Playground equipment with rolls
A playground equipment comprising an array structure of networked ropes arranged in a rectangular array of parallelly arranged first ropes and intersecting second ropes and one or more rolls connected to a first rope, between two neighbouring second ropes wherein each roll comprises an inner clamping part configured for non-slideable fixation to the respective first rope, and an outer part attachable to the inner clamping part
wherein the inner clamping part and the outer part are in non-slideable connection relative to each other and wherein the outer part is rotatable relative to the inner clamping part.
LIFT, DROP, SWING, AND ATTENUATION APPARATUS AND METHOD
A tower may support a horizontal track and a vertical climbing wall therebelow. A trolley, movable along the track, may be selectively driven toward and away from the tower by belay lines, line and capstan, positive drive, or some combination. Belay lines reeved over pulleys on the trolley may be taken up and paid out independently from the trolley, while fixed or moving. A rider may climb, be lifted, or both to near the intersection of the tower and track, from there to fall or jump into a controllable trajectory such as swinging or simulating a parachute landing. Swinging may be rapidly attenuated almost entirely by “bumps,” lifting a rider to remove momentum and kinetic energy as a rider moves toward a pivot point overhead. Control may be simplified based on sensing and using timing past bottom dead center (BDC).
FITNESS SYSTEM, FITNESS ASSEMBLY ARRANGEMENT AND FUNCTIONAL FITNESS ELEMENTS
A suspension training based functional fitness element (11, 31) comprising: an essentially planar element (22) having an upper edge, a lower edge and two side edges, said planar element (22) being designed to form a pivotable connection to a support element (32) along said upper edge of the planar element (22), a first elongated element (23, 32, 52) connected to said planar clement (22) at a first connection point at said lower edge of the planar element (22), a second elongated element (23, 32, 52) connected to said planar element (22) at a second connection point at said lower edge of the planar element (22), and a first and second handle (24), said first and second handle (24) being connected to said first and second elongated elements (23) respectively, whereby that said first and second connection points are arranged such that there is a horizontal offset between the first and second connection points and such that there is a vertical offset between the first connection point and the pivotable connection and a vertical offset between the second connection point and the pivotable connection.
Multi-Layered Fabric Based Climbing Structure
A multi-layered climbing apparatus in accordance with embodiments of the invention are disclosed. In one embodiment, a multi-layered climbing apparatus includes a plurality of vertical support members, including a first vertical support member, a second vertical support member, a third vertical support member, and a fourth vertical support member; a plurality of climbing panels, where the plurality of climbing panels includes a first climbing panel and a second climbing panel; where the first climbing panel is attached to the first vertical support member, the second vertical support member, and the third vertical support member; where the second climbing panel is attached to the fourth vertical support member and at least one of the vertical support members that are attached to the first climbing panel; and where the first climbing panel and the second climbing panel are different heights relative to each other.
SLACKLINE ACTIVITY DEVICE
Disclosed is a slackline activity device including a main line and an anchor line configured to be tautly connected to each other and suspended between fixed objects. The mainline includes two webbings which form pockets. The pockets are locations where the two webbings are not in contact with either other, surrounded by two locations where the webbings are in contact with each other. The pockets may be formed by the webbings being fixed to each other or being woven together. Hangers, such as carabineers, are inserted into the pockets, and activity devices are suspended therefrom. Such a device may be used for recreation and exercise.
PLAYSET WITH INTEGRATED WORKOUT STATIONS
A fitness-based playset with integrated exercise equipment allowing parents or other adults to play alongside their children. The play equipment may include a slide, swings, play deck, and other various climbing apparatus. The exercise equipment may include pull-up bars, dip bars, box jumps, core training station, squat rack, and climbing rope. The equipment has a modular design which allows one or more pieces to be connected to or removed from the main structure to provide various configurations.
Shade-providing structure
The present invention relates to an easily assembled and disassembled shade-providing structure, such as may be mounted to a playground assembly. The shade-providing structure comprises an outer frame defining an interior space and a canopy that may be positioned in that interior space. The canopy has one or more rods around its periphery, such as may be inserted through one or more pockets in the canopy fabric. Each of the outer frame and the rod(s) has a set of apertures configured to receive a locking fastener and a set of apertures configured to receive a jack screw or similar tensioning device. Accordingly, to assembly the structure, one or more jack screws can be used to provide the canopy with a desired tension and then locking fasteners can be used to secure the canopy to the outer frame.
PLAYGROUND APPARATUS
A playground apparatus comprises a frame adapted to rest on a ground surface, the frame comprising a pair of laterally opposed outermost sides having first ends arranged towards an outermost end of the frame and second ends opposed to the first ends, wherein the outermost sides taper inwardly towards the first ends. Monkey bars are supported by the frame above the ground surface that comprise a plurality of graspable rungs arranged in a row. The playground apparatus also comprises a pair of upright support poles, wherein uppermost sections of the upright support poles are connected to the frame towards the first ends such that the uppermost sections are laterally inwardly disposed relative to the second ends. Lowermost ends of the upright support poles extend outwardly away from one another and towards the outermost end to increase a surface area of the ground surface engaged by the upright support poles.
Fitness system, fitness assembly arrangement and functional fitness elements
A suspension training based functional fitness element (11, 31) comprising: an essentially planar element (22) having an upper edge, a lower edge and two side edges, said planar element (22) being designed to form a pivotable connection to a support element (32) along said upper edge of the planar element (22), a first elongated element (23, 32, 52) connected to said planar element (22) at a first connection point at said lower edge of the planar element (22), a second elongated element (23, 32, 52) connected to said planar element (22) at a second connection point at said lower edge of the planar element (22), and a first and second handle (24), said first and second handle (24) being connected to said first and second elongated elements (23) respectively, whereby that said first and second connection points are arranged such that there is a horizontal offset between the first and second connection points and such that there is a vertical offset between the first connection point and the pivotable connection and a vertical offset between the second connection point and the pivotable connection.
