Rotary disc filter having a backwash system that includes a compact nozzle support structure
A rotary disc filter having a backwash system that includes a series of feed pipes that project into and between successive filter discs that are mounted on a rotatable drum. Connected to an outer terminal end portion of the feed pipes is a series of nozzle holders. Each nozzle holder includes a main conduit, a series of branch conduits that project outwardly from the main conduit, and a connector for connecting the nozzle holder to a respective feed pipe. A series of detachable nozzles are secured to the outer terminal ends of the branch conduits.
BACKWASHING SUCTION DEVICE FOR FABRIC FILTRATION APPARATUS
A backwashing suction device for a fabric filtration apparatus, and more particularly, a backwashing suction device for a fabric filtration apparatus in which an edge surface of a suction slit through which pile threads exit is inclined to form a slope so that the pile threads introduced into the suction slit when a fiber disk filter is rotated for backwashing come into contact with the slope and thus the amount of angular rotation of the pile threads is increased to increase the backwashing effect. Also, since a plurality of friction protrusions are formed to protrude from the slope, the effect of removing foreign substances can be further enhanced through the effect of rubbing and washing the pile threads on a washboard while the pile threads ascend over each of the friction protrusions one by one.
Filter Assembly Employing Cloth Filter Layer for Use in Self-Cleaning Filter
A filter filters a flow of liquid and has a pressure vessel, a filter assembly deployed within the pressure vessel, and a backwash assembly. The pressure vessel has an inlet, an outlet, and a flow path in fluid communication with the outlet. The filter assembly has at least one filter unit and at least one support configuration that supports the at least one filter element. The at least one filter element has first and second coarse mesh material support layer that have apertures of a first and second size, respectively, and a cloth filter layer that has apertures of a third size smaller than the first and second sizes. The cloth filter layer is interposed between the first and second coarse mesh material support layers. The backwash assembly has a suction nozzle in facing relation to a first or second surface of the filter unit.
SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES EMPLOYING WET/DRY SUCTION FILTER
Water or wastewater filtration systems and processes have a filter tank having a floor and sidewall defining a filtration zone, an influent conduit, and an effluent conduit. One or more filtration members in the tank having filter media, and one or more cleaning members adjacent at least some portions of the filter media. Generating an effluent stream by generating a pressure differential across submerged portions of the filtration media, causing water in the influent to flow from outside to inside the submerged portions of the filter media. A prime mover rotates the filtration members. A blower and chamber for creating a reduced pressure condition in each of the cleaning members when they are non-submerged, the chamber receiving wet solids removed from non-submerged, wet solids-laden portions of the filter media by the non-submerged cleaning members subsequent to submerged, fouled portions of the filter media being rotated out of the filtration zone.
FILTER SYSTEM FOR VISCOUS OR HIGHLY VISCOUS LIQUIDS, IN PARTICULAR PLASTIC MELTS AND METHOD FOR FILTERING VISCOUS OR HIGHLY VISCOUS LIQUIDS
A device and a method for filtering viscous or highly viscous liquids, in particular plastics melts, includes use of an oscillating filter plate.
Filter system for viscous or highly viscous liquids, in particular plastic melts and method for filtering viscous or highly viscous liquids
A device and a method for filtering viscous or highly viscous liquids, in particular plastics melts, includes use of an oscillating filter plate.
FIBER DISC FILTER HAVING STRUCTURE FOR PREVENTING DAMAGE TO FABRIC FILTER
The present invention relates to a fabric disc filter having a structure for preventing damage to a filter panel. In this regard, an object of the present invention is to provide a fabric disc filter having a structure for preventing damage to filter panel, being capable of preventing the filter panel attached to the filter panel from being torn or being disconnected from the filter frame in the washing process of suctioning and removing foreign matter. To accomplish this object, the present invention provides a fabric disc filter having a structure for preventing damage to filter panel, the fabric disc filter including: a rotary drum; and a plurality of filter segments arranged on an outer circumferential surface of the rotary drum, wherein each of the filter segments includes: a segment frame that is partially open so as to enable inlet of a fluid therethrough, and being configured to discharge the inlet fluid to the rotary drum; a filter frame assembled to the segment frame so as to be positioned on the fluid inlet side of the segment frame; a filter panel provided in the filter frame so as to filter foreign matter in the fluid flowing therethrough; and a rod-shaped stopper provided in the filter panel so as to distribute a load applied to the filter panel in a washing process of the filter panel and couple the filter panel to the filter frame or the segment frame.
AUTOMATIC SELF-CLEANING BACKWASH STRAINER
A strainer includes a housing having an inlet port, an outlet port, and a flow path from the inlet port to the outlet port. A strainer drum is supported for rotation in the housing. The drum has an open end arranged in the flow path to receive water flowing from the inlet port into the drum through the open end, and has a porous side wall arranged in the flow path to strain solids from water flowing outward from the drum through the porous side wall. A backwash tube has a backwash outlet located inside the drum and facing outward of the drum beside an inner surface of the porous side wall.
WATER TREATMENT DEVICE
The present invention provides a liquid treatment device capable of suppressing a decrease in cleaning performance. Provided is a liquid treatment device provided with a filter 2 inside a casing 1, comprising a discharge means 4, wherein the discharge means 4 comprises nozzles 41, 42 and a discharge pipe 44, the nozzles 41, 42 are arranged to open toward the filter 2, the discharge pipe 44 is arranged to discharge water introduced from the nozzles 41, 42 to an outside of the casing 1, and a first through hole 41h (42h) is formed on at least one of a side surface of the nozzles 41, 42 and the discharge pipe 44.
