Opposite reciprocal movement rehabilitation
Some embodiments include an outer tube, a pivot structure, an inner tube, a rotational element, and a central rod. The pivot structure perpendicularly intersects the outer tube at a midpoint of the outer tube. The inner tube is coaxially within the outer tube. A first portion of the inner tube is within the outer tube on one side of the pivot structure. A second portion of the inner tube is within the outer tube on another side of the pivot structure. The rotational element couples to the pivot structure, rotates about an axis of the pivot structure, and interfaces with the first and second portions of the inner tube to cause rotation of one portion of the inner tube in a first rotational direction to counter-rotate the other portion of the inner tube in a second rotational direction. The central rod is within the inner tube and translates axially.
Wearable resistance training device
The described embodiments relate to systems, methods, and apparatuses for providing an adjustable amount of tension to various portions of a body of a user. The tension can be exhibited by cables that extend from the body mounted device. The cables can be routed through a pulley assembly located with cables guides of the body mounted device. A user can adjust the tension of the cables using knobs located at the ends of the cable guides. The cables can terminate at bands, which can be attached to appendages of the user during training. When the user is wearing the body mounted device, a mounting plate of the body mounted device can conform to the shoulders of the user, and a separate plate of the body mounted device can be depressed against a back side of the user.
Resistance exercise apparatus enabling concurrent multiple workout movements
A resistance exercise apparatus enabling multiple concurrent workout/exercise movements includes a pair of handles adapted to be gripped by the hands of a user, a pair of first couplers connected to the pair of handles, a second coupler, a pair of ankle bands being adjustable to grip lower legs of the user above the ankles, and a plurality of elastic cords made of flexible and stretchable material. Selected ones of the plurality of elastic cords connect to and extend between the pair of first couplers and the second coupler and also connect to and extend between the second coupler and the pair of ankle bands.
VOLLEYBALL TRAINING DEVICE
In an embodiment, a volleyball training device includes a handle with two sliding grips. The sliding grips may each slide between one end of the handle and the center of the handle. The handle may include an anchor connected through its center. One or more foot straps, each including an anchor, may be connected to the handle anchor with a resistance band or strap. Two foot straps may be connected to the handle anchor with separate resistance bands, or by s single resistance band threaded through the handle anchor.
CALF EXERCISE DEVICE
The device as disclosed herein is simple and easy to use, and inexpensive to produce. It provides a good calf workout from home for the calf and lower leg. It comprises a foot baseplate having a lower curved surface or frame, a series of straps to attach the user's foot to the baseplate and an attachment point for a resistance band.
Spring exercise system and method of exercising
A spring exercise system and method of exercising that allows a user to perform a full body, low-impact style of exercise. The system utilizes a non-fixed extension spring that stretches and generates resistance when pulling and pressing forces are applied. The extension spring or springs are stretchable between multiple types of interchangeable grasp handles which may include any combination of a resilient loop handle with or without double “D” rings, a single rigid handle, and/or a resilient double loop handle. The spring may have a swiveling link or other mechanism/structure that joins the free ends of the spring to the grasp handles allowing a 360° rotation. The grasp handles are used with combinations of hands and feet, arms and legs to generate an extension of resistance that stretches, strengthens and tones muscles, enhances flexibility, core strength, joint stability, and muscle balance.
Archery training device
Embodiments herein describe an archery training device for improving shooting accuracy. The device has a rigid body graspable by one hand, an elastic section for providing resistance, and a string coupled to the elastic section with a loop on the opposite end. The device further includes an adjustable string length and adjustable resistance to match a particular configuration of a bow for a particular sporting enthusiast or hunter.
Multifunctional leg strengthening device
This present invention relates to a multifunctional leg strengthening device for users to strengthen the lower extremities. The multifunctional leg strengthening device includes a resistance band that is removably attached to an exercise ball, such that the resistance band can be easily held by the user's hand while holding the exercise ball between the calves or thighs for performing leg strengthening exercises. The innovative multifunctional leg strengthening device may comprise a rigid or flexible resistance band. Also, the band may feature a pocket to accommodate the rigid stick or rod inside the pocket. The rigid stick design helps accommodate those with decreased lower body strength, thereby ensuring the muscles can be strengthened and rehabilitated.
EXERCISE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A workout device that allows for at home Nordic hamstring curls using a. doorframe or other immovable object is disclosed.
Adjustable strap apparatus and method for use
Embodiments of the present invention provide an adjustable strap apparatus and methods of instructing a patient to perform an exercise using the adjustable strap apparatus. An apparatus according to embodiments of the present invention includes a strap, a plurality of hook patches and a plurality of loop patches joined thereto. A hook patch and a loop patch of the present invention are removably engageable to form pull loops from ends of the apparatus and to form a pull belt between the pull loops. A therapist may instruct a patient to perform a mobilization exercise or a stretching exercise by forming pull loops about extremities of the patient and pulling on the apparatus without grasping to exert a stabilization force or resistance force upon a part of the body of the patient.
