A golf ball verification system and method is described. The illustrative golf ball verification system includes balls, bays and at least one target. Each of the balls includes a unique ID indicator. Additionally, each of the bays includes a ball dispenser, a first ball ID reader, a first diverter, and a first reject ball chute. The first ball ID reader identifies any of the balls having unreadable ID indicators. The first diverter selects any of the balls having unreadable ID indicators for collection by the first reject ball chute. Furthermore, each target includes a ball detector, a second ball ID reader, a second diverter, and a second reject ball chute. The second ball ID reader identifies any of the balls having unreadable ID indicators. The second diverter selects the balls having unreadable ID indicators for collection by the second reject ball chute.

A device for moving a golf ball tee above a golf ball hitting surface comprises a chassis, cylindrical first and second in roller bodies mounted to the chassis, a cylindrical tee having a top end and a bottom end, and being compressed between and supported for translational movement by the first roller and the second roller, and a motor operatively connected to the first roller. The motor selectively causes rotation of the first roller in a first rotational direction, thereby moving the tee so that the top end thereof is positioned above the golf ball hitting surface, and selectively causes rotation of the first roller in a second rotational direction, thereby moving the tee so that the top end thereof is positioned below the golf ball hitting surface.

A system and associated method for recommending to a user an optimal starting tee for one or more golf course holes of a golf course, including a host terminal including an application including program(s) of instruction embodied in a non-transitory computer readable medium and executable by a processor to configure the application and a user interface configured to receive instructions from the user requesting a recommendation of the optimal starting tee for the user from a plurality of designated starting tees for the one or more golf course holes and to present the recommendation to the user, and an apparatus including program(s) of instruction embodied in a non-transitory computer readable medium and executable by a processor to configure the apparatus and a determination module configured to determine the optimal starting tee for the user from the plurality of designated starting tees based on golf course information and user information.

An apparatus and method for repetitively training a golf swing is disclosed. In some embodiments of the present apparatus, foot placement guides are provided to align a golfer's stance relative to a golf ball on a tee. Motion and other data capture create a swing profile for the golfer's swing, which is compared to the swing of a golf Pro, thus giving swing feedback to the golfer. The apparatus automatically resets the ball position after the swing, allowing the golfer to repeat the swing based on the received feedback while isolating other variables (such as inaccurate resetting of foot position).

A robot with a movable arm capable to drawing golf balls and setting them on a tee at the player's stand. The robot is for setting golf balls and includes an arm, a head which is connected to the arm, a controller. On the head a gripping element is arranged which is intended to grip golf balls, and the controller is equipped with a software to enable conveying a golf ball to an indicated position. The embodiments also provide a method for setting golf balls.

The present invention employs air pressure to suspend golf balls practice tees. A supply of golf balls is provided by a weather-resistant funnel connected to a pipe leading underground towards the fan. A sensor is used to determine if a golf ball is currently suspended in air and when to dispense a new ball.

An automatic golf ball retrieval system comprises a mat, a conveyor belt system, a cleaning system, an automatic tee setter system, and a processor. The mat includes front, middle and back portions, leftmost and rightmost sides, an exterior face and an interior face. The conveyor belt system comprises at least two frames and a rolling bar which moves between upper and lower ends of the at least two frames. The rolling bar forms a raised surface on the exterior face of the mat which engages and pushes the golf balls towards a base which receives and transfers the golf balls to a cleaning system located below the conveyor belt system which cleans the golf balls, an automatic tee setter system transfers at least one golf ball onto a tee from the cleaning system.

A delivery system for transporting a golf ball from a first location to a second location has a transport track. The transport track has a first track and a second track. The first track has a first contact edge and a second contact edge configured to simultaneously contact a golf ball. The second track has a third contact edge and fourth contact edge configured to simultaneously contact a golf ball. The first track is positioned opposite the second track and is configured to fit a golf ball therebetween. The first track and the second track each have a repeating curvature that produces an undulating path for a golf ball between the first location and the second location.

Disclosed is a golf practice apparatus. The golf practice apparatus includes a body part having, at the upper side thereof, a hole-cup hole into which a golf ball goes; and a lifting/lowering part which is connected to the lower side of the body part and which moves at least a portion of a region of the body part in the vertical direction, wherein the lifting/lowering part includes: a plurality of lifting/lowering units for pushing or pulling a portion of the region of the body part; and a driving unit for driving each of the lifting/lowering units.
