The water generating unit can be configured to generate the water and comprises a desiccation device and a condenser coupled to the desiccation device. The waste-heat-generating-system can generate the waste heat when operating or is use. The water generating unit can be configured to use waste heat generated by the waste-heat-generating-system to generate the water.

The system may further include a high butane working capacity adsorbent. The disclosure also describes a method for reducing emissions in an evaporative emission control system.

The desiccant member is contamination resistant and may be regenerable. The desiccant member may have a high working moisture capacity that is suited for demanding environments.

The system may also include a scrubbing outlet configured to expel the scrubbed first airflow from the assembly into the cabin. The system may include an outside air inlet configured to receive a second airflow comprising outside air during a regeneration mode. The system may include a regeneration air outlet in configured to expel the second airflow after the second airflow has flowed over and/or through the sorbent during the regeneration mode.

A process for treating a petroleum fraction and for efficiently absorbing an organic halogen compound from a fluid mixture of the organic halogen compound and an inorganic halogen compound derived from crude oil. Also disclosed is an improvement in absorption performance of a halogen-compound-absorbing material, thereby reducing the frequency with which the absorbing material is exchanged. The absorbing agent includes attapulgite (palygorskite) having high absorption performance with respect to organic halogen compounds. Also disclosed is an absorption column in which the aforementioned absorbing agent and a halogen-compound-absorbing agent, that includes zinc oxide, are disposed in series, thereby making it possible to raise the treatment performance with respect to a fluid that contains, in high concentrations, the organic halogen compound in addition to the inorganic halogen compound.
