MECHANICAL SYSTEM FOR SECURING EXERCISE EQUIPMENT TO A SMOOTH FLOOR SURFACE UTILIZING LOCKABLE SUCTION CUPS
20230020081 · 2023-01-19 · ·

A mechanical system for adhering various types of exercise equipment to a smooth floor surface, the system having lockable suction cups that are attached to a first planar portion of the exercise equipment to adhere the exercise equipment to the smooth floor surface when the exercise equipment is in an operational position. Additional lockable suction cups can be attached to a second planar portion of the exercise equipment to adhere the exercise equipment to the smooth floor surface when the exercise equipment is in a storage position. The lockable suction cups support at least a portion of the exercise equipment in the operational or storage positions.

Versatile bench and smart seat for an exercise appliance

A controllable tension force is provided on a first cable. The first cable has a terminal end wherein the terminal end is adapted to attach to an accessory. The first cable is coupled to a motor. The first cable and motor are part of a resistance unit. The resistance unit is coupled to a user support unit having a sliding seat.

Monitoring and tracking athletic activity

Tracking and monitoring athletic activity offers individuals with additional motivation to continue such behavior. An individual may track his or her athletic activity by completing goals. These goals may be represented by real-world objects such as food items, landmarks, buildings, statues, other physical structures, toys and the like. Each object may correspond to an athletic activity goal and require an amount of athletic activity to complete the goal. For example, a donut goal object may correspond to an athletic activity goal of burning 350 calories. The user may progress from goal object to goal object. Goal objects may increase in difficulty (e.g., amount of athletic activity required) and might only be available for selection upon completing an immediately previous goal object, a number of goal objects, an amount of athletic activity and the like.

Motion sickness is reduced for users of mechanical systems used to practice sports that comprise an immersive virtual reality device. In particular, the use of prediction and interpolation algorithms enable fluid movements to be displayed within the virtual environment.

Exercise Machine Inclination Device

An exercise machine inclination device for providing variable exercise intensity on an exercise machine by inclining the exercise machine. The exercise machine inclination device generally includes a base adapted for being positioned upon a floor, a support structure adapted for supporting the exercise machine, a hinge pivotally connecting the base and the support structure and an actuator connected between the base and the support structure, wherein the actuator adjusts an angle of the support structure.

Exercise machine monitoring and instruction system

An exercise machine monitoring and instruction system for the movement of an element of an exercise machine by an exerciser and providing automated feedback to the exerciser to help improve the exercise in real-time. The exercise machine monitoring and instruction system generally includes an exercise machine having a movable element that moves between a first position and a second position in a reciprocating manner, a sensor that detects a real-time position of the movable element, a processor in communication with the sensor to receive the real-time position data from the sensor related to a position of the movable element and a feedback device in communication with the processor that provides real-time instructions to the exerciser on how to adjust their workout to achieve a desired result.

PRESSURE CHAMBER AND LIFT FOR DIFFERENTIAL AIR PRESSURE SYSTEM WITH MEDICAL DATA COLLECTION CAPABILITIES

A differential air pressure system has a pressure bag with windows and preferred folding configuration such that when the bag is folded no window is folded. The pressure bag is supported by a lift support that is proximal to a user control panel and adjacent to or nearly adjacent to the user who is coupled to the pressure bag. A treadmill base for use with differential air pressure equipment is provided. There are various improvements provided to adapt the operations of the DAP system via the use of separate pressure volume and non-pressure volume portions of the treadmill base. Various improvements to serviceability and repairs are provided by placement of components outside of the pressure volume portion or by providing one or more pressure volume access points.

ROWING MACHINE INCLUDING A GEAR SHIFT MECHANISM
