Golf ball

An object of the present invention is to provide a golf ball having excellent shot feeling and flight distance. The present invention provides a golf ball comprising a spherical core, a first resin layer and a second resin layer, wherein the first resin layer is formed from a first resin composition containing (A) a polyamide resin, (B) a copolymer and/or a metal ion-neutralized product thereof, and (C) a thermoplastic elastomer, and having a ratio (flexural elastic modulus/slab hardness) of a flexural elastic modulus (MPa) to a slab hardness (Shore D hardness) in a range from 3 to 5; and the second resin layer is formed from a second resin composition containing (D) a polyamide resin, and (E) a copolymer and/or a metal ion-neutralized product thereof.

GOLF BALL HAVING AT LEAST ONE RADAR DETECTABLE MARK

A golf ball is disclosed herein that includes at least one radar detectable mark such that a projected pattern is formed when the at least one radar detectable mark is radially projected onto an outer surface of the golf ball. The projected pattern can have a first wave profile mapped along a path defined by a first spherical arc on the outer surface of the golf ball. The projected pattern can comprise at least one first crest and at least one first trough. The projected pattern can have a periodic function selected from: a sine wave, a sawtooth wave, a triangle wave, or a square wave.

The present disclosure provides a wireless signal transmitting ball to be used in practice or gameplay of a sport and/or other entertainment activities. The ball of the disclosure comprises a microprocessor unit configured to record, process, and transmit data to a paired device. Further disclosed is a method of actuating the ball between different modes. The ball could be used by players during practice to record data about their performance. The ball could also be used by players or game officials or referees to keep score, adjudicate and decide the gameplay. For example, the information about location of the ball could be used to track balls that could potentially be lost. Additionally, data about spin, trajectory, speed, force applied and the like could be used by players or broadcasters for gaining insights to add to viewing pleasure.

Graphene core golf ball with an integrated circuit

A golf ball with a core comprising polybutadiene and graphene with an embedded IC is disclosed herein. The golf ball preferably has a single core comprising polybutadiene and graphene. Alternatively, the golf ball has a dual core with an inner core comprising polybutadiene and graphene. Alternatively, the golf ball has a dual core with an outer core comprising polybutadiene and graphene.

The disclosed system can comprise a device that can be used to provide induction heating to one or more golf balls. The disclosed device comprises at least one induction coil and a housing that holds one or more golf balls. In some embodiments, the induction coil can take one or more turns around the housing. The induction coil generates a magnetic field surrounding the golf ball, inducing eddy currents in the central magnetic reactor within the golf ball interior. As a result, the golf ball is quickly, cleanly, and consistently heated without physical contact between the coil and the golf ball.

A golf ball includes a core and a cover. An n-layer (n is a natural number) partial mid layer is provided between the core and the cover. An area of the core in a region where the cover is laminated thereon is not less than 5.0% and not greater than 95.0% of a surface area of a phantom sphere. A hitting feel index Cx calculated using a thickness T.sub.0 (mm) of the cover laminated on the partial mid layer, a Shore D hardness C.sub.k of a kth layer (k is an integer from 1 to n) from the core side, a thickness T.sub.k (mm) of the kth layer, a Shore D hardness C of the cover, and an average thickness T (mm) of the cover, is less than 66.0. An absolute value |Cx−C| is not less than 1.0 and not greater than 5.0.
