There is provided a portable wall-mountable sports stick rack. The rack has a compliant support having a front side and an opposed rear side; a plurality of sports stick retaining channels along the front side adapted to receive a sports stick therethrough; and an adhesive layer associated with the rear side, the adhesive layer configured to removeably mount the sports stick rack to a wall surface.

Hockey Stick Blade and Shaft Constructs Using Boron

A sporting implement, such as a blade or shaft for a hockey stick, may include a boron-enhanced fiber material configured to increase the strength and reduce the weight of the structure. This boron-enhanced material may form all or a portion of the sporting implement.

HOCKEY PUCK HAVING A TRACKING DEVICE
20220409973 · 2022-12-29 ·

The present technology generally relates to a puck comprising a body and a tracking device receivable in the body. The tracking device is generally aligned with a center of gravity of the body of the puck and with a geometrical center of the body of the puck.

SPORT STICKS CONFIGURED TO SELECTIVELY DISASSEMBLE AND HAVING ADJUSTABLE STRENGTH AND FLEX CHARACTERISTICS
20220409970 · 2022-12-29 ·

Sport sticks including a shaft, a plurality of different shaft connectors, and a head are disclosed. The shaft includes at least a first shaft section and a second shaft section. Each of the shaft connectors may couple the first shaft section to the second shaft section. The sport stick is configured to selectively convert between an assembled configuration and a disassembled configuration. In the assembled configuration, the first section, the first shaft connector, and the second section are coupled together. In the disassembled configuration, one or more of the first section, the first shaft connector, and the second section are selectively decoupled. Each one of the plurality of shaft connectors defines at least one of a unique strength characteristic of the sport stick and a unique flexibility characteristic of the sport stick when the sport stick is in the assembled configuration.

Hockey-stick blade with tailored performance regions

A hockey-stick includes a blade and a shaft. The blade includes a heel region, a toe region spaced longitudinally from the heel region, and a mid-region located between the heel region and the toe region. The blade optionally also includes a hosel to which the shaft is attached. One or more tuning rods or similar structures are positioned in the blade to increase the blade's stiffness to substantially match the stiffness of the shaft. The tuning rods are optionally located in the mid-region of the blade and may extend into the hosel and, in some cases, into the shaft or the toe region.

Hockey stick with spine-reinforced paddle
11534669 · 2022-12-27 · ·

A construct for a hockey stick blade and paddle structure having a spine that protrudes from a back face and provides structural rigidity, as well as recessed areas that reduce the mass of the paddle structure.

Sports stick and ball package
11534670 · 2022-12-27 ·

A sporting goods merchandising display for a sports stick and ball package, as for playing the sports of ball hockey and lacrosse, wherein a sports ball having a diameter D.sub.1 is captured between spaced apart circular holes, each having a diameter D.sub.2 less than the diameter D.sub.1, in an open-ended packaging sleeve removably locked at a fixed position on the sports stick. Such packaging combines the sports stick and ball to prevent separation while on display but permits tactile access to the product components by sporting goods customers. A purchaser can easily remove the packaging sleeve to separate the product components without the aid of a cutting instrument.

Systems and methods for tracking a sports ball assembly in real time during a sporting event are disclosed. A structure of the sports ball assembly is also disclosed. The sports ball assembly comprises at least one electronic circuit embedded or attached to a sports ball. The sports ball assembly is in network communication with a server processor via at least two receivers within a sports arena. The sports ball assembly generates and transmits UWB data packets comprising movement-related data for the sports ball assembly in real time at a predetermined rate. The at least two receivers receive the UWB data packets and transmit to the server processor with time stamps. The server processor is operable to determine a movement of the sports ball assembly based on the UWB data packets and the time stamps received from the at least two receivers.

Hockey stick with variable stiffness shaft
