the outlet, outside the atomizer nozzle. The locking assembly comprises a thermosensitive element configured to break at a predetermined temperature. The locking assembly is configured to: lock the dispensing head in a locked position at a distance from the outlet; and automatically release the dispensing head from the locked position when the thermosensitive element reaches the predetermined temperature. The dispensing head is further configured to move along the cavity when released, thereby reducing the distance until it is eliminated, and to dispense the liquid by protruding from the outlet.

Orifice plate flow path stabilizer

An orifice plate for an injector is provided, which includes a base portion disposed along a base plane. An offset portion is unitarily formed with the base portion. The offset portion is at least partially disposed outside of the base plane. The offset portion defines a flow entry side and a flow exit side, and the offset portion defines a plurality of exit apertures therethrough. A plurality of projections extends from the flow entry side of the offset portion. The plurality of projections is configured to contact an injector surface. An injector and a reductant delivery unit incorporating such an orifice plate are also provided.

Protection and installation device for fire protection sprinklers

A method and device for protecting and installing a fire protection sprinkler assembly having a thermally responsive trigger. The method includes shielding and torqueing a fire protection sprinkler with a protective device having a torque assist portion. The protective device includes a first and second member strapped about the sprinkler assembly. Each of the members of the protective device has a first lateral end and a second lateral end disposed about the thermally responsive trigger. At least one of members has a concave segment and a convex segment formed between the first lateral end and the second lateral end. The convex and concave segments define therebetween an external torque assist surface of the protective device that can be used to manually torque and install the sprinkler assembly.
