Provided is an inexpensive mesh filter with high productivity. This mesh filter, which is an integrally molded product of resin, includes: a mesh part in which a plurality of ribs are disposed in a lattice shape; a rim part which is formed in an annular shape so as to surround the mesh part, and to which the plurality of ribs are connected; and a final filling part which is disposed on the inner side of the rim part, and to which some of the plurality of ribs are connected. The cross-sectional area of at least one rib among the ribs connected to the final filling part is smaller than the cross-sectional area of at least one rib among the ribs not connected to the final filling part.

PANEL FILTER ELEMENT

Panel filter elements having a pleat block and a seal member are described. The panel filter elements are arranged such that the seal members and pleat blocks can have curved and/or angled elements. The seal member of a filter element may be curved, angled, twisted, and/or has a varying cross-section. The inlet and outlet faces of the pleat block of the filter element may be curved and/or twisted instead of planar. In some arrangements, both the seal member of the filter element and the faces of the pleat blocks can be curved and/or twisted. The described filter elements may be may be flexible, such that the shape of the filter element and/or seal can conform to the shape of a filter housing, or rigid, such that the shape of the filter element remains substantially the same before and after installation into a filter housing.

The suction panel is formed to rotate with an axial direction of an air blowing fan or a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the air blowing fan as a rotation axis to be coupled with or separated from the housing. Accordingly, a user may easily and intuitively separate the suction panel and falling of the suction panel, which may occur when the suction panel is separated, may be effectively reduced using a supporting unit disposed at the suction panel. Also, the housing and cover members which cover an outer perimeter of a lower portion of the housing may be coupled with each other by pressurizing the cover members toward the housing, thereby allowing the user to easily coupled the cover members.

A portable air filter and method of use are provided. The portable air filter includes a semi-permeable air filter, optionally disposed within a frame. An attachment surface, such as an adhesive, is disposed on the frame, for attaching the portable air filter to an air vent. In certain embodiments, a second air filter and frame are slidably connected to the frame. If the portable air filter is not disposed within a frame, the portable air filter is cut to fit over an air vent, and an adhesive, such as tape, is provided for a user to attach the cut filter to fit over the air vent. The method includes attaching the portable air filter to an air vent by pressing the adhesive to a wall, ceiling, or floor such that the portable air filter covers the air vent. The invention is useful for improving air quality in a variety of spaces, including in an airplane, in a hotel, on a cruise ship, on a travel bus, and other public spaces.

A silicon carbide porous body includes a skeletal structure formed by a plurality of silicon carbide particles bonded to each other, a plurality of pores formed by the skeletal structure, neck parts formed by surface-contacting of adjacent silicon carbide particles, and an average pore size is larger than 3 m and equal to or smaller than 9 m, and a porosity ranges from 35% to 55%. A break filter using the silicon carbide porous body enables high performance of collection of particles, prevention of soaring up of particles, and shortening of a restoration time from the depressurized state of the chamber to the atmospheric state.

A filter cell element for use in a housing to form a filtering assembly. The filter element has a media pack having an interior and a separator element having a passage therein for radial fluid communication between the media pack interior and an edge of the media pack. An overmold seal at the media pack edge seals the media pack to the separator element. Methods of making the filter element and methods of using are also disclosed.

Air-oil separator with first separator radially outward of matrix separator

There is disclosed a separator having a first separator and a matrix separator. The first separator caters to an air-oil mixture having a first oil concentration and the matrix separator caters to an air-oil mixture having a second oil concentration being less than the first oil concentration. The matrix separator is disposed at least partially concentrically within the first separator. A wall is disposed radially between the first and second separators. A radial passage extends through the wall. An air-oil mixture outlet of the first separator is fluidly connected to an air-oil mixture inlet of the matrix separator via the radial passage. At least one passage extends radially outwardly from the matrix separator across the first separator. The at least one passage fluidly connects the matrix separator to an environment outside the air-oil separator. A method of removing oil from an air-oil mixture is also disclosed.
