In-goal ball return or collection device
An in-goal ball return device, the ball return device is a material implement having a front edge, side edges, and a rear edge. The device is configured for attachment within a goal, the goal having a supporting net mesh. The device has a plurality of closed loops disposed along the rear edge and side edges. The device includes a lacing cord for threading through any number of the closed loops and the net to secure the material implement to the net mesh. The device forms a continuous angled surface between the front and closed portion of the goal when attached.
PORTABLE DRILL INSTRUCTOR FOR A SPORT
A method for portable drill instruction for a sport can include: capturing a live video of a player of the sport in a venue for the sport playing a ball launched from a ball machine during a training drill for the player conducted in the venue; determining in response to the live video whether or not the player satisfies a training goal of the training drill when playing the ball; and providing a real-time feedback to the player during the training drill that indicates to the player whether or not the training goal is satisfied.
GLOVE
A glove for a goalkeeper includes a base knit and a plurality of fingers. Two or more of the fingers can include a compression knit area configured to be located circumjacent the proximal interphalangeal joint of the fingers of a wearer. A wrist collar with a compression knit area can be configured to be located circumjacent the radiocarpal joint of a wearer. The compression knit areas of the fingers and the wrist collar can be configured to provide support to the fingers and wrist of a wearer, respectively, in a manner similar to athletic tape.
SPORTING SENSOR-BASED APPARATUS, SYSTEM, METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
According to one exemplary embodiment, an apparatus, system, method and/or computer program product may provide an athletic training performance analysis apparatus including at least one athletic training performance analysis device including at least one electronic sensor coupled to the at least one athletic training performance analysis device; at least one user interface coupled to the at least one athletic training performance analysis device configured to interact with a user to receive a user selection of at least one training performance analysis routine, the at least one user interface may include: at least one electronic computer processor coupled to the at least one electronic sensor; at least one input device coupled to the at least one electronic computer processor to receive the user selection; at least one output device coupled to the at least one electronic computer processor to provide output to the user; at least one electronic memory coupled to the at least one electronic computer processor; and at least one of: wherein the at least one electronic computer processor is configured to save or retrieve the at least one training performance analysis routine from the at least one memory; where the at least one electronic computer processor is configured to electronically monitor and electronically analyze the at least one training performance analysis routine based on the at least one electronic sensor; wherein the at least one electronic computer processor is configured to randomize at least one challenge by the at least one athletic training performance analysis device; or wherein the electronic computer processor is configured to at least one of: combine a plurality of previously saved of the at least one training performance analysis routine, or shuffle a plurality of previously saved of the at least one training performance analysis routine.
Heads up sports training system
The sports training system includes a first housing including a transmitter; a second housing including a receiver and a wireless communication module; a plurality of illuminating targets in communication with the wireless communication module; and a remote control in wireless communication with the transmitter, the receiver, and the plurality of illuminating targets. In operation, the transmitter projects a transmission and the receiver is positioned laterally away from the transmitter and receives the transmission. In response to an object passing between the transmitter and receiver, the receiver is blocked from receiving the transmission. In response to the receiver being blocked from receiving the transmission, a selected one of the targets illuminates. Input from the remote control controls operation of one of the transmitter, the receiver, or one of the plurality of illuminating targets.
Athletic performance monitoring systems and methods in a team sports environment
Systems and methods for sensing and monitoring various athletic performance metrics, e.g., during the course of a game, a practice, a training session, training drills, and the like, are described. These systems and methods can provide useful metrics for players and coaches relating to athletic performances in various sports, including various team sports.
Computer implemented American soccer training and evaluation method and system
A computer-implemented American soccer training and evaluation method that includes subjecting a drilling user to pre-defined drilling protocol(s) of a plurality of American soccer drilling assemblies and obtain, from each pre-defined drilling protocol(s) of the plurality of American soccer drilling assemblies and from at least one sensor on each of the assemblies, at least one user physical characteristic of the drilling user. The user physical characteristic is communicated to an administrative server over a network, where it is stored and used to create a drilling user performance profile having individualized performance comparisons with respect to the at least one user physical characteristic of the drilling user and a performance benchmark. Then, the drilling user performance profile is communicated to at least one of a plurality of electronic computing devices of a plurality of consuming users for evaluation and review.
APPARATUS FOR AN INFLATABLE SPORTS BALL
An apparatus for permitting electrical connection between the exterior of an inflatable sports ball and electronics located inside the inflatable sports ball is provided. The apparatus comprises a support member, the support member having separate first and second through-holes provided therein for respectively connecting the exterior of the inflatable sports ball with the interior of the inflatable sports ball. An electrical connection port is located in the first through-hole of the support member for permitting an electrical connection to be made through the first through-hole. An air valve is located in the second through-hole of the support member, the air valve comprising an aperture for selective communication of air.
GOALKEEPER SOCCER GLOVES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF GOALKEEPER SKILLS
Provided in this disclosure is a goalkeeper soccer glove. The glove is designed to have a low coefficient of friction on the palm surface. In one or more embodiments, this is done through using limestone neoprene.
Systems and methods for tracking sports balls configured with electronic components
Systems and methods for tracking a sports ball assembly in real time during a sporting event are disclosed. A structure of the sports ball assembly is also disclosed. The sports ball assembly comprises at least one electronic circuit embedded or attached to a sports ball. The sports ball assembly is in network communication with a server processor via at least two receivers within a sports arena. The sports ball assembly generates and transmits UWB data packets comprising movement-related data for the sports ball assembly in real time at a predetermined rate. The at least two receivers receive the UWB data packets and transmit to the server processor with time stamps. The server processor is operable to determine a movement of the sports ball assembly based on the UWB data packets and the time stamps received from the at least two receivers.
