A ski shoe harness includes a sole, a receiver, and a heel strap. The sole includes a binding mechanism adapted to engage a binding system of a ski. The sole and the receiver are attached and define a space to receive the front portion of a shoe. The heel strap, attached to the receiver, wraps around the rear portion of the shoe, interlocking the ski shoe harness with the shoe. Further, the heel strap includes an adjustment mechanism. Using the ski shoe harness of the present invention, non-ski shoes and boots of a various designs and sizes may be used to share and utilize skis having common cross-country binding systems.

The proposed solution relates to a ski or snowshoe binding, to which binding a normal boot is attachable with general attachments which are part of said binding, such as with a strap in a front part of the binding and with a strap arrangement in a back part of the binding. The strap of the front part of the binding is transverse to the binding, adjustable in length and extends in a toe part of the binding under the body or inside the body of the binding. The cross-sectional profiles of the strap of the front part have been made in such a way that as the strap comes out from the body and turns upwards, a first profile portion is, over this distance, in a direction of width at its narrowest substantially in the entire upward turn, after which a second profile portion is widening and thinning towards a third profile portion.

A support assembly for use with snow sports boards includes a base configured to be attached to the snow sports board. A frame has a first portion extending downward and a second portion extending rearward from the first portion. A seat is mounted on the second portion of the frame. A shock absorber extends between the base and the first portion of the frame. During use, the support assembly is configured to support a rider sitting on the seat in a face-forward position with the rider's knees vertically below and forward of the rider's hips.

An adjustable ski binding adapter apparatus that adapt a snowboard boot for use with alpine ski bindings. The ski binding adapter apparatus includes a back support pivotally coupled to a sole plate, where the back support pivots to aid in stepping into the ski binding adapter apparatus. The sole plate is adjustable for length. Adjustable strap assemblies are coupled to the sole plate and the back support and snugly encircle and restrain the boot in the ski binding adapter apparatus. The back support and the sole plate are configured to conform to ski boot standards and attach to a conventional ski binding.

A binding includes a forward base portion that is configured to attach to a top surface of the ski. The binding includes a rearward base portion that is hingedly attached to the forward base portion. The rearward base portion is removably securable to the ski and movable about the forward base portion. The binding includes a forward adjustable boot retention element that includes a pair of lug wings attached to at least one of the forward base portion and the rearward base portion. A width between the lug wings is adjustable. The forward adjustable boot retention element includes a strap attached to the pair of lug wings. The strap is more flexible than the lug wings.

A ski boot frame that is attachable to a soft shell snow boot, for example a snowboard boot, for downhill skiing. The ski boot frame is constructed of multiple rigid materials to provide a user with proper support for downhill skiing. The ski boot frame further includes adjustable toe clip and heel clips for attachment to a standard downhill ski binding. The toe and heel clips are preferably adjustable to fit the frame to a plurality of sizes of ski bindings. A ski binding rescue device having an attachment mechanism for attaching the device to a pair of skis to form a sled. The device attaches to the bindings of a pair of skis and serves to maintain the skis in a parallel orientation. The device has an attachment mechanism for attaching to the toe portion of a ski binding and to the heel portion of a ski binding. The device has one or more rigid lengths that span between the ski binding attachments to serve to connect and maintain the skis in a parallel orientation and potentially to provide an area to place a person to be moved on the sled or other goods.

Disclosed herein is a boot frame comprising: a) a base; b) two side supports; c) a toe binding; d) a heel binding; e) an ankle support; f) a calf support; and g) at least one strap configured to secure a boot to the boot frame, wherein the side supports are independently adjustable, and wherein adjusting the side supports allows for a boot to line up at an angle relative to the base.
