The present invention relates to sports balls. A sports ball comprises a surface layer comprising a plurality of panels. The sports ball further comprises a lattice structure extending below the surface layer, wherein the lattice structure comprises a plurality of lattice cells comprising radially extending elements. The lattice cells which are adjacent to the surface layer have at least one dimension which is smaller than an average diameter of the panels.
PORTABLE OUTDOOR GAME KIT
Disclosed herein is a portable outdoor game kit that includes (a) a portable carrying case; (b) a boundary configured to be positioned on a ground surface and formed into a predetermined shape; (c) a plurality of targets configured to be positioned within the boundary when the boundary is positioned on the ground surface and formed into the predetermined shape; (d) a plurality of offensive implements configured for throwing towards and/or into at least one of the plurality of targets while the game kit is in use; and (e) a plurality of blocking implements configured to block or impede movement of the offensive implements towards the plurality of targets while the game kit is in use. Also disclosed herein is a method of playing a game with the disclosed portable outdoor game kit.
ADJUSTABLE WEIGHT SHOT
An adjustable weight shot system may include a core, inner and outer weight portions, and a body and cap. The inner weight portion may have two coupling hemispheres configured to receive the core in an inner weight portion cavity. Or the inner weight portion may be a hollow cylindrical portion configured to receive the core. The outer weight portion may have two coupling hemispheres configured to receive the inner weight portion in an outer weight portion cavity. Or the outer weight portion may be a hollow cylindrical portion configured to receive the inner weight portion. The body and cap may be configured to retainer the outer weight portion in a weight cavity defined by the body and cap.
Open architecture gimbaled navigation system using lattice shells
An inertial measurement unit includes a first spherical gimbal comprising a first lattice structure including a first plurality of trusses defining a first plurality of interstitial voids between the first plurality of trusses. The inertial measurement unit further includes a second spherical gimbal comprising a second lattice structure including a second plurality of trusses defining a second plurality of interstitial voids between the second plurality of trusses. The first spherical gimbal is positioned inside of the second spherical gimbal and pivotally coupled to the second spherical gimbal to form a gap between the first spherical gimbal and the second spherical gimbal. The inertial measurement unit further includes an instrument mount positioned within and pivotally coupled to the first spherical gimbal.
Golf Game
A game of golf deviates from USGA rules by use of a special marker that may be placed anywhere on a golf course, such as in a sand trap. A group of golfers initiate play from a location proximate the special marker. Play thereafter proceeds according to USGA rules until all players are on the putting green. Ball on the putting green are not marked and removed, but left in place where they can interfere with shots made by members of the group. Predetermined special events are associated with a reduction in points that are used to reduce the USGA score.

An inertial measurement unit includes a first spherical gimbal comprising a first lattice structure including a first plurality of trusses defining a first plurality of interstitial voids between the first plurality of trusses. The inertial measurement unit further includes a second spherical gimbal comprising a second lattice structure including a second plurality of trusses defining a second plurality of interstitial voids between the second plurality of trusses. The first spherical gimbal is positioned inside of the second spherical gimbal and pivotally coupled to the second spherical gimbal to form a gap between the first spherical gimbal and the second spherical gimbal. The inertial measurement unit further includes an instrument mount positioned within and pivotally coupled to the first spherical gimbal.
WIND TOLERANT BALL
The ball is a thin-walled hollow sphere that includes an array of apertures with dimples in a pattern that are concentric to the aperture array. Dimples are provided on the exterior surface of the ball between the apertures with the pattern and dimensions of the dimples varying based on proximity to the apertures. Internal protuberances are provided on the interior surface of the hollow ball such that the interior surface also manages aerodynamic airflow through the ball. Channels are also provided around each of the apertures within the ball which may intersect proximate dimples or be spaced therefrom. The ball also includes apertures having converging and diverging sidewalls that form a venturi shape to increase inflow air into the apertures and outflow air out of the apertures. Finally, the ball also maintains a weight:diameter ratio within a fixed range.

A multi-functional fitness device comprises a first supporting seat, a second supporting seat and a sphere. The first supporting seat and the second supporting seat are respectively provided with a first concave spherical surface and a second concave spherical surface matched with an outline of the sphere, and are oppositely arranged, with the sphere supported therebetween, two sides of the sphere are partially fitted and embedded into the first concave spherical surface and the second concave spherical surface respectively, at least one of the first supporting seat and the second supporting seat is movably connected to a surface of the sphere through the corresponding first concave spherical surface or second concave spherical surface, and adhered to the surface of the sphere to move, and an elastic member is connected between at least one opposite side edges of the first supporting seat and the second supporting seat.

Provided is a playing device which includes a spherical playing device body having a hollow interior, having a plurality of emission holes and one coupling hole on a surface thereof, and configured to be rolled and rotated by a pet, a core coupled to the interior of the playing device body through the coupling hole and having a plurality of vent holes on a surface thereof, a melody generating unit installed in the interior of the core and configured to generate a melody when the playing device is rolled and rotated, a light generating unit installed in the interior of the core and configured to generate light when the playing device is rolled and rotated, and a control unit installed in the interior of the core and configured to detect an impact generated when the playing device is rotated to operate the melody generating unit and the light generating unit.
