A ball dispensing device for selectively dispensing and/or replacing pool or billiard balls enables an individual to quickly and repeatedly position balls for taking a shot. The device includes a track on which a number of pool balls are positioned and a dispensing or releasing mechanism disposed adjacent the track. The track feed the balls thereon towards the mechanism, such as under the influence of gravity, and the mechanism enables the balls to be dispensed individually from the track onto the table surface. Depending on the number of balls positioned on the track, the device enables an individual to quickly and readily position each of the balls from the track to quickly take a number of the shots as desired utilizing the balls.

Described herein are wireless billiard ball devices comprising a spherical housing and a circuit board mounted within the spherical housing, the circuit board having components for measuring the impact location of a billiard cue strike upon the surface of the spherical housing in reference to the relative orientation of the device with respect to gravity. The devices described herein do not require manual alignment by a player to measure impact location data. In other embodiments, the spherical housing is comprised of a bored hole, a potting material, and a circuit board mounted within the bored hole and secured in place with the potting material, the circuit board having components for measuring the impact location of a billiard cue strike upon the surface of the spherical housing in reference to the relative orientation of the device with respect to gravity.

A training device for positioning balls on the playing surface of cue sport game tables such as billiards, to assist players in making practice shots to enhance their playing skills and techniques. The training device includes a rectangular base, ramps pivotally attached to the rectangular base and pivoted in a deployed position during use, and in a non-deployed position to provide portability, rails provided on the rectangular base and ramps to accommodate object balls of different sizes, and a ball release system for sequentially deploying balls down the ramps in a controlled manner to accurately position the balls on game tables on a consistent basis without having to push each ball by hand.

The present invention relates to a billiards pointer for checking thickness and supporting a cue and, more particularly, to a billiards pointer in which a light irradiation ring is attached to an index finger so that two or more vertical lights are irradiated from the light irradiation ring, each irradiated vertical light, when a cue ball is being hit, simultaneously irradiates the cue ball and a first object ball to predict the degree of thickness by which the cue ball will hit the first object ball, the lights are blocked when the light irradiation is directed upward at a predetermined angle by means of a built-in tilt sensor, and a supporting ring fitted to a thumb is further provided, together with the light irradiation ring, to support the cue from above and below, thereby minimizing left and right rotations of the cue to enable precise hitting, so that beginners can easily understand, and enjoy a game of billiards.

A billiard training cue for increasing a player's breaking speed. The billiard training cue is weighted significantly heavier than regulation cues to build up muscle strength and improve a player's breaking speed with a regulation cue stick. The billiard training cue comprises a forward section, a cue tip, and a butt section attachable to the forward section. Both the forward and butt sections are significantly heavier than a regulation cue. The forward and butt sections may be solid core sections or comprise center bores for accepting weighted inserts. The billiard training cue may also be a single shaft that is weighted significantly heavier than regulation cues sticks.

An apparatus and method of use for assisting in ghost ball aiming are provided herein for use in cue sports. The apparatus enables a player to align an object ball with a target and determine an aim line at which to propel a cue ball to send the object ball to the target. The apparatus is selectively engaged or selectively attached to a cue stick to provide a visual indication of the aim line along the length of the cue stick. A pivot point of the apparatus is placed in contact with the play surface and secures an absolute position on the play surface as the cue stick and apparatus are rotated from a target line to the aim line.

The present invention is a training device that helps the players of cue sports to realize their mistakes and improve their skills. The device comprises of a laser module that can be placed onto the cue to emit a line laser on the cue ball, the target ball and the playing surface or ground as an aiming guide. The device comprises of a self-balancing system to automatically hold the laser on top of the cue for a proper beam. The device further comprises of a control board to program different duty cycles and coaching scenarios of the device.

A thickness checking pointer for billiard practice is provided, where while being fitted to a finger supporting a cue stick, the thickness checking pointer guides the cue stick to move in a straight line during forward and backward preparation motion or hitting motion of the cue stick, and emits a horizontal light beam in a travelling direction of the cue stick, so as to not only check which shape into which a cue ball and an object ball are arranged on the same straight line as the cue stick but also estimate the degree of thickness by which the cue ball moved upon hitting collides with the object ball, thereby enabling even beginners to easily understand billiards.
