The grip section exhibits an insertion and/or removal opening for removal from and/or for insertion of the avalanche probe into the shaft along an insertion axis. A tent can have the avalanche shovel as a tent pole.
AVALANCHE SURVIVAL DEVICE COMPRISING A BREATHING APPARATUS
A device, method and system improve the breathable air quality of the environment in the region of a specific part of a body, such as around the mouth and nose area of a person buried in an avalanche. The device includes at least one inlet, at least one pump, at least one power resource, a controller, and at least one outlet. An inlet of the pump is constructed to act as a chamber. A first end of the chamber is connected to the inlet and a second end of the chamber is an opening towards the outside of the device. When the pump is activated, the pump will provide a vacuum in the chamber and suck air from the surroundings into the pump through the second end of the chamber and the chamber.
Avalanche transceiver and method for operating an avalanche transceiver
The invention relates to an avalanche transceiver, having a transmitting unit for transmitting at least one transmit signal, a receiving unit for receiving at least one transmit signal from at least one further avalanche transceiver, and a control device for controlling at least one loudspeaker. The control device is designed to control the at least one loudspeaker to output at least one voice message on the basis of at least one event. The at least one event is associated with a search for the at least one further avalanche transceiver. The invention further relates to a method for operating such an avalanche transceiver.
AVALANCHE SHOVEL AND TENT
An avalanche shovel has a shaft and a grip section that is formed and/or arranged at one shaft end The avalanche shovel has an avalanche probe which can be arranged in the shaft of the avalanche shovel, wherein the grip section exhibits a grip area for gripping and/or holding the avalanche shovel and/or such a grip area is formed on the grip section. The grip section exhibits an insertion and/or removal opening for removal from and/or for insertion of the avalanche probe into the shaft along an insertion axis. A tent can have the avalanche shovel as a tent pole.
Device for inflating multiple envelopes
A portable safety device (100) for inflating multiple envelopes includes at least one inlet for surrounding air (1), at least one inflation system, at least one enriched air or gas zone, at least one nonreturn valve (2), at least one connector (3) connected to the at least one inflatable envelope (4). The device also includes at least one separation wall (8), which compartmentalizes at least the end of at the connector (3) opening into at least two substantially hermetically independent inflatable envelopes (4).
A HARMONIC RADAR REFLECTOR
A harmonic reflector circuit comprising an antenna connected to a non-linear circuit via a matching circuit, wherein the harmonic reflector circuit is configured to receive a signal at a receive frequency (fRX), and configured to transmit said received signal at a transmit frequency (fTX), where the transmit frequency is a multiple of the receive frequency, the harmonic reflector circuit wherein the receive frequency (fRX) is in an interval from a first frequency to a second frequency, where the first frequency is at least 800 MHz; and the second frequency is at least 34 MHz larger than the first frequency; the received signal is transmitted at the transmit frequency (fTX) with an output power (Pout) of at least 70% of the maximum available output power (Pmax).
Rescue device with an avalanche airbag
A rescue device with a hybrid foldable avalanche airbag, the airbag containing at least one outer gas compartment that surrounds at least one inner air compartment. The outer compartment constitutes a pneumatic support frame for the airbag connected via a discharge valve with at least one pressurized gas cartridge. The inner air compartment is provided with at least one check valve through which ambient air is drawn in. The folded airbag is placed in a pocket of a backpack or in a pouch provided with shoulder straps connected to a buckled belt forming thereby a vest.
Deployment unit for an avalanche rescue system, use of an actuating handle, and deployment device
A deployment unit for an avalanche rescue system with an actuating handle has a coupling piece and a coupling element that can be connected to a function unit of the avalanche rescue system. The coupling piece and the coupling element are displaceable in a coupling channel in a handle holder of the deployment unit and are held in coupling connection by the coupling channel. The coupling connection is releasable when the coupling piece, the coupling element or both exit(s) from the coupling channel.
Buried Person Search Device Using Detachable Module
A buried person search device using a detachable module is disclosed. The device includes a ground drone 10 deployed at a site of a collapse disaster, the ground drone 10 having a communication device 80 and a first beacon, a camera device 40 mounted on the ground drone 10 to photograph surroundings of the ground drone 10, a storage 50 installed on the ground drone 10, a plurality of repeater modules 60 connected by a wireless communication network to relay wireless communications between the ground drone 10, a flying drone 32, and a command and control center 100, each of the repeater modules 60 having a second beacon, and a sensing device 70 installed on the ground drone 10 or the repeater modules 60 to collect a sound, wherein the storage 50 accommodates the repeater modules 60, and throws the repeater modules 60 in response to an operation signal.
Wearable airbag device
A wearable airbag device for protecting the hip of a wearer includes an airbag adapted to be worn around the pelvis and inflatable with an inflation gas. The airbag includes: an inner wall configured to face the wearer at airbag deployment; an outer wall opposite the inner wall and having a circumferential edge jointed with that of the inner wall so that the airbag has a substantially board shape when inflated; a contact portion disposed in an upper reach of a stream of inflation gas and configured to be deployed at a side of the pelvis; a protecting portion configured to be deployed in such a manner as to extend downward from the contact portion for covering an outer side of the trochanter of femur at airbag deployment; and a float-preventing means for preventing the protecting portion from floating away from the body of the wearer at airbag deployment.
