Exhaust configuration for a wet scrubber
An exhaust configuration for a wet scrubber. The exhaust configuration includes a diffuser that is attached to the wet scrubber and which defining an outlet for discharging scrubbed air and paint laden water from the wet scrubber. Attached on lateral sides of the diffuser are wings. The wings extend away from the outlet.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR WET CLEANING A GAS STREAM
An apparatus and method for wet cleaning a gas stream has a housing with a gas inlet and a gas outlet, wherein, in the housing, there is at least a first washing segment that serves to clean the gas stream with a washing liquid and that is arranged in the flow path of the gas stream. Inside the housing of the apparatus, there is at least one fan that regulates air pressure along the flow path of the gas stream. A bypass channel for bypassing the flow path through the at least one washing segment as well as a regulator that is arranged in the bypass and that serves to discharge the gas stream being conveyed via the bypass channel are arranged inside the housing.
Exhaust purification system
An exhaust purification system has a centrifuge filter, a first fan device, a second fan device, a pump, and an ozone generator. The centrifuge filter has a container having a waste gas treating area and a wastewater treating area. The first fan device communicates with and draws gas into the waste gas treating area. The second fan device communicates with and draws the gas out of the waste gas treating area. The pump communicates with and draws wastewater from the wastewater treating area. The ozone generator communicates with the pump and introduces ozone into the wastewater inside the pump. A part of the ozone dissolved in the wastewater is released to the waste gas treating area to react with the gas, and the other part of the ozone dissolved in the wastewater reacts with the wastewater.
Apparatus for reducing greenhouse gas emission in vessel cooperated with exhaust gas recirculation and vessel including the same
The present invention relates to an apparatus for reducing greenhouse gas emission in a vessel cooperated with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), and a vessel including the same, in which NO.sub.X generation is reduced, which is the original purpose of EGR, while maintaining existing EGR, SO.sub.X as well as CO.sub.2, which is the representative greenhouse gas, are absorbed and converted into materials that do not affect environments, and the materials are discharged or stored as useful materials, thereby preventing corrosion of an engine and improving combustion efficiency.
Methods and Equipment for Treatment of Odorous Gas Streams
A method for removing noxious, hazardous, toxic, mutagenic, and/or carcinogenic compounds and/or precursor compounds from a comingled gas, liquid, and/or solid stream is described. In one embodiment, the method is used to prepare the stream for feeding to an oxidizer, such as a thermal oxidizer, to reduce the amount of particulate matter discharged by the oxidizer and includes passing the stream through an ambient or chilled temperature condenser followed by an optional gas/solid separator, and one or more gas scrubbers prior to feeding to the oxidizer.
Method and apparatus for removal of gas bubbles from fluid
A system and method for removing gas bubbles from fluid. An active filter apparatus forces the bubbles to the center of the filter, while a pump supplies fluid to the filter.
System, method, and apparatus to reduce urban air pollution
A system for relocating polluted air includes a tubular chamber with an inlet at one end, an outlet at a end, and auxiliary venturi inlets between the inlet and the outlet. There is at least one fan arranged within the tubular chamber. The fan flows air from outside of the tubular chamber, through the tubular chamber and out of the tubular chamber through the outlet. A compression chamber compresses air before entering the heating chamber. There is at least one heating element within the heating chamber. The heating element(s) heat the air, thereby increasing the velocity of the air through the tubular chamber. The air exits the tubular chamber through the outlet, directed vertically and upward towards upper strata of the atmosphere to redirect the air (and pollutants) into the upper strata of the atmosphere. In some embodiments, filters and scrubbers are provided within the tubular chamber for reducing pollutants.
Methods and equipment for treatment of odorous gas steams
A method for removing noxious, hazardous, toxic, mutagenic, and/or carcinogenic compounds and/or precursor compounds from a comingled gas, liquid, and/or solid stream is described. In one embodiment, the method is used to prepare the stream for feeding to an oxidizer, such as a thermal oxidizer, to reduce the amount of particulate matter discharged by the oxidizer and includes passing the stream through an ambient or chilled temperature condenser followed by an optional gas/solid separator, and one or more gas scrubbers prior to feeding to the oxidizer.
MIST DISCHARGE DEVICE AND ABSORBENT ABSORBER
Provided is a mist discharge device configured to discharge a mist trapped by a demister, in which the demister is disposed in a gas flow path allowing gas to flow from the lower side to the upper side in the vertical direction, has a lower side serving as an inlet side of the gas and an upper side serving as an outlet side of the gas, and is configured to trap the mist contained in the gas, and the mist discharge device includes a protrusion protruding downward from the inlet side of the demister. The protrusion is a plate-like member extending downward, and a plurality of the plate-like members are disposed to be horizontally spaced at predetermined intervals.
