The frame (1) for holding the plurality of filtration assemblies (100) comprises an array of supports (5) each configured to receive and support one of the filtration assemblies (100) on a common support plane (2), and connection means (6) provided on the periphery (7) of the frame (1) and configured to releasably connect, by a form-locking engagement, a further frame (1) such that the common support planes (2) of the connected frames (1) are contiguous. Further, the testing unit (10) comprises at least one frame (1) packed in a bag (20) in pre-sterilized condition.
FILTRATION MEMBRANE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF CLEANING THE SAME
An assembly for treating a liquid is provided. The assembly includes a pressure vessel having first and second ends provided with respective first and second endcaps, a membrane element positioned within the pressure vessel, an adapter coupling the first endcap with a first end of the membrane element, a first set of shims positioned between the first endcap and the first adapter, a first thrust collar positioned between the first endcap and the first end of the membrane element, a second thrust collar positioned between the second endcap and a second end of the membrane element, and a second set of shims positioned between the first thrust collar and the first end of the membrane element. An overall thickness of the second set of shims is the same as an overall thickness of the first set of shims.
CONNECTION STRUCTURE AND MEMBRANE FILTRATION DEVICE
A membrane element having a filtration main body, a header (a water collection portion) that collects treated water from an end portion of the filtration main body and a treated water lead-out portion that leads out the treated water is used. The treated water lead-out portion is connected to a tubular peripheral wall of a water collection pipe that collects treated water solid-liquid-separated by the membrane element, and communicates with an inside of the tubular peripheral wall. The tubular peripheral wall has a thick portion that is thicker in a horizontal direction at an upper-side peripheral wall portion located at an upper side (or at a lower-side peripheral wall portion located at a lower side) in the radial direction of the tubular peripheral wall, and a connecting hole that penetrates the thick portion.
BREATHING AIR CLEANING DEVICE
The invention relates to a respiratory air purifier device. In order to provide an improved respiratory air purifier device which is able effectively to retain viruses, a respiratory air purifier device 101 is proposed for retention of viruses from respiratory air flowing through the device 101, the latter having an interface 110 designed such that it can be placed by a wearer sealingly onto at least one respiratory opening, a hollow-fibre dialyser 120 as a filter, and a connection piece 130 between the interface 110 and the dialyser 120, wherein interface 110, dialyser 120 and connection piece 130 are configured in such a way as to form an airtight fluid channel which fluidically connects the interface to either only the exterior of the hollow fibres X or only the interior of the hollow fibres I of the hollow-fibre dialyser 120, and wherein the purifier device 101 is designed in such a way that, in at least one flow direction E, A, each flow path pE, pA that runs completely through the purifier device extends through the pores of the hollow-fibre membranes, i.e. transversely with respect to the hollow-fibre membrane, of the hollow-fibre dialyser 120.
DETECTION OF PERFORMANCE IRREGULARITIES WITHIN MULTI-ELEMENT VESSELS
Filtration vessels containing multiple filtration elements, and devices and processes for detection of leaks within these filtration elements.
MEMBRANE HUMIDIFIER FOR FUEL CELLS
A membrane humidifier for a fuel cell includes a hollow fiber membrane cartridge including a cartridge housing which is formed as a hollow having openings facing opposite sides of the cartridge housing in the longitudinal direction thereof and which has a side wall having a plurality of vent holes, a hollow fiber membrane inserted into an interior of the cartridge housing, and a resin layer filling an inner space of opposite sides of the cartridge housing in the longitudinal direction thereof, a membrane humidifier housing in which the hollow fiber membrane cartridge is formed, and a bulkhead formed in an interior of the membrane humidifier housing, wherein the bulkhead has mounting holes into which ends of the cartridge housing in the longitudinal direction thereof are inserted.
Filtration assembly and method for microbiological testing
The invention concerns a filtration assembly (1) for microbiological testing and a method of using the filtration assembly for that purpose. The filtration assembly (1) comprises a ring-like membrane support (10) holding a filtration membrane (11), a cylindrical reservoir (20) of which opposite axial ends have openings and one axial opening is removably and fluid-tightly attachable to the membrane support (10) to define a sample volume adjacent to the filtration membrane (11) on one axial side of the membrane support (10); and a drain member (30) removably and fluid tightly attachable to the membrane support (10) to define a drain channel space adjacent to the filtration membrane (11) on an opposite axial side of the membrane support (10).
