INTERACTIVE APPLICATION SERVER ON A SECOND SCREEN DEVICE
20230232081 · 2023-07-20 · ·

A server version of an interactive application executed by a processing device of a first mobile device communicatively connected to a main video rendering device collects first data generated by a first client version of the interactive application executed by the processing device. The server version of the interactive application generates first displayable content relating to the first client version of the interactive application based on the first data, wherein the first displayable content is rendered on a display of the first mobile device. The server version of the interactive application generates second displayable content based in part on the first data and additional data relating to the server version of the interactive application, wherein the first displayable content is different from the second displayable content. The server version of the interactive application, transmits the second displayable content to the main video rendering device to be rendered on a main video display.

SIMULATION SYSTEM, SIMULATION METHOD, AND SIMULATION PROGRAM FOR CHARACTER OPERATION IN A VIRTUAL SPACE
20230021105 · 2023-01-19 · ·

A user estimates a change in a character's operation in a case where the character is operated in a virtual space by setting one or more commands for a character that is able to be disposed in a virtual space constituted by a plurality of virtual unit spaces and sets the order of execution of the commands. The commands and the order of execution of the commands are set for each of one character and another character, and each of the one character and the other character operates in the virtual space, and in a case where at least parts of an existence position of the one character and an existence position of the other character are common, at least any one of the one character and the other character executes a predetermined operation with preference over an operation based on the set command.

Systems and methods for reducing hops associated with a head mounted system

Systems and methods for reducing hops associated with a head mounted display are described. The head mounted display includes a communications circuit for receiving and transmitting interactive media associated with a game program via a network. The interactive media is processed by the game cloud system and streamed directly to the communications circuit of the head mounted display. The head mounted display further includes a user input circuit for receiving an action from a user to generate an input, which includes position and motion detected by the user input circuit. The head mounted display includes a game processing circuit for decoding the interactive media received from the network. The game processing circuit drives a portion of interactivity associated with the game program. The portion of interactivity is generated based on the input.

Content generation system

A content-generation guidance system for assisting a user in generating digital content, the system comprising a content analysis unit operable to analyse a first set of pre-existing user-generated content to identify one or more aspects of the content, a correlation identification unit operable to identify a correlation between the one or more identified aspects of the first set of content and user ratings of that content, and a content modification unit operable, when a user is generating new digital content, to identify one or more aspects of the new digital content for modification in dependence upon the identified correlation or correlations.

Transferring a virtual object
11694658 · 2023-07-04 · ·

In an exemplary process, a virtual object is displayed in an enhanced reality setting. A request to transfer the virtual object is received, wherein a determination is made whether a set of one or more virtual object transfer criteria is satisfied. Movement of the virtual object away from an avatar is displayed in accordance with a determination that the set of one or more virtual object transfer criteria is satisfied. Displaying movement includes determining whether a size of the virtual object satisfies a set of one or more size criteria. In accordance with a determination that the size of the virtual object satisfies the set of one or more size criteria, a reduction in the size of the virtual object is displayed. In accordance with a determination that the size of the virtual object does not satisfy the set of one or more size criteria, displaying of a reduction in the size of the virtual object is foregone.

Execution of a first game is started at the same start timing as those of opponents. In the first game, a player object is controlled on the basis of the player's operation, and second game data regarding the game states of second games for the opponents are acquired. Further, first game data regarding the game state of the first game is transmitted to the opponents. In the first game, a first obstructing object for obstructing advancement of the first game appears on the basis of a predetermined rule. Further, if the second game data indicates that the opponent has successfully performed a predetermined action on the first obstructing object appearing in the second game, a second obstructing object is caused to appear in the first game.
